I will bless Yhwh at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 Ka hringnae ni BAWIPA dawk a kâoup han. Kârahnoumnaw ni a thai awh vaiteh, a lunghawi awh han.
My soul shall make her boast in Yhwh: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 Oe BAWIPA teh na pholen khai awh haw. A min teh rei kâoupkhai awh sei.
O magnify Yhwh with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 BAWIPA ka tawng navah, ama ni na thai pouh. Ka takinae pueng thung hoi na rasa.
I sought Yhwh, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 Ama kakhennaw teh, minhmai a pan awh. Nâtuek hai kayanae awm mahoeh.
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 Hete mathoe ni a hram teh, BAWIPA ni a thai. Runae pueng thung hoi a rasa.
This poor man cried, And Yhwh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 Ama kataketnaw teh, BAWIPA e kalvantami ni a teng vah petkâkalup lahoi a tungpup sin awh teh, ouk a rasa awh.
The angel of Yhwh encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 Oe, BAWIPA hawinae patek awh nateh khen awh haw. Ama kâuepnaw teh tami a yawkahawinaw doeh.
O taste and see that Yhwh is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 Oe, a tamikathoungnaw, BAWIPA teh taket awh. A ma kataketnaw teh voutthoup hoi awm boihoeh.
O fear Yhwh, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 Sendektancanaw patenghai ca hane tawn laipalah vonhlam hoi ouk ao awh. Hatei, BAWIPA katawngnaw teh, hnokahawi tawn laipalah, awm awh mahoeh.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek Yhwh shall not want any good thing.
11 Camonaw tho awh haw, ka lawk thai awh haw. BAWIPA takinae na cangkhai awh han.
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Yhwh.
12 Apimaw nuenkahawi hoi hring han ka ngai. Apimaw hnokahawi hmu hanlah hring saw ka ngai.
What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Na lai teh yonnae thung hoi ring nateh, na pahni hah dumnae lawk dei hoeh nahanlah ring haw.
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Yonnae cettakhai nateh hawinae sak. Roumnae tawng nateh pâleih.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 BAWIPA mit ni tamikalannaw a khet teh, a hramnae lawk thai hanelah a hnâ a pakeng.
The eyes of Yhwh are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 BAWIPA minhmai ni hawihoehnae kasakkungnaw hah a taran. Talai van ahnimouh pou pouknae tâkhawng pouh lah ao han.
The face of Yhwh is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 Tamikalan a hram toteh, BAWIPA ni a thai pouh teh runae thung hoi a rasa.
The righteous cry, And Yhwh heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 A lungkareknaw hanelah, BAWIPA a hnai teh, muitha lungkamathoutnaw a rungngang.
Yhwh is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Tamikalannaw ni runae moi a kâhmo awh. Hatei, BAWIPA ni hotnaw thung hoi a rungngang.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But Yhwh delivereth him out of them all.
20 A hru pueng a ring pouh, buet touh boehai khoe lah awm mahoeh.
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Hawihoehnae ni tamikathout thet vaiteh, tamikalan kahmuhmanaw teh thoebo lah ao awh han.
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 BAWIPA ni a sannaw hringnae hah a ratang teh, ama kâuepnaw teh buet touh boehai thoebo lah awm mahoeh.
Yhwh redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
