帖撒羅尼迦後書 3
1 此外，弟兄們，請為我們，好叫主的聖道也像在你們那裏一樣，順利展開，並得到光榮；
Henceforth, brethren, pray ye for us, that the word of our Lord may, in every place, run and be glorified, as with you;
2 也叫我們脫離壞人和惡人，因為不是人人都信德。
and that we may be delivered from evil and perverse men; for faith is not in all.
3 主是忠信的，衪必堅固你們；保獲你們免於凶惡。
And faithful is the Lord, who will keep you and rescue you from the evil One.
4 我們在主內信賴你們；你們既然現今實行了我們所吩咐的，q也必實行。
And we have confidence in you, through our Lord, that what we have inculcated on you, ye both have done, and will do.
5 主指行你們的心去愛天主並學習基督的堅忍。
And may our Lord direct your hearts to the love of God, and to a patient waiting for the Messiah.
6 弟兄們，因我們的主耶穌基督的名，吩咐你們，要遠離一切游手好閒，或不按得自我們的傳授生活的弟兄。
And we enjoin upon you, my brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, that ye withdraw from every brother who walketh wickedly, and not according to the precepts which ye received from us.
7 你們原來知道該怎麼效法我們，因為我們在你們中沒有閒，
For ye know how ye ought to imitate us, who did not walk wickedly among you.
8 也沒有白吃過人的飯，而是黑夜白日辛苦勤勞地操作，免得加重你們任何人的負擔。
Neither did we eat bread gratuitously from any of you; but, with toil and weariness, we labored by night and by day, that we might not be burdensome to any of you.
9 這不是我們沒有權利，而是為以身作則，給你們立榜樣，叫你們效法我們；
It was not because we have no authority, but that we might give you an example in ourselves, that ye might imitate us.
10 並且當我們在你們那裏的時候，早已吩咐過你們：誰若不願意工作，就不應當吃飯，
And while we were with you, we also gave you this precept, That every one who would not work, should likewise not eat.
11 因為我們聽說你們中有些人游手好閒，什麼也不作，卻好管閒事。
For we hear, there are some among you who walk wickedly, and do nothing except vain things.
12 我們因主耶穌基督吩咐這樣的人，並勸勉他們安靜工作，吃自己的飯。
Now such persons, we command and exhort, by our Lord Jesus the Messiah, that in quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 致於你們，弟兄們，行善總不可懈怠。
And my brethren, let it not be wearisome to you, to do what is good.
14 但是如果有人，不聽從我們書信上的話，應把這人記出，不要與他交際來往，好叫他慚愧；
And if any one hearkeneth not to these my words in this epistle, separate that man from you, and have no intimacy with him, that he may be ashamed.
15 可是不要把他當仇敵看待，但要把他當弟兄規勸。
Yet, hold him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16 願賜平安的主，親自時時處處賜給你們平安! 願主與你們眾人同在!
And may the Lord of peace give you peace, always, in every thing. Our Lord be with you all.
17 我保祿問候，這是我每封信的記號；這是我的字體。
The salutation in the writing of my own hand, I Paul have written it; which is the token in all my epistles, so I write.
18 願我們的主耶穌基督的恩寵與你們眾人同在!
The grace of Jesus the Messiah be with you all, my brethren. Amen.
