申命記 23
1 凡外腎受傷或被閹割的人，不得進入上主的集會。
No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off may enter the assembly of YHWH.
2 私生子不得進入上主的集會；他的後代即便到了第十代，也不得進入上主的集會。
No one of illegitimate birth shall enter into the assembly of YHWH; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of YHWH.
3 阿孟人和摩阿布人不得進入上主的集會；他們的後代，即便到第十代，也永不得進入上主的集會；
An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of YHWH; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of YHWH forever:
4 因為當你們出離埃及時，他們沒有帶食物和水，在路上前來迎接你們；又因他們從美索不達米亞的培托爾，雇了貝熬爾的兒子巴郎來咒罵你；
because they did not meet you with bread and with water in the way, when you came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Aram Naharaim, to curse you.
5 但是上主你的天主不但不願聽從巴郎，上主你的天主反而將咒罵變為你的祝福，因為上主你的天主愛你。
Nevertheless YHWH your God wouldn't listen to Balaam; but YHWH your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because YHWH your God loved you.
6 你一生永遠不要為他們謀安寧和幸福。
You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days forever.
7 你不可憎恨厄東人，因為他是你的兄弟；也不可憎恨埃及人，因為你曾在他們國內做過僑民。
You shall not abhor an Edomite; for he is your brother: you shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land.
8 他們所生的子孫到了第三代，即能進入上主的集會。
The children of the third generation who are born to them shall enter into the assembly of YHWH.
9 幾時你出征紮營，攻打你的仇敵，應避免一切惡事。
When you go forth in camp against your enemies, then you shall keep yourselves from every evil thing.
10 你中間如有人夜間夢遺，即成為不潔，應走出營外，不可進入營內；
If there is among you any man who is not clean by reason of that which happens him by night, then shall he go outside of the camp. He shall not come within the camp:
11 傍晚時，應用水洗澡，日落時，才能進營。
but it shall be, when evening comes on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.
12 在營外應有廁所，你應去那裏便溺。
You shall have a place also outside of the camp, where you shall go outside there;
13 在你的武器中；應有一把鏟；當你在外便溺時，用它來掘坑，然後用以剷土掩蓋糞便。
and you shall have a spade among your tools; and it shall be, when you sit down outside, you shall dig therewith, and shall turn and cover that which comes from you:
14 因為上主你的天主在你營中往來，為救護你，將你的仇人交給你，所以你的營地應當聖潔，免得他在你那裏見到討厭的事，而離棄你。
for YHWH your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you, and to give up your enemies before you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in you, and turn away from you.
15 凡由主人逃到你這裏來的奴僕，你不應將他交給他的主人；
You shall not deliver to his master a servant who is escaped from his master to you:
16 他應在你中間與你同住，住在他自己所選的地方，住在他喜歡的一座城內；你不可欺負他。
he shall dwell with you, in the midst of you, in the place which he shall choose within one of your gates, where it pleases him best: you shall not oppress him.
17 以色列婦女中不可有人當廟妓，以色列男人中亦不可有人作廟倡。
There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sacred male prostitute of the children of Israel.
18 你不可賣淫的酬金和賣狗的代價，帶到上主你天主的殿內，還任何誓願，因為這兩樣於上主你的天主都是可憎惡的。
You shall not bring the hire of a prostitute, or the wages of a dog, into the house of YHWH your God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination to YHWH your God.
19 借給你兄弟銀錢、食物，或任何能生利之物，你不可取利。
You shall not lend on interest to your brother; interest of money, interest of food, interest of anything that is lent on interest:
20 對外方人你可取利，對你兄弟卻不可取利，好使上主你的天主在你要去佔領的地上，祝福你進行的一切事業。
to a foreigner you may lend on interest; but to your brother you shall not lend on interest, that YHWH your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it.
21 幾時你向上主你的天主許願，不要遲延還願，因為上主你的天主必向你追討，你就不免有罪了。
When you shall vow a vow to YHWH your God, you shall not be slack to pay it: for YHWH your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin in you.
22 如果你不許願，你就沒有罪。
But if you shall forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in you.
23 凡你口中說出來的，你應遵守；凡你親口說出向上主你的天主所許的願，你應執行。
That which is gone out of your lips you shall observe and do; according as you have vowed to YHWH your God, a freewill offering, which you have promised with your mouth.
24 幾時你進入你鄰人的葡萄園，你可隨意摘食葡萄，可以吃飽，但不可裝入你的器皿內。
When you come into your neighbor's vineyard, then you may eat of grapes your fill at your own pleasure; but you shall not put any in your vessel.
25 幾時你進入你鄰人的麥田，可以伸手摘麥穗，但不可在你鄰人的麥田內動鐮刀。
When you come into your neighbor's standing grain, then you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle to your neighbor's standing grain.
