出埃及記 15
1 那時梅瑟和以色列子民唱了這篇詩歌，歌頌上主說：我要歌頌上主，因他獲得全勝，將馬和騎兵投於海中。
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song to Jehovah, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto Jehovah, for he is highly exalted: The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
2 上主是我的力量和保障，他作了我的救援。他是我的天主，我要頌揚他；是我祖先的天主，我要讚美他。
My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation: This is my God, and I will glorify him; My father's God, and I will extol him.
3 上主是戰士，名叫「雅威。」
Jehovah is a man of war; Jehovah, his name.
4 法郎的戰車軍隊，他投於海中，使他的良將沉於紅海。
Pharaoh's chariots and his army hath he cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea.
5 浪濤淹沒了他們，像大石沉入海底。
The depths covered them; they sank to the bottom as a stone.
6 上主，你的右手大顯神能；上主，你的右手擊碎了敵人。
Thy right hand, Jehovah, is become glorious in power: Thy right hand, Jehovah, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
7 以你無比的威嚴，毀滅了你的敵人；你發出的怒火，燒滅他們像燒麥楷。
And by the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown thine adversaries: Thou sentest forth thy burning wrath, it consumed them as stubble.
8 你鼻孔一噴氣，大水聚集，浪濤直立如堤，深淵凝固於海心。
And by the breath of thy nostrils the waters were heaped up; The streams stood as a mound; The depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.
9 仇人說：「我要追擊擒獲，分得獵物，才心滿意足；我要拔刀出鞘，親手斬滅。」
The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my soul shall be sated upon them; I will unsheath my sword, my hand shall dispossess them.
10 但你一噓氣，海將他們覆沒，像鉛沉入深淵。
Thou didst blow with thy breath, the sea covered them; They sank as lead in the mighty waters.
11 上主，眾神誰可與你相比﹖誰能像你那樣，神聖尊威，光榮可畏，施行奇蹟!
Who is like unto thee, Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like unto thee, glorifying thyself in holiness, Fearful [in] praises, doing wonders?
12 你伸出右手，大地就吞了他們；
Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.
13 以你的慈愛，領出了你所救的百姓；憑你的能力，領他們進入了你的聖所。
Thou by thy mercy hast led forth the people that thou hast redeemed; Thou hast guided them by thy strength unto the abode of thy holiness.
14 外邦聽了，必驚慌顫慄，恐怖籠罩了培肋舍特居民；
The peoples heard it, they were afraid: A thrill seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 那時厄東的酋長驚慌失措，摩阿布的首領嚇的發抖，客納罕的居民膽顫心寒。
Then the princes of Edom were amazed; The mighty men of Moab, trembling hath seized them; All the inhabitants of Canaan melted away.
16 驚慌與恐怖降在他們身上；因你大能的手臂，他們像石塊僵立不動，直到你的百姓走過，上主! 直到你所救贖的百姓走過。
Fear and dread fall upon them; By the greatness of thine arm they are still as a stone; Till thy people pass over, Jehovah, Till the people pass over that thou hast purchased.
17 上主，你引領他們，吾主，在你為物業的山上，在你為自己準備的住所，在你親手建立的聖所，培植了他們。
Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, The place that thou, Jehovah, hast made thy dwelling, The Sanctuary, Lord, that thy hands have prepared.
18 上主為王，萬世無疆!
Jehovah shall reign for ever and ever!
19 法郎的馬、戰車和騎兵一到海中，上主就使海水回流，淹沒了他們；以色列子民卻在海中乾地上走過。
For the horse of Pharaoh, with his chariots and with his horsemen, came into the sea, and Jehovah brought again the waters of the sea upon them; and the children of Israel went on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea.
20 此時亞郎的姐妹女先知米黎盎手中拿著鼓，眾婦女也都跟著她，拿著鼓舞蹈。
And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the tambour in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambours and with dances.
21 米黎盎應和他們說：「你們應歌頌上主，因他獲得全勝，將馬和騎士投入海中。」變苦水為甜水
And Miriam answered them, Sing to Jehovah, for he is highly exalted: The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
22 以後梅瑟命以色列人由紅海起營，往叔爾曠野去；他們在曠野裏走了三天，沒有找到水。
And Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
23 隨後，到了瑪辣，但不能喝瑪辣的水，因為水苦；因此稱那地為瑪辣。
And they came to Marah, and could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore the name of it was called Marah.
24 那時百姓抱怨梅瑟說：「我們喝什麼呢﹖」
And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
25 梅瑟遂呼號上主，上主便指給他一塊木頭；他把木頭扔在水裏，水就變成甜水。上主在那裏給百姓立定了法律和典章，也在那裏試探了他們。
And he cried to Jehovah; and Jehovah shewed him wood, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters became sweet. There he made for them a statute and an ordinance; and there he tested them.
26 上主說：「你若誠心聽從上主你天主的話，行他眼中視為正義的事，服從他的命令，遵守他的一切法律，我決不加於埃及人的災殃，加於你們，因為我是醫治你的上主。」
And he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do what is right in his eyes, and incline thine ears to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the complaints upon thee that I have put upon the Egyptians; for I am Jehovah who healeth thee.
27 以後他們到了厄林，那裏有十二股水泉，七十棵棕樹。他們便在那裏靠近水邊安了營。
And they came to Elim; and twelve springs of water were there, and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.
