以西結書 38
1 上主的話傳給我說：「
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
2 人子，你面向哥格和瑪哥格地，即面向默舍克和突巴耳的最高領袖，講預言攻斥他，
'Son of man, set thy face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 說：吾主上主這樣說：默舍客和突巴耳的最高領袖，看，我要攻擊你，
and say: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal;
4 我要用鉤子鉤住你的牙床，把你拖出來，使你帶領你的大軍、馬隊和騎兵出征，都是全副武裝，戴著盔甲和盾牌的大軍，都手持刀劍。
and I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed most gorgeously, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords:
5 還有波斯、雇士和普特人同他們聯盟，都帶著盾牌和銅盔。
Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
6 哥默爾及其隊伍，極北方的托加爾瑪家族及其隊伍，還有許多人民同你聯合。
Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his bands; even many peoples with thee.
7 你和同你聯合的各種隊伍都要戒備武裝起來，好為我服務。
Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou guarded of them.
8 多日之後，你要奉到命令；到末年，你要去攻擊那脫離兵災已復原的地方，那裏的居民是由各民族聚集起來的；你要去攻擊那久已荒涼的以色列山，那裏的居民是由各民族歸來，已安居在那裏。
After many days thou shalt be mustered for service, in the latter years thou shalt come against the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, against the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought forth out of the peoples, and they dwell safely all of them.
9 你和你的大軍，以及同你聯合的各種隊伍都一起上去，有如狂風來臨，有如濃雲遮地。
And thou shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.
10 吾主上主這樣說：到那一天，你要心起惡念，籌劃一個惡計。
Thus saith the Lord GOD: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt devise an evil device;
11 你要想：我要進攻不設防的地方，進攻安居無憂的人民；他們住的地方沒有圍牆，沒有門閂，也沒有門。
and thou shalt say: I will go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will come upon them that are at quiet, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates;
12 我要去搶奪劫掠，下手攻擊已為人居住的廢墟，攻擊那由各民族匯集而來，已有牲畜財物，已安居在地中心的人民。
to take the spoil and to take the prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and against the people that are gathered out of the nations, that have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the earth.
13 舍巴、德丹、塔爾史士的商人和客商都問你說：你來豈不是為了搶奪﹖集合你的聯軍豈不是為了劫掠，奪去金銀，帶走牲畜和財物，拿去大批掠物﹖
Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the magnates thereof, shall say unto thee: Comest thou to take the spoil? hast thou assembled thy company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take great spoil?
14 人子，為此你要講預言，向哥格說：吾主上主這樣說：當我的百姓以色列安居的那一天，你不是就起了身，
Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say unto Gog: Thus saith the Lord GOD: In that day when My people Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 離開你的住處，由極北之地而來，率領許多民族都騎著馬，實在是一支龐大的聯軍，極強大的隊伍，
And thou shalt come from thy place out of the uttermost parts of the north, thou, and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army;
16 上來進攻我的百姓以色列，有如密雲遮地一般﹖哥格! 到末日我要領你來攻打我的地方，為的是當我在異民眼前，在你身上顯聖時，叫他們認識我。
and thou shalt come up against My people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the end of days, and I will bring thee against My land, that the nations may know Me, when I shall be sanctified through thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 吾主上主這樣說：你就是我昔日藉我的僕人以色列的先知在那些歲月中所預言的：我要領你進攻他們的那一位。
Thus saith the Lord GOD: Art thou he of whom I spoke in old time by My servants the prophets of Israel, that prophesied in those days for many years, that I would bring thee against them?
18 到哥格進攻以色列的那一天──吾主上主的斷語──我的怒氣要從我的鼻孔發出；
And it shall come to pass in that day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that My fury shall arise up in My nostrils.
19 我要在妒忌怒火中說：的確，到那一天，以色列地必要發生大地震；
For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath have I spoken: Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 海裏的魚，空中的飛鳥，田間的走獸，地上所有的爬蟲，地面上所有的人，都要在我面前戰慄；山要崩裂，懸崖要塌陷，所有牆垣要傾倒地上。
so that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep upon the ground, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at My presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21 我要召刀劍到我的各山上來攻擊他──吾主上主的斷語──人們要用刀劍互相殘殺。
And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD; every man's sword shall be against his brother.
22 我要以瘟疫和殘殺懲罰他，且要在他和他的軍隊以及同他聯合的眾民身上，降下暴雨、冰雹、火燄和硫磺。
And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will cause to rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many peoples that are with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 如此，我要顯示我的偉大和神聖，且在眾民眼前顯示我自己，使他們承認我是上主。」
Thus will I magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself, and I will make Myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
