Zekhariah 11
1 Oe Lebanon mon, nange anrikungnaw hah hmai a kak nahanelah, na takhangnaw hah paawng haw.
Open, O Lebanon, your doors, And fire devours among your cedars.
2 Oe hmaicakung, anri kung a kamlei dawkvah khui haw. Thingkung aphu kaawmnaw teh koung a rawp toe. Oe kathenkungnaw, ratu dawk e thingkung dungradungnaw hai koung a rawp dawkvah khui haw.
Howl, O fir, for the cedar has fallen, For their majestic ones were destroyed, Howl, you oaks of Bashan, For the enclosed forest has come down,
3 Tukhoumnaw ni yeirai aphu awh dawkvah a khui awh. Jordan tuipui e bawilennae a ro dawkvah sendeknaw a huk e pawlawk thai lah ao.
A voice of the howling of the shepherds! For their robe of honor was destroyed, A voice of the roaring of young lions! For the excellence of Jordan was destroyed.
4 Kaie Jehovah Cathut ni a dei e teh, thei hanlah hmoun e hete tuhu naw hah kawk lah.
Thus said my God YHWH: “Feed the flock of the slaughter,
5 Katawnkungnaw ni a thei awh teh ka yon tie kâpanuek awh hoeh. Kayawtnaw ni hai ka hmu thai e doeh ati awh teh BAWIPA teh yawhawinae awm naseh telah ati awh. Tukhoumnaw ni hai pahrenlungmanae tawn awh hoeh.
Whose buyers slay them, and are not guilty, And their sellers say, Blessed [is] YHWH, And I am rich, And their shepherds have no pity on them.
6 BAWIPA ni a dei e teh, Kai ni khocaramca naw bout ka pahren mahoeh. Pasai laipalah taminaw hah a imri naw e a kut dawk thoseh, siangpahrang e a kut dawk thoseh, ka hnawng vaiteh, ahnimouh ni ram pueng teh a rektap awh han. Ahnimae a kut dawk hoi kahlout sak mahoeh a ti.
For I no longer have pity on inhabitants of the land, A declaration of YHWH, And behold, I am causing man to come forth, Each into the hand of his neighbor, And into the hand of his king, And they have beaten down the land, And I do not deliver out of their hand.”

And I feed the flock of slaughter, even you, you afflicted of the flock; and I take two staffs to myself; I have called one Pleasantness, and I have called the other Bands, and I feed the flock.
8 Tukhoumkung kathum touh hai thapa yung touh dawk koung ka raphoe. Ahnimouh kecu dawk ka lungsaw thai hoeh. Ahnimouh ni hai kai teh na panuet awh.
And I cut off the three shepherds in one month, and my soul is grieved with them, and also their soul has abhorred me.
9 Nangmouh teh bout na kawk awh mahoeh. Kadout e teh dout yawkaw naseh. Thei lah kaawm e hai thet a yawkaw naseh. Kacawie naw hai buet touh hoi buet touh kâkei a na yawkaw seh, telah a ti.
And I say, “I do not feed you, the dying, let die; and the cut off, let be cut off; and the remaining ones, let each eat the flesh of its neighbor.”
10 Miphun puenghoi sak e lawkkamnae hah raphoe hanlah ka ngai dawkvah sonron meihawi ka la teh ka khoe.
And I take my staff Pleasantness, and cut it apart, to make void my covenant that I had made with all the peoples:
11 Hote lawkkamnae teh hat hnin vah a ro dawkvah Kai na kâuep e ka roedeng e tunaw teh BAWIPA lawk a thai panuek awh.
and it is broken in that day, and the afflicted of the flock who are observing me know well, that it [is] a word of YHWH.
12 Hahoi, Kai ni ka hmu hane kamcu e aphu poe hanelah nangmouh ni na ngai awh pawiteh, poe awh. Na ngai awh hoehpawiteh poe awh hanh telah ati teh, ahnimouh ni kai aphu na poe awh hanelah ngun tangka 30 touh a nue awh.
And I say to them: “If good in your eyes, give my hire, and if not, refrain”; and they weigh out my hire—thirty pieces of silver.
13 BAWIPA ni hote tangka teh hlaamkabonaw e hmalah tâkhawng pouh haw. Kai hanlah aphu na khoe a e tangka teh ek apap ati awh e patetlah, hote ngun tangka 30 touh hah ka la teh, BAWIPA e im dawk hlaamkabonaw e hmalah ka tâkhawng pouh.
And YHWH says to me, “Cast it to the potter”; the good price that I have been prized at by them, and I take the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them [into] the house of YHWH, to the potter.
14 Hat navah, Judah miphun hoi Isarel miphun huiko kamyawngnae raphoe ngainae kecu dawkvah sonron alouke hah ka la teh ka khoe.
And I cut apart my second staff, Bands, To break the unity between Judah and Israel.
15 Hathnukkhu, BAWIPA niyah ka pathu e tukhoumkung e hnopainaw hah lat haw.
And YHWH says to me, “Again take to yourself the instrument of a foolish shepherd.
16 Bangkongtetpawiteh, hote ram dawk tukhoumkung buet touh ka tâco sak han. Ahni ni thei lah kaawm e tu hah khenyawn mahoeh. Lam ka phen e hah tawng hoeh. Ka dam hoeh e a dam nahanlah khenyawn hoeh. Kangdout e kabawm hoeh. Kathâw e naw hah a ca han. A khoksamen hai a khoe pouh awh han.
For behold, I am raising up a shepherd in the land, The cut off he does not inspect, The shaken off he does not seek, And the broken he does not heal, The standing he does not sustain, And the flesh of the fat he eats, And their hooves he breaks off.
17 Tuhu hah ka pahnawt e ayawmyin e tukhoumkung teh a yawthout naseh. Ahnie a kut hoi aranglae mit dawkvah tahloi hoi hmâ a ca han. A kut thasainae teh khak a ke han. Aranglae mit hai a dawn han telah a ti.
Woe [to] the worthless shepherd, forsaking the flock, A sword [is] on his arm, and on his right eye, His arm is utterly dried up, And his right eye is very dim!”
