Zekhariah 4
1 Kai hoi ka pato roi e kalvantami ni bout a tho teh ka ip e pâhlaw e patetlah kai hah na pâhlaw.
And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
2 Nang bangmaw na hmu telah na pacei navah kai ni ka khet nah sui hoi sak e hmaiimkhok ka hmu. Sui hmaiimkhok e asawi vah satui hlaam buet touh, hmaiim sari touh, satui hlaam hoi hmaiim sari touh patawp e khom sari touh ao.
And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3 Satui hlaam e aranglah olivekung buet touh, avoilah olivekung buet touh, hmai khawm ka ramuk e olivekung kahni touh ao.
And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4 Kai hoi ka pato roi e kalvantami hanelah ka bawipa hete hnonaw heh bangnaw ne telah ka pacei nah,
So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
5 Kai hoi ka pato roi e kalvantami ni, hete hnonaw heh bangnaw maw tie na panuek hoeh maw telah na pacei navah, kai ni ka panuek hoeh ka bawipa telah ka ti pouh.
Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
6 Kalvantami ni hai Zerubbabel koe ka tho e Cathut e lawk teh, hete hno teh ransahu lahoi nahoeh, hnosakthainae lahoi hai nahoeh, kaie Muitha lahoi doeh tho ti telah ransahu BAWIPA ni a ti.
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of Yhwh unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith Yhwh of Armies.
7 Oe, monpui, nang teh bangtelamaw, Zerubbabel e a hmalah kânging e hmuen lah na o han. Taminaw ni na lungma a naseh. Lungmanae awm naseh telah a hram teh, hote bawi ni im takin a som vah talung a pacoung han.
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8 BAWIPA e lawk kai koe bout ka tho e teh,
Moreover the word of Yhwh came unto me, saying,
9 Zerubbabel ni hete impui e khomdu a ung toe. Ahni niyah a cum han. ransahu BAWIPA ni kai heh nangmouh onae koe na patoun e hah na panue awh han.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that Yhwh of Armies hath sent me unto you.
10 Hno kathoengca saknae hnin heh apinimaw noutna laipalah ao han. Zerubbabel e a kut dawk bangnuenae rui ao e hah, hote sari touh ni a hmu awh torei teh, a lunghawi awh han. Hote sari touh teh talai van atunglah akalah ka yawng e BAWIPA e a mit naw doeh telah a ti.
For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of Yhwh, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11 Kai ni hai hmaiimkhok kahni touh e avoilah aranglah kaawm e olivekung kahni touh hah bangtelamaw telah thoseh,
Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the lampstand and upon the left side thereof?
12 Satui racinae sui tuilo kahni touh hoi amamae satui awinae olivekung kahni touh haiyah bangne telah ka pacei navah,
And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 Kalvantami ni hote akangnaw na panuek awh hoeh na maw telah na pacei nah kai ni ka panuek hoeh telah ka ti pouh.
And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Kalvantami ni hai hote akungnaw teh talai kaukkung bawi e a hmalah kangdout e satui awi e tami kahni touh doeh a ti.
Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
