1 Hatdawkvah atuteh Khrih Jisuh thung kaawm e naw pueng, yonphukhangnae awm mahoeh toe.
Hence there is now, no, condemnation unto them who are in Christ Jesus;
2 Bangkongtetpawiteh Khrih Jisuh thung kaawm e hringnae Muitha phung ni yon duenae phung thung hoi kai teh hlout sak lah ka o toe.
For, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, hath set thee free from the law of sin and of death; —
3 Cathut ni amae Capa hah yon kakawi e takthai lah yon kecu dawk a patoun teh, takthai dawk yon hah lawk a ceng teh, takthai lahoi kâlawk ni a sak thai hoeh e hah na sak pouh toe.
For, what was impossible by the law in that it was weak through the flesh, God, by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,
4 Het hateh takthai ngainae laipalah, Muitha ngainae patetlah ka hring e maimouh koe kâlawk phung pathang e a kuep nahane doeh.
In order that, the righteous requirement of the law, might be fulfilled in us—who, not according to flesh, do walk, but according to spirit;
5 Takthai coungnae hoi hring han ka ngai e taminaw teh takthai coungnae naw hah a ngailem awh. Muitha ngainae patetlah ka hring e taminaw teh Muitha hoi kâkuen e naw hah a ngailem awh.
For, they who according to flesh have their being, the things of the flesh do prefer, but, they according to the spirit, the things of the spirit;
6 Takthai e pouknae teh duenae doeh. Muitha e pouknae teh hringnae hoi lungmawngnae doeh.
For, what is preferred by the flesh, [is] death, whereas, what is preferred by the spirit, [is] life and peace; —
7 Bangtelah tetpawiteh takthai coungnae lungthin teh Cathut hoi kâtaran e lah ao. Bangkongtetpawiteh hote lungthin ni Cathut e kâlawk ngainae awmhoeh. Atangcalah tarawi thai hoeh.
Inasmuch as, what is preferred by the flesh, [is] hostile towards God, for, unto the law of God, it doth not submit itself, neither in fact can it.—
8 Hatdawkvah takthai lahoi kahringnaw ni Cathut lungkuep sak thai hoeh.
They, moreover, who in flesh have their being, cannot please, God.
9 Hatei, Cathut Muitha nangmouh thung awm pawiteh nangmouh teh takthai dawk laipalah Muitha dawk na o awh. Khrih Muitha ka tawn hoeh e tami teh Khrih e tami nahoeh.
But, ye, have not your being in flesh, but in spirit, —if at least, God’s Spirit, dwelleth in you; and, if anyone hath not Christ’s Spirit, the same, is not his; —
10 Hatei Khrih teh nangmae thungvah awm pawiteh takthai teh yon kecu kadout nakunghai muitha teh lannae kecu dawk a hring han.
But, if Christ is in you, the body, indeed, is dead by reason of sin, whereas, the spirit, is life by reason of righteousness;
11 Hothloilah Jisuh hah duenae koehoi kathawsakkung Cathut e Muitha teh nangmae thungvah awm pawiteh, Khrih hah duenae koehoi ka thaw sak e Cathut ni nangmouh thung kaawm e amae Muitha lahoi kadout thai e nangmae tak hai a hring sak han.
If, moreover, the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from among the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised from among the dead Christ Jesus, shall make alive [even] your death-doomed bodies, through means of his indwelling Spirit within you.
12 Hatdawkvah hmaunawnghanaw, maimouh teh takthai ngainae patetlah hring hanelah, takthai coungnae dawk san lah awm awh hoeh.
Hence, then, brethren—debtors, we are, not unto the flesh, that, according to flesh, we should live, —
13 Bangkongtetpawiteh, nangmouh teh takthai ngainae patetlah na hring awh pawiteh, na due awh han. Hatei Muitha ngainae lahoi takthai ni a tawksak e naw hah na dout sak awh pawiteh na hring awh han.
For, if according to flesh ye live, ye are about to die, whereas, if in spirit, the practices of the flesh, ye are putting to death, ye shall attain unto life;
14 A lamthung teh Cathut Muitha ni a hrawi e naw pueng teh Cathut e canaw lah o awh.
For, as many as by God’s Spirit are being led, the same, are God’s sons, —
15 Nangmanaw teh bout ka taket thai e san muitha na coe a hoeh. Cacoungnae Muitha doeh na coe awh. Hote muitha dawk hoi Abba Apa telah maimouh ni kaw awh.
For ye have not received a spirit of servitude, leading back into fear, but ye have received a spirit of sonship, whereby we are exclaiming—Abba! Oh Father!
16 Maimanaw ni Cathut e canaw lah onae teh Muitha ama roeroe ni maimanaw e muitha hoi cungtalah a kampangkhai.
The Spirit itself, beareth witness together with our spirit that we are children of God;
17 Hottelah a canaw lah awm awh toung pawiteh a râw ka pang e lahai o awh. Khrih hoi a bawilennae rei hmawng nahanelah, reithainae hai rei khang awh pawiteh, Cathut e a râw ka pang hanelah hai o awh.
And, if children, heirs also—heirs, indeed, of God, but co-heirs with Christ, —if, at least, we are suffering together, in order that we may also be glorified together.
18 Atu mithmu vah reihaithainae naw pueng teh maimouh ni pang lah kaawm hane bawilennae hoi bangnue pawiteh dei han kamcu hoeh telah ka pouk.
For I reckon that unworthy are the sufferings of the present season to be compared with the glory about to be revealed towards us;
19 Hete sak e hno cawngca ni Cathut e canaw a kamnue nahane hah doun laihoi a ngaihawi awh.
For, the eager outlook of creation, ardently awaiteth the revealing of the sons of God, —
20 Bangkongtetpawiteh, sak e hno cawngca pueng teh banglahai cungkeihoeh toe tie teh ama ngai lahoi nahoeh, hottelah kahruengkung ngainae lahoi doeh.
For, unto vanity, hath creation been made subject—not by choice, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope
21 Sak e hno cawngca pueng teh kamkonae dawk hoi a hlout teh, Cathut e a canaw e bawilennae hoi ka kuep e dawkvah a kâen han tie ngaihawinae ao dawk doeh.
That, creation itself also, shall be freed—from the bondage of the decay into the freedom of the glory of the sons of God;
22 A sak e hno cawngca pueng teh atu totouh a cingou teh ca khe reithainae a khang tie hah panue awh.
For we know that, all creation, is sighing together, and travailing-in-birth-throes together until the present, —
23 Hothloilah Muitha e a luepaw hmaloe ka coe e maimouh nihaiyah cacoungnae tie maimae takthai ratangnae hah ngaihawi laihoi lungthung vah cingou awh.
And, not only so, but, we ourselves, also, who have the first-fruit of the Spirit—[we] even ourselves, within our own selves do sigh, —sonship ardently awaiting—the redeeming of our body; —
24 Maimouh teh hete ngaihawinae ni rungngang lah na o sak. Hatei hmu thai e hateh ngaihawinae nahoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, apinimaw hmuthai e hno hah khuet bout a ngaihawi han vaw.
For, by our hope, have we been saved, —but, hope beheld, is not hope, for, what one beholdeth, why doth he hope for?
25 Hmuthaihoehe maimouh ni ngaihawi awh pawiteh hote hno hah panguep lahoi ngaihawi awh.
If, however, what we do not behold we hope for, with endurance, are we ardently awaiting [it]; —
26 Hot patetvanlah Muitha nihaiyah maimae thayounnae koe na kabawp awh. Maimouh ni ratoum hane patetlah bang patet e hno maw ka ratoum han tie panuek awh hoeh. Hatei, Muitha ama roeroe ni lawk hoi a pâpho thai hoeh e cingounae lahoi maimouh hanlah na hei pouh.
In the selfsame way moreover, even the Spirit, helpeth together in our weakness, —for, what we should pray for as we ought, we know not, but, the Spirit itself, maketh intercession with sighings unutterable,
27 Lungthin ka khen e Bawipa ni hai Muitha e lungthin hah a panue. Bangkongtetpawiteh Muitha ni Cathut ngainae patetlah tami kathoungnaw hanelah na hei pouh awh.
And, he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what is preferred by the Spirit—that, according to God, he maketh intercession in behalf of saints;
28 Cathut ni a lungpataw teh, a pouk tangcoung e patetlah a kaw e naw hanelah, hnocawngca pueng ni hawinae koe lah doeh reirei a kâroe pouh tie teh panue awh.
We know, further, that, unto them who love God, God causeth all things to work together for good, —unto them who, according to purpose, are such as he hath called;
29 Bangkongtetpawiteh, A panue tangcoung e naw hah amae Capa mei kâlat lah sut a hmoun toe. Hethateh hmaunawnghanaw thung dawk camin lah ao nahane doeh.
For, whom he fore-approved, he also fore-appointed to be conformed unto the image of his Son, that he might be firstborn among many brethren, —
30 Hottelah sut a hmoun e naw hah ama ni a kaw teh, a kaw e naw hah a lansak, a lansak e naw hah a bawilen sak.
And, whom he fore-appointed, the same, he also called, and, whom he called, the same, he also declared righteous, and, whom he declared righteous, the same, he also made glorious: —
31 Telah boipawiteh hete hnonaw pueng khetsin hoi bangtelamaw dei han. Cathut maimouh koelah kampang pawiteh apinimaw maimouh na tuk thai han.
What, then, shall we say to a these things? If God [is] for us, who [shall be] against us?
32 A Capa patenghai pasai laipalah maimouh hanlah na kapoekung ni a Capa hoi cungtalah hnocawngca pueng teh poe laipalah ao han na maw.
He, at least, who his own Son did not spare, but in behalf of us all delivered him up, how shall he not also, with him, all things upon us in favour bestow?
33 Cathut ni a rawi tangcoung e naw teh apinimaw yon a pen han. Na lan toe katetkung teh Cathut a ma doeh toe.
Who shall bring an accusation against the chosen ones of God? God, who declareth righteous?
34 Apinimaw yon phu bout na khang sak han. A due dueng laipalah duenae koehoi ka thaw e Khrih Jisuh teh Cathut e aranglah ao teh, maimouh hanelah na ratoum pouh awh.
Who is he that condemneth? Christ [Jesus] who died?—Nay! rather was raised [from among the dead], —who is on the right hand of God, who also is making intercession in our behalf?
35 Apini maw maimouh heh Khrih e lungpatawnae dawk hoi na kapek thai han. Roedengnae, patawpanatnae, rektapnae, kahaikahlamnae, caicinae, takithonae hoi tahloi ni na ou.
Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?—
36 Maimouh teh kanîruirui Bawipa hanlah duenae hoi kâhmo awh. Maimouh teh thei hanlah hmoun e tunaw patetlah na pouk awh telah Cakathoung dawk thut e patetlah doeh ao.
According as it is written—For thy sake, are we being put to death all the day long, we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter.—
37 Maimouh teh, maimouh lungpatawkung Bawipa lahoi yah, hote hnonaw kâhmo awh lahun nah, khoeroe tâ e lah o awh.
Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquering through him that hath loved us.
38 Bangkongtetpawiteh, duenae thoseh, hringnae thoseh, kalvantaminaw thoseh, ka ukkungnaw thoseh, atu hmu thai e hnonaw thoseh, ka tho hane hnonaw thoseh, hnotithainae thoseh,
For I am persuaded that—neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
39 kahlun lae hno thoseh, rahim lae hno thoseh, sak e cawngca pueng hai thoseh, maimae Bawipa Khrih Jisuh thung kaawm e Cathut e lungpatawnae hoi bang ni hai na kapek thai mahoeh.
Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
