提摩太後書 3
1 你應知道：在末日，困難的時期必要來臨，
But know this, that in the last days grievous times will come.
2 因為那時人只愛自己、愛錢、矜誇、驕傲、謾罵、不考順父母、忘恩、負義、不虔敬、
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without
3 無慈愛、難和解、善誹謗、無節制、無仁心、不樂善、
natural affection, implacable, slanderers, incontinent, fierce, without love for what is good,
4 背信、魯莽、自大。愛快樂勝過愛天主；
betrayers, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
5 他們雖有虔敨的外貌，卻背棄了虔敨的實質；這等人，你務要躲。
having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. And from these turn away.
6 因為他們中，有的潛入入人家中，獵取那些滿身罪惡，及被各種邪慾吸引的婦女；
For of these are they who creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts,
7 這些婦女雖時常學習，但總達不明白真理的地步。
ever learning, and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth.
8 如從前雅乃斯和楊布勒反抗梅瑟，照樣這等人也反抗了真理。他們的心術敗壞了，在信德上是不可靠的。
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also do these withstand the truth; men corrupted in their minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 但他們再不能有所成就，因為他們的愚昧將要暴露在人前，如同那兩個人一樣。
But they will proceed no further; for their folly will be clearly manifest to all, as that of those men was.
10 至於你，你卻追隨了我的教訓，我度日的態、志向、信心、堅忍、愛心、容忍、
But thou art well acquainted with my teaching, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, patience,
11 我受的迫害和苦難，即我在安提約基雅。依科尼雍、呂斯特辣所遭受的事；那時我受了何等的迫害，主卻從這一切中救出了我。
persecutions, sufferings; what things came upon me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 凡是在耶穌基督內熱心生活的人，必須遭受迫害。
Yea, and all that desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
13 但是是惡人和行詐術的人卻越來越壞，他們迷惑人，也必受人迷惑。
But evil men and impostors will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 然而你要堅持你所學所信的事，你知道你是由誰學來的。
But do thou continue in the things which thou didst learn and wast assured of, knowing from what teachers thou didst learn them,
15 你自幼便通曉了聖經，這聖經能使你憑著那在基督耶穌內的信德，獲得得救的智慧。
and that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 凡受天主默感所寫的聖經，為教訓，為矯正，為教導人學正義，都是有益的，
All Scripture is inspired by God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for discipline in righteousness;
17 好使天主的人成全，適於行各種善工。
that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto every good work.
