1 Kathutkung: Devit Oe Cathut, na min lahoi na rungngang haw. Na thaonae hoi lawk na ceng pouh haw.

SAVE me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

2 Oe Cathut, ka ratoum e heh thai haw. Ka dei e lawk heh na thai pouh haw.

Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ramlouknaw ni kai taranlahoi a thaw awh teh, rep kacuengroenaw ni thei hanlah a kâcai awh. Cathut minhmai khoeroe khen awh hoeh. (Selah)

For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 Khenhaw! Cathut teh na kabawmkung doeh. BAWIPA teh ka hringnae karingkungnaw koe ao.

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

5 A tawksak awh e thoenae hah ama ni a patho han. Ahnimouh teh na lawkkatang hoi raphoe haw.

He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

6 Kai hai lungthocalah hoi nang koe thuengnae ka sak han. Oe BAWIPA, na min teh ka pholen han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nang teh na hawi.

I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.

7 Kai hah runae phunkuep thung hoi na hlout sak teh, ka tarannaw koe ka phat e hah ka mit ni khei a hmu toe.

For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
