< Sam 48 >

1 Kathutkung: Korah capanaw BAWIPA teh a lentoe poung. Cathut khopui dawk lentoe poung lah, amae mon kathoung dawk pholen hanlah a kamcu.
A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.
2 Zion mon atunglah kaawm e teh arasang teh a meihawi.
Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
3 Cathut teh a im dawkvah ao teh, a kânguenae rapan tie panue lah ao.
God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge.
4 Bangkongtetpawiteh, siangpahrangnaw a kamkhueng awh teh, cungtalah a dei awh.
For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together.
5 A hmu awh toteh, a kalue awh teh koung a yawng awh.
They saw it, then were they amazed; they were dismayed, they hasted away.
6 Kanîtholah e kahlî hoi Tarshish long kalennaw ouk a raphoe e patetlah,
Trembling took hold of them there; pain, as of a woman in travail.
7 Haw tueng vah, takinae ni a man awh teh, napui camokhe pataw e patetlah a man awh.
With the east wind thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.
8 Panue awh tangcoung e hoi hmu awh tangcoung e patetlah, ransahu BAWIPA khopui, maimae Cathut khopui teh, Cathut ni a yungyoe hanelah a caksak han.
As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
9 Oe Cathut, na bawkim lungui vah, na pahrenlungmanae ouk ka pouk awh.
We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
10 Oe Cathut, na min patetlah nang pholennae ni, talai pout totouh a pha teh, nange aranglae kut teh lannae hoi akawi.
As is thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
11 Na lawkcengnae dawkvah, Zion mon teh lunghawi naseh, Zion canu hai konawm naseh.
Let mount Zion be glad, let the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of thy judgments.
12 Zion hah lawngven awh nateh, imrasangnaw hah parei awh haw.
Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
13 Sekatha dawk kaawm han rae naw koe patuen na dei thai awh nahanlah, kalupnae hah pâkuem awh nateh, siangpahrang imnaw hah pouk awh haw.
Mark ye welt her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
14 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Cathut teh a yungyoe maimae Cathut doeh. Ahni teh maimouh due totouh hai na kahrawikung lah ao.
For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide [even] unto death.
