1 Hathnukkhu kalvantami pali touh ni talai takin pali touh koe a kangdue awh teh, talai koehai thoseh, thingkung pueng koehai thoseh, tuipui koehai thoseh, kahlî a tho hoeh nahanlah talai takin pali touh koe e kahlînaw a kuet awh e hah ka hmu.
After this, I saw four messengers, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding fast the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the land, or upon the sea, or upon any tree.
2 Hahoi, alouke kalvantami buet touh teh kahring Cathut e tacik patuep laihoi kanîtho lahoi a luen takhang e hah ka hmu. Hote kalvantami niteh talai hoi tuipui dawk runae tho sak thainae kâ a tawn teh, kalvantami pali touh koe,
And I saw another messenger, ascending from the rising of the sun, holding the seal of the Living God; and he cried out with a loud voice unto the four messengers unto whom it had been given to injure the land and the sea,
3 maimae Cathut e sannaw e tampa dawk tacik be kin hoehroukrak talai, tuipui, hoi thingnaw koe runae phat sak hanh ei telah kacaipounglah a hram.
saying—Do not injure the land, or the sea, or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads.
4 Hathnukkhu, tacikkin lah kaawm e tami nâyittouh maw tie lawk ka thai. Isarel miphun dawk e miphun 12 touh dawk e tami 144,000 touh teh tacikkin lah ao.
And I heard the number of the sealed, —a hundred and forty-four thousand, —sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel: —
5 Judah catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Gad catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Reuben catoun dawk hoi 12,000,
Of the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand sealed, of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand,
6 Asher catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Naphtali catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Manasseh catoun dawk hoi 12,000,
Of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand,
7 Simeon catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Levih catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Issakhar catoun dawk hoi 12,000,
Of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand,
8 Zebulun catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Joseph catoun dawk hoi 12,000, Benjamin catoun dawk hoi 12,000 naw teh tacikkin lah ao awh.
Of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand, sealed.
9 Hathnukkhu ka khet navah, lawk alouklouk ka dei e miphun cawngca koehoi apinihai a touk thai hoeh e tamihu pui teh, hni pangaw a kâkhu awh teh samtue e a kang a patuep teh bawitungkhung e hmalah hoi tuca e hmalah a kangdue awh.
After these things, I saw, and lo! a great multitude, —which, to number it! no one was able, —of every nation, and [of all] tribes, and peoples, and tongues; standing before the throne, and before the Lamb; arrayed in white robes, and palm-branches in their hands; —
10 Ahnimouh ni rungngangnae teh bawitungkhung dawk ka tahung e maimae Cathut hoi tuca koe ao telah kacaipounglah a târue awh.
and they cry out with a loud voice, saying—Salvation unto our God who sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb!
11 Bawitungkhung hoi, a kum kacuenaw hoi moithang pali touh e teng kâkalup lah kangdout e kalvantami pueng ni tungkhung hmalah a tabo awh teh Cathut hah a bawk awh.
And, all the messengers, were standing round about the throne and the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell down before the throne upon their faces, and rendered homage unto God,
12 Amen. Maimae Cathut teh a yungyoe hoi a yungyoe totouh yawhawinae, bawilennae, lungangnae hoi lunghawilawkdeinae, barinae, bahu, thaonae teh awm lawiseh, Amen telah a dei awh. (aiōn g165)
saying—Amen! The blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honour, and the power, and the might, —be unto our God, unto the ages of ages. [Amen]! (aiōn g165)
13 Hathnukkhu kacuenaw thung dawk e buet touh ni hni pangaw kâkhu e naw pueng teh apinaw maw Na hoi maw a tho awh telah kai hah na pacei.
And one of the elders began, saying unto me—These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they? and whence came they?
14 Kai ni Bawipa nang ni na panue bout ka ti pouh navah, ahni ni hetnaw teh runae kalenpoung thung hoi ka hlout niteh, ka tâcawt e naw doeh. Ahnimouh teh amamae kâkhu e hni hah tuca thi dawk a pâsu awh teh a pangaw sak awh.
And I at once said to him—My lord! thou, knowest! And he said unto me—These, are they who come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb;
15 Hatdawkvah, ahnimouh teh Cathut e tungkhung hmalah vah ao awh teh, Bawipa bawkim dawk karum khodai Bawipa a pholen awh. Bawitungkhung dawk ka tahung e Cathut teh ahnimouh hoi a yungyoe a okhai han.
For this cause, are they before the throne of God, and are rendering divine service unto him, day and night, in his sanctuary; and he that sitteth upon the throne shall spread his tent over them;
16 Ahnimanaw teh vonhlam tui kahran bout awm mahoeh toe. Ahnimae van khumbei hoi bang patet e kabet nihai dâw mahoeh toe.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither in any wise shall the sun fall upon them, nor any burning heat;
Because, the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne, shall shepherd them, and shall lead them unto life’s fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away every tear out of their eyes.
