出埃及記 12
1 上主在埃及國訓示梅瑟和亞郎說：「
And Jehovah spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2 你們要以本月為你們的正月，為你們算是一年的首月。
This month shall be to you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.
3 你們應訓示以色列會眾，本月十日，他們每人照家族準備一隻羔羊，一家一隻。
Speak ye to all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household.
4 若是小家庭，吃不了一隻，家長應和附近的鄰居按照人數共同預備，並照每人的飯量估計當吃的羔羊。
And if the household be too little for a lamb, then he and his neighbor next to his house shall take one according to the number of the souls, according to every man's eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.
5 羔羊應是一歲無殘疾的公羊，要由綿羊或山羊中挑選。
Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. Ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats.
6 把這羔羊留到本月十四日，在黃昏的時候，以色列全體會眾便將牠宰殺。
And ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening.
7 各家都應取些血塗在吃羔羊的房屋的兩門框和門楣上。
And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel upon the houses in which they shall eat it.
8 在那一夜要吃肉；肉要用火烤了，同無酵餅及苦菜一起吃。
And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread, with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
9 肉切不可吃生的或水煮的，只許吃火烤的。頭、腿和五臟都應吃盡。
Do not eat of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire, its head with its legs and with the inwards of it.
10 一點也不許留到早晨；若是早晨還有剩下的，都要用火燒掉。
And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning, but that which remains of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
11 你們應這樣吃：束著腰，腳上穿著鞋，手裏拿著棍杖，急速快吃：這是向上主守的逾越節。
And thus ye shall eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And ye shall eat it in haste. It is Jehovah's Passover.
12 這一夜我要走遍埃及全國，將埃及國一切首生，無論是人是牲畜都要殺死，對於埃及的眾神，我也要嚴加懲罰：我是上主。
For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments. I am Jehovah.
13 這血在你們所住的房屋上，當作你們的記號：我打擊埃及國的時候，一見這血，就越過你們去，毀滅的災禍不落在你們身上。
And the blood shall be to you for a sign upon the houses where ye are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
14 這一天將是你們的紀念日，要當作上主的節日來慶祝；你們要世世代代過這節日，作為永遠的法規。
And this day shall be to you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to Jehovah; throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.
15 你們應一連七天吃無酵餅。第一天務要從你們家內將酵子除去，因為從第一天直到第七天，凡吃有酵之物的人，都應從以色列中鏟除。
Seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread, even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
16 第一天和第七天應召開聖會；這兩天一切勞工都不可作，只准你們準備每人吃的東西。
And in the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation, no manner of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.
17 你們應守無酵節，因為這一天我領你們的軍旅出離了埃及國，所以你們要世世代代守這一天，作為永遠的法規。
And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread, for in this selfsame day I have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt. Therefore ye shall observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance forever.
18 從正月十四日晚起，到二十一日晚為止，你們應吃無酵餅。
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty-first day of the month at evening.
19 七天內，在你們家內不准有酵子，因為凡吃了有酵之物的，不論他是外方人或是本地人，都應從以色列會眾內鏟除。
Seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a sojourner, or one who is born in the land.
20 任何有酵之物，`不准你們吃；在你們所居住之處，都應吃無酵餅。」逾越節的建立
Ye shall eat nothing leavened, in all your habitations ye shall eat unleavened bread.
21 梅瑟召集了以色列眾長老來，向他們說：「你去為你們的家屬準備一隻羊，宰殺作逾越節羔羊。
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, Draw out, and take to you lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover.
22 拿一束牛膝草蘸在盆中血裏，用盆中的血，塗在門楣和兩旁的門框上；你們中誰也不准離開自己的房門，直到早晨。
And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin, and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
23 因為上主要經過，擊殺埃及人；他一見門楣和兩門框上有血，就越過門，不容毀滅者進你們的房屋。
For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.
24 你們應遵守這規定，作為你們子孫的永遠法規。
And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons forever.
25 日後你們到了上主許給你們的地方，應守這禮。
And it shall come to pass, when ye have come to the land which Jehovah will give you, according as he has promised, that ye shall keep this service.
26 將來你們的子孫若問你們這禮有什麼意思，
And it shall come to pass, when your sons shall say to you, What do ye mean by this service?
27 你們應回答說：這是獻於上主的逾越節祭：當上主擊殺埃及人的時候，越過了在埃及的以色列子民的房屋，救了我們各家。」於是百姓都屈膝朝拜。
that ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of Jehovah's Passover, who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshiped.
28 以色列子民就去奉行了。上主怎樣吩咐了梅瑟和亞郎，他們就怎樣作了。第十災、殺長子
And the sons of Israel went and did so, as Jehovah had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
29 那天半夜，上主擊殺了埃及所有的長子，從坐寶座的法朗的長子，直到坐監者的長子，以及一切頭胎牲畜。
And it came to pass at midnight, that Jehovah smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle.
30 在這一夜，法朗，他所有的臣僕和全埃及人都起來；在埃及發生了大哀號，因為沒有一家不死人的。
And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians, and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31 夜間法朗召梅瑟和亞郎來說：「你們和以色列子民都起身離開我的百姓走罷! 照你們所要求的，去崇拜上主罷!
And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, get you forth from among my people, both ye and the sons of Israel, and go, serve Jehovah, as ye have said.
32 也照你們所要求的，帶著你的羊群牛群去罷! 也為我求祝福。」
Take both your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone, and bless me also.
33 埃及人催迫這百分姓趕快離開此地，因為他們說：「我們快要死盡! 」
And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, We are all dead men.
34 百姓便把沒有發酵的麵團和麵盆包在外衣內，背在肩上。
And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading-troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
35 以色列子民也照梅瑟所吩咐的作了，向埃及人要求金銀之物和衣服。
And the sons of Israel did according to the word of Moses, and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment.
36 上主使百姓在埃及人眼中蒙恩，給了他們所要求的；他們這樣劫奪了埃及人。以色列離埃及
And Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they despoiled the Egyptians.
37 以色列人民從辣默色斯起程向穌苛特進發。步行的男子約二十萬，家屬不算在內。
And the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot who were men, besides children.
38 同他們一起走的，還有很多外族人，也帶著自己的羊群、牛群和大批的牲畜。
And a mixed multitude also went up with them, and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
39 他們把從埃及帶出來的未發酵的面團烤成無酵餅，因為他們急迫離開埃及，不能耽擱，來不及準備行糧。
And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any provisions.
40 以色列子民居留埃及共有四百三十年。
Now the time that the sons of Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan was four hundred and thirty years.
41 四百三十年屆滿的那一天，上主的軍旅離開了埃及.。
And it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the armies of Jehovah went out from the land of Egypt.
42 這一夜是上主領他們出離埃及所守的一夜，這一夜也是以色列子民世世代代當守的一夜。參與逾越節宴的法律
It is a night to be much observed to Jehovah for bringing them out from the land of Egypt. This is that night of Jehovah, to be much observed of all the sons of Israel throughout their generations.
43 上主向梅瑟和亞郎說：「有關逾越節祭餐的法規如下：任何外方人不准參加這祭餐。
And Jehovah said to Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the Passover. There shall no foreigner eat of it,
44 凡用錢買來的奴隸，受過割損禮後，方可參加。
but every man's servant who is bought for money, when thou have circumcised him, then he shall eat of it.
45 旅客和傭工不得參加。
A sojourner and a hired servant shall not eat of it.
46 應在同一間房屋內吃盡，不可將肉塊帶到屋外，也不可將骨頭折斷。
In one house it shall be eaten. Thou shall not carry forth any of the flesh abroad out of the house, neither shall ye break a bone of it.
47 以色列全會眾都應舉行此祭餐。
All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48 若有同你在一起居住的外方人，願向上主舉行逾越節祭餐，他家所有的男子應受割損禮，然後才准前來參加，如本地人一樣；但未受割損禮的人決不許參加。
And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the Passover to Jehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it, and he shall be as one who is born in the land, but no uncircumcised man shall eat of it.
49 本地人和住在你們中間的外方人同屬一例。」
One law shall be to him who is home-born, and to the stranger who sojourns among you.
50 全以色列子民就都奉行。上主怎樣吩咐了梅瑟和亞郎，他們就怎樣作了。
Thus did all the sons of Israel, as Jehovah commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
51 就在這一天，上主將以色列子民一隊一隊地領出了埃及。
And it came to pass the selfsame day, that Jehovah brought the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
