歌羅西書 3
1 你們既然與基督一同復活了，就該追求天上的事，在那裡有基督坐在天主的右邊。
Furthermore, since you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, sitting at God's right;
2 你們該思念天上的事不該思念地上的事，
set your mind on the things above, not on those upon the earth,
3 因為你們已經死了，你們的生命已與基督一同藏在天主內了；
because you died and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.
4 當基督，我們的生命顯現時，那時你們也要與祂一同出現在光榮之中。
Whenever Christ, our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
5 為此，你們要致死屬於地上的妓體，致死淫亂、不潔、邪情、惡慾和無異於偶像崇拜的貪婪，
Therefore put to death your members that are on the earth: fornication, filthiness, passion, evil desire, and the greediness that is idolatry.
6 為了這一切，天主的義怒才降在悖逆之子身上；
Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of the disobedience,
7 當你們生活在其中時，你們也曾一度在其中行動過，
in which things you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
8 但是現在你們卻該戒絕這一切：忿怒、暴戾、惡意、詬罵和出於你們口中的穢言。
But now you must also rid yourselves of all these—anger, rage, malice, slander, obscene speech—out of your mouth.
9 不要彼此說謊；你們原已脫去了舊人和它的作為，
Do not lie to one another, since you have taken off the old man with his practices
10 且穿上了新人，這新人既是照創造他者的肖像而更新，為獲得新知識的；
and have put on the new one, who is being renewed into real knowledge according to the image of his Creator,
11 這一點上，已沒有希臘人或猶太人，受割損的或末受割損的，野蠻人、叔提雅人、奴隸、自由人的分別，而只有是一切並在一切內的基督。
where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all and in all.
12 為此，你們該如天主所揀選的，所愛的聖者，穿上憐憫的心腸、仁慈、謙卑、良善和含忍；
Therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, put on hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience;
13 如某人對某人有什麼怨的事，要彼此擔待，互相寬恕；就如主怎麼寬恕了你們，你們也要怎麼寬恕人。
bearing with one another and forgiving each other, if anyone should have a complaint against another—just as the Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
14 在這一切以上尤該有愛德，因為愛德是諸德的聯繫。
And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
15 還要叫基督的平安，在你們心中作主；你們所以蒙召存於一個身體內，也是為此，所以你們該有感恩之心。
Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, into which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 要讓基督的話充分地存在你們內，以各種智慧彼此教導規勸，以聖詠、詩詞和屬神的歌曲在你們的心內，懷著感恩之情，歌頌天主。
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing with grace in your heart to the Lord, with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.
17 你們無論做什麼，在言語上或行為上，一切都該因主耶穌的名而作，藉著祂感謝天主聖父。
Whatever you may do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
18 作妻子的，應該服從丈夫，如在主內所當行的。
Wives, subordinate yourselves to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 作丈夫的，應該愛妻子，不要苦待她們。
Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.
20 作子女的，應該事事聽從父母，因為這是上主所喜悅的。
Children, obey your parents in everything, because this is well pleasing in the Lord.
21 作父母的，不要激怒你們的子女，免得他們灰心喪志。
Fathers, do not provoke your children so that they lose heart.
22 作奴隸的，應該事事聽從肉身的主人，且不要只當著眼前服事，像是取悅於人，而是要以誠心，出於敬畏主。
Slaves, obey your masters (according to the flesh) in all things, not just when they are looking, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.
23 你們無論做什麼，都要從心裏去做，如同是為主，而不是為人，
And whatever you do, give it all you've got, as to the Lord and not to men,
24 因為你們該知道，你們要由主領取產業作為報酬；你們服事主基督罷！
knowing that it is from the Lord that you will receive the inheritance as a reward; because you serve the Lord Christ.
25 因為凡行不義的，必要得他所行不義的報應；天主決不看情面。
(But he who does wrong will be repaid for this wrong, and there is no favoritism.)
