The king shall joy in thy strength, O Yhwh; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 Apâhni hoi a kâhei e hah na oun hoeh niteh, a lungthin ngainae hah na poe toe. (Selah)
Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. (Selah)
3 Bangkongtetpawiteh, hawinae yawhawi hoi na dawn teh, a lû dawk suikathoung bawilukhung hoi na kâmuk sak.
For thou puttest before him blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 Nang koe a hei e hringnae, a yungyoe hoi a yungyoe totouh hringsawnae hah na poe.
He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
5 A bawilennae teh na rungngangnae dawkvah a len, barinae hoi taluenae teh ahni dawk na patue toe.
His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
6 Bangkongtetpawiteh, a yungyoe hane yawhawinae lentoe kacoekung lah na sak teh, na hmalah puenghoi a lung kahawi hanelah na coung sak.
For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7 Bangkongtetpawiteh, siangpahrang ni BAWIPA hah a kâuep. Lathueng Poung lungmanae lahoi kâhuen mahoeh.
For the king trusteth in Yhwh, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
8 Na kut ni na taran pueng hmawt vaiteh, aranglae na kut ni na ka hmuhma e pueng hah a hmu han.
Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
9 Na lungkhuek toteh, ahnimouh hah takhuen patetlah na coung sak han. BAWIPA ni ahnimouh teh, a lungkhueknae lahoi payawp vaiteh, a hmai ni koung a kak awh han.
Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: Yhwh shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
10 A catounnaw hah talai van hoi koung takhoe pouh vaiteh, a catounnaw hah miphunnaw thung hoi na takhoe han.
Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
11 Bangkongtetpawiteh, nang taran lahoi, hawihoehnae hah sak han a kâcai awh teh, a sak thai awh hoeh e hah sak han a kâcai awh.
For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
12 Hatdawkvah, ahnimouh teh na yawng sak vaiteh, ahnimae a mithmainaw dawk na licung hoi coungkacoe na nue toe.
Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
13 Oe BAWIPA, na thaonae dawk tawm lah na o. Na thaonae pholen hoi la ka sak han.
Be thou exalted, Yhwh, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
