1 Hathnukkhu kalvan vah kalenpounge mitnout teh ka hmu. Napui buet touh ni kanî a kho teh, thapa hah a coungroe teh, Âsi hlaikahni touh kaawm e bawilukhung a kâmuk e hah ka hmu.
And, a great sign, appeared in heaven: a woman arrayed with the sun, and, the moon, beneath her feet, and, upon her head, a crown of twelve stars;
2 Hote napui ni camo a vawn teh capa khe hanelah a von a pataw toung dawkvah a hram ki.
and she was with child, and crieth out, being in pangs and in anguish to bring forth?
3 Hahoi kalvan vah alouke mitnout hah bout ka hmu. Lû sari touh hoi ki hra touh kaawm niteh a lû dawk bawilukhung sari touh kâmuk e ka palingpak e khorui buet touh ka hmu.
And there appeared another sign in heaven; and lo! a great red dragon, —having seven heads and ten horns, and, upon his heads, seven diadems;
4 A mai ni kalvan Âsi pung thum pung touh a sawn teh talai lah a tâkhawng. Hote khorui ni capa ka khe han coungkacoe kaawm e napui hmalah a kangdue teh, capa a khe torei payawp hanelah a ring.
and, his tail, draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. And, the dragon, stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, that, as soon as she should bring forth, he might devour, her child.
5 Hote napui ni miphun pueng sum sonron hoi ka uk hane ca tongpa hah a khe. Hote capa teh Cathut koehoi amae bawitungkhung koevah tawm lah ao.
And she brought forth a son, a manchild, who was about to shepherd all the nations with a sceptre of iron; and her child was caught away unto God and unto his throne.
6 Hote napui teh thingyei kahrawngum vah a yawng. Hote hmuen koe hnin 1260 touh khetyawt hanelah Cathut ni a rakueng pouh e hmuen ao.
And, the woman, fled into the desert, where she hath a place prepared of God, that, there, they should nourish her a thousand, two hundred, and sixty days.
7 Hathnukkhu kalvan vah tarankâtuknae ao. Maikel hoi ama e kalvantami ni khorui hah a tuk awh. Khorui ni amae hnukkâbangnaw hoi bout a tuk awh ei, tâ awh hoeh.
And there came to be war in heaven: Michael and his messengers [going forth] to war with the dragon; and, the dragon, fought, and his messengers;
8 Kalvan haiyah ahnimouh o nahane hmuen awm hoeh toe. Het talai van pueng ka dum ni teh, kahraimathout tie Setan,
and he prevailed not, neither was place found for them, any longer, in heaven.
9 ayan e tahrun karuem tie khorui teh talai vah tâkhawng lah ao toe. Ahni hoi ahnie a hnukkâbangnaw pueng hai tâkhawng lah ao.
And the great dragon was cast out, —the ancient serpent, he that is called Adversary and the Satan, that deceiveth the whole habitable world, —he was cast to the earth, and his messengers, with him, were cast.
10 Hathnukkhu kalvan vah kacaipounge lawk ni, maimae Cathut uknaeram hoi ahnie Khrih e bahu teh a kamnue toe. Bangkongtetpawiteh maimae hmaunawnghanaw hah Cathut hmalah karum khodai yon kapen e taran teh tâkhawng lah ao toe.
And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying—Now, hath come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; because the accuser of our brethren hath been cast out, who was accusing them before our God day and night;
11 Hmaunawnghanaw teh tuca e thi lahoi hai, amamouh ni lawkpanuesaknae a lawk lahoi hai a tâ awh teh, due ditouh amamae hringnae lungpataw awh hoeh.
And, they, overcame him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of their witnessing word, and they loved not their life, even unto death.
12 Hatdawkvah kalvannaw hoi kalvan kaawm e naw konawm awh haw. Talai hoi tuipuinaw teh yawthoe lah ao awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh kahraimathout teh amae tueng younca doeh kaawm toe tie a panue dawkvah puenghoi a lungkhuek laihoi nangmouh koe a kum toe telah dei e hah ka thai.
For this cause, be joyful, O heavens, and ye who, therein, are tabernacling. Woe! unto the earth, and the sea, because the Adversary hath come down unto you, having great wrath—knowing that, but a little season, he hath.
13 Khorui ni talai van tâkhawng lah ka o toe tie a kâpanue dawkvah ca tongpa ka khe e napui hah a rektap.
And, when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he pursued the woman who had brought forth the manchild.
14 Hatei hote napui ni kahrawng e thingyei yawn, amae a hmuen koe a kamleng thai nahanlah kalenpounge mataw rathei kahni touh poe lah ao. Hote napui teh tahrun hmalah hoi a hlout teh hote hmuen koe kum thum touh hoi tangawn khetyawt e lah ao.
And there were given unto the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the desert, into her place, —where she is nourished, a season and seasons and half a season, from the face of the serpent.
15 Tahrun ni hote napui hah tui pâyo sak hanelah, hote napui hnuk lahoi tui hah palangpui patetlah a kâko hoi a khu teh a tâco sak.
And the serpent cast out of his mouth, after the woman, water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
16 Hatei talai ni amae a kâko a ang teh khorui kâko hoi patha lah kaawm e tuipui hah a padoun.
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 Hattoteh khorui ni hote napui koe puenghoi a lungkhuek teh Cathut e kâpoelawknaw ka tarawi e taminaw hoi Jisuh Khrih e lawkpanuesaknae lah kaawm e hote napui e catoun thung hoi kacawiraenaw hoi tarankâtuk hanelah a kamthaw teh,
And the dragon was angered against the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed—with them who were keeping the commandments of God, and holding the witness of Jesus; —and he stood upon the sand of the sea.
