哥林多前書 2
1 弟兄們，就是我從前到你們那裡時，也沒有用高超的言論或智慧，給你們宣講天主的奧義，
When I came to you, brothers, I did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom.
2 因為我曾決定，在你們中不知道別的，只知道耶穌基督，這被釘在十字架上的耶穌基督；
For I resolved to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
3 而且當我們到你們那裡的時候，又軟弱，又恐懼，又戰懼不安；
I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.
4 並且我的言論和我的宣講，並不在於智慧動聽的言辭，而是在於聖神和祂德能的表現，
And my word and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 為使你們的信德不是憑人的智慧，而是憑天主的德能。
so that your faith would not be based on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
Now we speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing. (aiōn g165)
On the contrary, we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a mystery, which God foreordained for our glory before time began. (aiōn g165)
None of the rulers of this age understood this wisdom, for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
9 經上這樣記載說：『天主為愛祂的人所準備的，是眼所未見，耳所未聞，心所未想到的。』
But, as it is written, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
10 可是又主藉著聖神將這一切啟示給我們了，因為聖神洞察一切，就連天主的深奧事理也洞悉。
Now God has revealed these things to us through his Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
11 除了人內裏的心神外，有誰能知道那人的事呢？同樣，除了天主聖神外，誰也不能明瞭天主的事。
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 我們所領受的，不是這世界的精神，而是出於天主的聖神，為使我們能明瞭天主所賜與我們的一切。
Now we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we might understand what God has freely given us.
13 為此，我們宣講，並不用人的智慧所教的言詞，而是用聖神所教的言詞，給屬神的人講論屬神的事。
We speak about this, not with words taught by human wisdom but with words taught by the Holy Spirit, interpreting spiritual things to spiritual people.
14 然而屬血氣的人，不能領受天主聖神的事，因為為他是愚妄；他也不能領悟，因為這些事只有藉聖神才可審斷。
The natural man does not accept what comes from the Spirit of God, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it because it is spiritually discerned.
15 惟有屬神的人能審斷一切，但他卻不為任何人所審斷。
But he who is spiritual makes judgments about all things, and yet he himself is not subject to any man's judgment.
16 經上說：『誰知道上主的心意，去指教祂呢？』可是我們有基督的心意。
“For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to advise him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
