The sons of Ham: Cush, and Misrayim, Put, and Canaan.
9 雇士的子孫；色巴、哈威拉、撒貝達、辣阿瑪和撒貝特加。辣阿瑪的子孫：舍巴和德丹。
And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Chavilah, and Sabta, and Ra'mah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Ra'mah: Sheba, and Dedan.
10 雇士生尼默洛得；他是世界上第一個強人。
And Cush begat Nimrod: this one began to be a mighty man upon the earth.
11 米茲辣殷生路丁人、阿納明人、肋哈賓人、納斐突歆人、
And Mizrayim begat the Ludim, and there the 'Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuchim,
12 帕特洛斯人、加斯路人和加非托爾人，即培肋舍特的祖先。
And the Pathrussim, and the Cassluchim, of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphthorim.
13 克納罕生長子漆冬，次為赫特、
And Canaan begat Zidon, his first-born, and Heth.

And the Jebusite, and the Emorite, and the Girgashite,
15 希威人、阿爾克人、息尼人、
And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 阿爾瓦得人、責瑪黎人和哈瑪特人。
And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Chamathite.
17 閃的子孫：厄藍、亞述、阿帕革沙得、路得、阿蘭。阿蘭的子孫：伍茲胡耳、革特爾和默舍客。
The sons of Shem: 'Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and 'Uz, and Chul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 阿帕革沙得生舍特，舍特生厄貝爾。
And Arpachshad begat Shelach, and Shelach begat 'Eber.
19 厄貝爾生了兩個兒子：長子名叫培肋格，因為在他的時代，世界分裂了；他的兄弟明叫約刻堂。
And unto 'Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Chazarmaveth, and Jerach,
21 哈多蘭、烏匝耳、狄刻拉、
And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 厄巴耳、阿彼瑪耳、舍巴、
And 'Ebal and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 敖非爾、哈威拉和約巴布：這些人都是約刻堂的子孫。
And Ophir, and Chavilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 閃阿帕革沙得、舍拉、
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelach,
25 厄貝爾、培肋格、勒伍、
'Eber, Peleg, Re'u,
26 色魯格、納曷爾、特辣黑、
Serug, Nachor, Terach,
27 亞巴郎即亞貝辣罕。[亞巴郎的後代]
Abram, the same is Abraham.
28 亞巴郎的兒子是依撒格和依市瑪耳。
The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishma'el.
29 以下是他們的後裔：依市瑪耳的長子是乃巴約特，次為刻達爾、阿德貝米、米貝散、
These are their generations: The first-born of Ishma'el, Nebayoth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

Mishma', and Dumah, Massa, Chadad, and Thema,
31 耶突爾、納菲士和刻德瑪：以上是依市瑪耳的兒子。
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishma'el.
32 亞巴郎的妾刻突辣所生的兒子：齊默郎、約刻商、默丹、米德楊、依市巴克和叔哈；約刻商的兒子：舍巴和德丹。
And the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Yishbak, and Shuach. And the sons Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
33 米德楊的兒子：厄法、厄斐爾、哈諾客、阿彼達和厄耳達阿：以上都是刻突辣的子孫。
And the sons of Midian: 'Ephah, and 'Epher, and Chanoch, and Abida', and Elda'ah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
34 亞巴郎生依撒格；依撒格生厄撒烏和以色列。
And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
35 厄撒烏的兒子：厄里法次、勒烏耳、耶烏士、雅藍和科辣黑。
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Re'uel, and Ye'ush, and Ya'lam, and Korach.
36 厄里法次的子孫：特曼、敖瑪爾、則非、加堂、刻納次、提默納和阿瑪肋克。
The sons of Eliphaz: Theman, and Omar, Zephi, and Ga'tam, Kenas, and Thimna', and 'Amalek.
37 勒烏耳的子孫：納哈特、則辣黑、沙瑪和米匝。[色依爾的後裔]
The sons of Re'uel: Nachath, Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 色依爾的子孫：羅堂、芍巴耳、漆貝紅、阿納、狄雄、厄責爾和狄商。
And the sons of Se'ir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zib'on, and 'Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 羅堂的兒子：曷黎和曷曼；羅堂的姊妹：提默納。
And the sons of Lotan: Chori, and Homam: and the sister of Lotan: Thimna'.
40 芍巴耳的兒子：阿里楊、瑪納哈特、厄巴耳、舍非和敖南。漆貝紅的兒子：阿雅和阿納。
The sons of Shobal: 'Alyan, and Manachath, and 'Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zib'on: 'Ayah, and 'Anah.
41 阿納的兒子：狄雄；狄雄的兒子：哈默郎、厄市班、依特郎和革郎。
The sons of 'Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Chamran, and Eshban, and Yithran, and Cheran.
42 厄責爾的兒子：彼耳漢、匝汪和阿甘。狄商的兒子：伍茲和阿郎。[厄東的君王]
The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Za'avan, and Ja'akan. The sons of Dishan: 'Uz, and Aran.
43 以下是在以色列子民未有君王統治以前，統治厄東地的君王：貝敖爾的兒子貝拉；他的京城名叫丁哈巴。
And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela' the son of Be'or; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 貝拉死後，波責辣人則辣黑的兒子約巴布繼他為王。
And Bela' died, and there reigned in his stead Jobab the son of Zerach of Bozrah.
45 約巴布死後，特曼地人胡商繼他為王。
And Jobab died, and there reigned in his stead Chusham of the land of Theman.
46 胡商死後，貝達得的兒子哈達得繼他為王。他曾在摩阿布平原擊敗了米德楊人；他的京城名叫阿威特。
And Chusham died and there reigned in his stead Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab; and the name of his city was 'Avith.
47 哈達得死後，瑪斯勒卡人撒默拉繼他為王。
And Hadad died, and there reigned in his stead Samlah of Massrekah.
48 撒默拉死後，河間的勒曷波特人沙烏耳繼他為王。
And Samlah died, and there reigned in his stead Saul of Rechoboth by the river.
49 沙烏耳死後，阿革波爾的兒子巴耳哈南繼他為王。
And Saul died, and there reigned in his stead Ba'al-chanan the son of 'Achbor.
50 巴耳哈南死後，哈達得繼他為王，他的京城名叫帕依，他的妻子名叫默塔貝耳，是默匝哈布人瑪特勒得的女兒。[厄東的族長]
And Ba'al-chanan died, and there reigned in his stead Hadad; and the name of his city was Pa'i; and the name of his wife was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
51 哈達得死後，為厄東族長的是：提默納族長，阿里雅族長，耶太特族長，
Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were: Thimna', duke 'Alvah, duke Jetheth,
52 敖曷里巴族長，厄拉族長，丕農足長，
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 刻納次族長，特曼族長，米貝匝爾族長，
Duke Kenas, duke Theman, duke Mibzar,
54 瑪革狄耳族長和依蘭族長：以上是厄東的族長。
Duke Magdiel, duke 'Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
