提摩太後書 4
1 我在天主和那要審判生死者的基督耶穌前，指著衪的顯現和衪的國，懇求你
I give this solemn command before God and Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and because of his appearing and his kingdom:
2 務要宣講真道，不論順境逆境，總要堅持不變；以百般的忍耐和各樣的教訓去反駁，去責斥，去勸勉。
Preach the word; be ready when it is convenient and when it is not. Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching.
3 因為時刻將到，那時人不接受健全的道理，反而耳朵發癢，順從自己的情慾，為自己攏聚許多師傅；
For the time will come when people will not endure sound teaching. Instead, they will heap up for themselves teachers according to their own desires, who say what their itching ears want to hear.
4 且掩耳不聽真理，偏去聽那無稽的傳說。
They will turn their hearing away from the truth, and they will turn aside to myths.
5 至於你，在一切事上務要慬慎，忍受堅苦，作傳揚福音的工作，完成你的職務。
But you, be sober-minded in all things. Suffer hardship; do the work of an evangelist; fulfill your service.
6 因為我已被奠祭，我離世的時期已經近了。
For I am already being poured out. The time of my departure has come.
7 這場好仗，我已打完；這場賽跑，我已跑到終點，這信仰，我已保持了。
I have competed in the good contest; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith.
8 從今以後，正義的冠冕已為我預備下了，就是主，正義的審判者，到那一日必要賞給我，不但賞給我，也賞給一切愛慕衪顯現的人。
The crown of righteousness has been reserved for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day, and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
9 你要趕快到我這裏來，
Do your best to come to me quickly.
For Demas has left me. He loves this present world and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens went to Galatia, and Titus went to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 只有路加同我在一起。你要帶著馬爾谷脰你一起來，因為他在職務為我是有用的。
Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you because he is useful to me in the work.
12 至於提希苛，我派他到厄弗所去了。
Tychicus I sent to Ephesus.
13 我留在特洛阿卡爾頗家中的那件外衣，你來時務必帶上，還有那幾卷書，尤其那幾些羊皮卷。
The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, bring it when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.
14 銅匠亞歷山大使我受許多苦，主將照他所行的報應他。
Alexander the coppersmith displayed many evil deeds against me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds.
15 這人你也要加意提防，因為他極力反抗我們的道理。
You also should guard yourself against him, because he greatly opposed our words.
16 在我初次堂時，沒有人在我身邊旁，眾人都都離棄了我，我願天主不歸罪於他們!
At my first defense, no one stood with me. Instead, everyone left me. May it not be counted against them.
17 但是主卻在我左右，堅固了我，使福音的宣講藉著我而完成，使一切外邦人都能聽見；我也從獅子口中疲救了出來。
But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me so that, through me, the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear it; and that I was rescued out of the lion's mouth.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and will save me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

21 你要趕快在冬天以前來到。歐步羅、普登、理諾、克勞狄雅和所有的弟兄都問候你。
Do your best to come before winter. Eubulus greets you, also Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
22 主與你的心靈同在! 願恩寵與你們同在。
May the Lord be with your spirit. May grace be with you.
