出埃及記 23
1 不可傳播謠言；不可與惡人攜手作假見証。
Thou shall not take up a false report. Do not put thy hand with the wicked man to be an unrighteous witness.
2 不可隨從多數以附和惡事；在爭訟的事上，不可隨從多數說歪曲正義的話。
Thou shall not follow a multitude to do evil, neither shall thou speak in a case to turn aside after a multitude to distort justice,
3 在爭訟的事上，也不可偏袒弱小。
neither shall thou favor a poor man in his case.
4 假使你遇見你仇人的牛或驢迷了路，應給他領回去。
If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his donkey going astray, thou shall surely bring it back to him again.
5 假使你遇見你仇人的驢跌臥在重載下，不可棄而不顧，應幫助驢主卸下重載。
If thou see the donkey of him who hates thee lying under his burden, thou shall refrain leaving him. Thou shall surely release it with him.
6 你對窮人的訴訟，不可歪曲他的正義。
Thou shall not distort the justice due to thy poor in his case.
7 作偽的案件，你應戒避。不可殺無辜和正義的人，因為我決不以惡人為義人。
Keep thee far from a false matter. And do not kill an innocent and righteous man, for I will not justify a wicked man.
8 不可受賄賂，因為賄賂能使明眼人眼瞎，能顛倒正義者的言語。
And thou shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight, and perverts the words of the righteous.
9 不可壓迫外僑，因為你們在埃及國也作過外僑，明瞭在外作客的心情。安息年與安息日
And thou shall not oppress a sojourner, for ye know the heart of a sojourner, since ye were sojourners in the land of Egypt.
10 你應種地六年之久，收穫地的出產；
And six years thou shall sow thy land, and shall gather in the increase of it,
11 但第七年，你應讓地休息，把出產留給你百姓中的窮人吃；他們吃剩的，給野獸吃。對葡萄和橄欖園，也應這樣行。
but the seventh year thou shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of thy people may eat, and what they leave the beast of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shall deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
12 六天內你應工作，第七天要停工，使你的牛驢休息，使你婢女的兒子和外僑都獲得喘息。
Six days thou shall do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shall rest, that thine ox and thy donkey may have rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the sojourner, may be refreshed.
13 凡我吩咐你們的，都應遵守。你們不可提及外神的名字，決不可讓人由你口中聽到。以色列的慶節
And in all things that I have said to you take ye heed, and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
14 每年三次應為我舉行慶節。
Three times thou shall keep a feast to me in the year.
15 應遵守無酵節：照我所命的，在阿彼布月所定的日期，七天之久吃無酵餅，因為你在這個月離開了埃及。誰也不可空著手到我台前來。
Thou shall keep the feast of unleavened bread (Seven days thou shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, at the time appointed in the month Abib, for in it thou came out from Egypt, and none shall appear before me empty),
16 又應遵守收成節，即你在田地播種勞力之後，獻初熟之果的慶節。還應遵守收藏節，即在年尾，由田地中收斂你勞力所得的慶節。
and the feast of harvest, the first-fruits of thy labors, which thou sow in the field, and the feast of ingathering at the end of the year, when thou gather in thy labors out of the field.
17 你所有的男子一年三次應到上主台前來。
Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the lord Jehovah.
18 不可同酵麵一起祭獻犧牲的血；不可把我節日的犧牲脂肪留到早晨。
Thou shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread, neither shall the fat of my feast remain all night until the morning.
19 你田中最上等的初熟之果，應獻到上主你天主的殿中；不可煮山羊羔在其母奶中。應許與訓戒
The first of the first-fruits of thy ground thou shall bring into the house of Jehovah thy God. Thou shall not boil a kid in its mother's milk.
20 看我在你面前派遣我的使者，為在路上保護你，領你到我所準備的地方。
Behold, I send an agent before thee, to keep thee by the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
21 在他面前應謹慎，聽他的話，不可違背他，不然他決不赦免你們的過犯，因為在他身上有我的名號。
Take ye heed before him, and hearken to his voice, provoke him not. For he will not pardon your transgression, for my name is in him.
22 如果你聽從他的話，作我所吩咐的一切，我要以你的仇人為仇，以你的敵人為敵。
But if thou shall indeed hearken to his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to thine enemies, and an adversary to thine adversaries.
23 我的使者將走在你前，領你到阿摩黎人、赫特人、培黎齊人、客納罕人、希崴人和耶步斯人那裏；我要消滅他們。
For my agent shall go before thee, and bring thee in to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, and I will cut them off.
24 他們的神像，你不可朝拜，也不可事奉，也不可作那些人所作的；反之，應徹底破壞那些神像，打碎他們的神柱。
Thou shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works, but thou shall utterly overthrow them, and break their pillars in pieces.
25 你們事奉上主你們的天主，他必祝福你們的餅和水，使疾病遠離你們。
And ye shall serve Jehovah your God, and he will bless thy bread, and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
26 在你境內沒有流產和不育的婦女；我要滿你一生的壽數。
There shall none cast her young, nor be barren, in thy land; I will fulfill the number of thy days.
27 我要在你前顯示我的威嚴；凡你所到之處，我要使那裏的百姓慌亂，使你的一切仇敵見你而逃。
I will send my terror before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shall come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs to thee.
28 我要在你前打發黃蜂，將希威人、客納罕人和郝特人，由你面前趕走。
And I will send the hornet before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
29 我不在一年之內將他們由們你面前趕走，免得田地荒蕪，野獸多起來害你。
I will not drive them out from before thee in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the beasts of the field multiply against thee.
30 我要漸漸將他們由你面前趕走，一直到你繁殖增多起來，能佔領那地為止。
Little by little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
31 我要劃定你的國界，由紅海直到培勒舍特海，從曠野直到大河；並將那地的居民教在你手中，你要在他們面前趕走，
And I will set thy border from the Red Sea even to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River. For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and thou shall drive them out before thee.
32 決不可與他們和他們的神立約，
Thou shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
33 決不准他們住在你境內，免得引你得罪我，引你事奉他們的神：這為你是一種陷阱。」
They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me, for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to thee.
