< Rom 5 >

1 Hatdawkvah maimouh teh yuemnae lahoi lannae koe phat pawiteh maimouh Bawipa Jisuh Khrih lahoi Cathut hmalah roumnae coe awh toe.
Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
2 Hote lungmanae coe thainae teh, yuemnae tawn awh teh, hote Bawipa dawk hoi dueng doeh coe thainae kâ tawn awh. Hatdawkvah Cathut e Bawilennae ngaihawi laihoi konawmnae tawn awh toe.
by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.
3 Hot dueng nahoeh, rucatnae khang nahaiyah lunghawinae tawn awh toe. Bangkongtetpawiteh, rucatnae ni teh panguepnae a thokhai.
And not only [that], but we also boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation works endurance;
4 Panguepnae ni teh panuecainae a thokhai. Panuecainae ni teh ngaihawinae a thokhai.
and endurance, experience; and experience, hope;
5 Hote ngaihawinae ni maimouh yeirai na poe mahoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Cathut e lungpatawnae ni maimouh na poe e Kathoung Muitha lahoi maimae lungthung vah awi e lah o awh toe.
and hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by [the] Holy Spirit which has been given to us:
6 Maimouh thayoun lah o awh lahun navah, Khrih teh atueng a pha nah cathutlaipa e taminaw hanlah a due.
for we being still without strength, in [the] due time Christ has died for [the] ungodly.
7 Bangkongtetpawiteh, tamikalan hanelah kadout hane tami a takang. Hawinae ka sak e tami hanelah teh ao thai tet ei sei.
For scarcely for [the] just [man] will one die, for perhaps for [the] good [man] some one might also dare to die;
8 Maimouh teh tamikayon lah o awh lahun nah, Khrih teh maimae yon kecu dawk a due toe. Cathut ni maimouh banghloine lungpataw awh tie kacaicalah a kamnue sak.
but God commends his love to us, in that, we being still sinners, Christ has died for us.
9 Hatdawkvah atuteh a thipaling lahoi lannae koe pha hnukkhu, hote Bawipa lahoi a lungkhueknae dawk hoi hlout awh han tie hoe ngaihawinae ao.
Much rather therefore, having been now justified in [the power of] his blood, we shall be saved by him from wrath.
10 Bangkongtetpawiteh, taran lah o awh lahun nah Ama e Capa duenae lahoi, maimanaw teh Cathut hoi bout kâmaihawi awh toe. Kâmaihawi tangcoung lah kaawm e maimouh teh, Capa e hringnae lahoi rungngangnae dawk pha han doeh telah ngaihawinae hoe ao.
For if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much rather, having been reconciled, we shall be saved in [the power of] his life.
11 Hot dueng laipalah, atu maimouh bout kâmaihawinae na kapoekung Bawipa Jisuh Khrih lahoi Cathut dawk konawmnae tawn awh.
And not only [that], but [we are] making our boast in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom now we have received the reconciliation.
12 Hatdawkvah, yon teh tami buet touh lahoi talaivan dawk a kâen teh, yon ni duenae a thokhai e patetlah tami pueng a yon awh toung dawkvah, duenae koe a pha awh.
For this [cause], even as by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death; and thus death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 Kâlawk poe hoehnahlan hoi talaivan dawk yon teh ao toe. Hatei, kâlawk awmhoeh pawiteh yon hah yon telah khoe thai hoeh.
(for until law sin was in [the] world; but sin is not put to account when there is no law;
14 Hateiteh, Adam koehoi kamtawng teh Mosi totouh duenae ni a uk. Adam ni a yon e patetlah kayonhoehe naw pueng hai koung a uk. Hote Adam teh ka tho hane a tâhlip lah ao.
but death reigned from Adam until Moses, even upon those who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is [the] figure of him to come.
15 Hatei, aphulaipa poehno hoi yonnae kâvan hoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, tami buet touh a yon kecu dawk tami moikapap dout pawiteh, Cathut lungmanae hoi tami buet touh Jisuh Khrih lungmanae dawk hoi poehno teh, tami moikapap koevah lungmanae hoehoe apap han.
But [shall] not the act of favour [be] as the offence? For if by the offence of one the many have died, much rather has the grace of God, and the free gift in grace, which [is] by the one man Jesus Christ, abounded unto the many.
16 Hothloilah, tami buet touh payonnae ni a thokhai e hoi poehno teh kâvan hoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, buet touh koelah lawkcengnae dawk teh, yonphukhangnae lah ao. Hatei, yonnae moikapap dawk hoi aphulaipa poehno ni teh lansaknae a tâcokhai.
And [shall] not as by one that has sinned [be] the gift? For the judgment [was] of one to condemnation, but the act of favour, of many offences unto justification.
For if by the offence of the one death reigned by the one, much rather shall those who receive the abundance of grace, and of the free gift of righteousness, reign in life by the one Jesus Christ: )
18 Hatdawkvah tami buet touh e payon kecu dawkvah taminaw pueng yonphukhangnae lawkcengnae koe a pha e patetlah, tami buet touh e lannae pawlawk lahoi tami pueng hringnae hoi lansaknae koe lah phanae kâ tawn awh toe.
so then as [it was] by one offence towards all men to condemnation, so by one righteousness towards all men for justification of life.
19 Bangkongtetpawiteh, tami buet touh e lawk eknae kecu dawk tami moikapap yon dawk pha e patetlah tami buet touh lawkngainae lahoi tami moikapap lannae koe pha awh.
For as indeed by the disobedience of the one man the many have been constituted sinners, so also by the obedience of the one the many will be constituted righteous.
20 Kâlawk teh yonnae pung sak hanelah doeh a kâen. Hatei, yonnae a pungnae koe lungmanae hoe a pung.
But law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded,
21 Hottelah pawiteh yon ni duenae lahoi na uk e patetlah lungmanae haiyah lannae lahoi na uk teh maimae Bawipa Jisuh Khrih lahoi a yungyoe hringnae coe thai nahane doeh. (aiōnios g166)
in order that, even as sin has reigned in [the power of] death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
