< Sam 113 >

1 Kathutkung: Panuekhoeh BAWIPA teh pholen awh. Oe BAWIPA e sannaw, pholen awh. BAWIPA min teh pholen awh.
Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.
2 BAWIPA min teh atuhoi a yungyoe ditouh pholen lah awm lawiseh.
Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.
3 Kanîtho koehoi kanîloum totouh, BAWIPA min teh pholen lah awm lawiseh.
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.
4 BAWIPA teh miphun pueng e lathueng vah ao teh, a bawilennae teh kalvan hlak a rasang.
The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.
5 A rasang hmuen koe ao eiteh, BAWIPA Cathut patetlah apimouh kaawm.
Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:
6 Kalvan e hno hoi talai hnonaw ka khen e BAWIPA patetlah apimaw kaawm.
And looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?
7 Mathoenaw hah vaiphu koehoi ka pathaw niteh, kavoutthoupnaw hah vaipuen koehoi a tawm teh,
Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill:
8 bawinaw hai thoseh, a taminaw hoi cungtalah ao thai awh nahanelah thoseh hmuen a poe.
That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.
9 Cakaroe e napui o nahan im a poe teh, camo ka tawn e napui patetlah a konawm. Hallelujah.
Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.
