1 Kathutkung: Asaph Athakaawme, BAWIPA Cathut ni lawk a dei. Talai heh kanîtho koehoi kanîloum totouh ka kaw.
[A Psalm by Asaph.] The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, speaks, and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.
2 Meihawinae kuep Zion hoi Cathut teh a ang han.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.
3 Maimae Cathut tho vaiteh, duem awm mahoeh. A hmalah hmai kang vaiteh, petkâkalup lah kahlî a tho han.
Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
4 A taminaw lawkceng thai nahanlah, lathueng lae kalvannaw kaw vaiteh, talai hai a kaw han.
He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:

"Gather my faithful ones together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice."
6 Kalvannaw ni a lannae pâpho naseh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Cathut ma roeroe heh lawkcengkung doeh.
The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. (Selah)

"Hear, my people, and I will speak; Israel, and I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
8 Nange thuengnae dawk na yue mahoeh. Ka hmalah pout laipalah kaawm e hmaisawi thuengnae dawk hai na yue mahoeh.
I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.

I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
10 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ratu dawk e sarang pueng teh kaie doeh. Mon 1,000 touh dawk ka pâ e moithangnaw hai kaie doeh.
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
11 Monsom e tavaca pueng ka panue. Mon 1,000 touh dawk ka pâ e moithangnaw hai kaie doeh.
I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
12 Ka vonhlam pawiteh nang koe ka dei mahoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, talaivan hoi a thung e kaawm e pueng teh kaie doeh.
If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
13 Maitotan moi ka ca han namaw. Hmae thi ka nei han namaw.
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14 Lunghawilawkdeinae thuengnae hah Cathut koe poe haw. Lathueng Poung koe na lawkkamnae hah kuep sak haw.
Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.

Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me."

seeing you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
18 Tamru na hmu toteh tang na kamyawngkhai teh, uicuknaw na hmu toteh tang na kambawngkhai.
When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
19 Na kâko hah thoenae koe na hno teh, na lai hah dumyennae koe bout na hno.
"You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
20 Na tahung teh, na hmaunawngha tounkhouknae lawk na dei.
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother's son.
21 Hottelah na o nahlangva kai ni duem na o takhai navah, nama patetlah kai hah na pouk. Hatei, na yue vaiteh na yonnae hah na hmaitung vah peng ka dan han.
You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.

23 Lunghawilawkdeinae thuengnae ka sak e pueng teh, kai ka bawilen sak e lah ao. A cei nahan lamthung ka pouk e tami koe Cathut e rungngangnae lamthung ka pâtue han.
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me; and to him who orders his conduct I will show the salvation of God."
