< Sam 107 >

1 Kasakkung: panuekhoeh Oe BAWIPA koe lunghawilawk hah dei awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ama teh ahawi, a lungmanae teh a yungyoe a kangning.
BOOK V 'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
2 BAWIPA ni a ratang tangcoung, taran kut dawk hoi a ratang e naw ni, hottelah dei awh naseh.
So let the redeemed of the LORD say, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 Kho tangkuem hoi, kanîtho, kanîloum, aka, atung lahoi koung a pâkhueng.
And gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.
4 Thingyeium ramke lamthung dawk a kâva awh teh, o nahane kho hmawt awh hoeh.
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; they found no city of habitation.
5 Vonhlam tui kahran hoi a lung apout awh.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Runae koehoi BAWIPA hah a kaw awh teh, rucatnae thung hoi a rasa awh.
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.
7 Khosaknae hmuen khopui vah a cei thai awh nahanelah, lam kalan dawk a hrawi awh.
And He led them by a straight way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Oe taminaw niyah BAWIPA hawinae hoi taminaw hanelah kângairu hno a sak e naw dawkvah, lunghawilawk dei awh haw boipawiteh khe.
Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
9 Bangtelah tetpawiteh, hringnae ni a rabui e hah kuep sak vaiteh, vonhlamrincinaw hah hawinae hoi a paha sak han.
For He hath satisfied the longing soul, and the hungry soul He hath filled with good.
10 Hmonae hoi duenae tâhlip dawk ka tahung e naw hah, runae sumrui hoi katek lah ao.
Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron —
11 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Cathut lawk a oun, a taran awh teh, Lathueng Poung e pouknae hai banglah ngâi awh hoeh.
Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High.
12 Hatdawkvah, ahnimae lungthin teh karanglah a tabut sak, a rawpkhai awh teh, kabawmkung apihai awm hoeh.
Therefore He humbled their heart with travail, they stumbled, and there was none to help —
13 Hottelah runae koehoi BAWIPA a kaw awh teh, ahni ni amamae rucatnae thung hoi a tâco takhai.
They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.
14 Hmonae hoi duenae tâhlip thung hoi a rasa teh, ahnimouh kateknae sumbawtarui hah a rading pouh.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.
15 Oe taminaw niyah BAWIPA hawinae hoi taminaw hanelah kângairu hno a sak e naw dawkvah, lunghawilawk dei awh haw boipawiteh khe.
Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
16 Ama ni rahum tho hah a raphoe teh, tarennae sumtaboung hah a raphoe.
For He hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17 Tamipathu hah kâtapoenae hoi a payonnae dawk runae khang sak lah ao.
Crazed because of the way of their transgression, and afflicted because of their iniquities —
18 A hringnae ni ca hane pueng a panuet teh, duenae tho koe a pâtam awh.
Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near unto the gates of death —
19 Hottelah runae koehoi BAWIPA a kaw awh teh, ahni ni amamae rucatnae thung hoi a tâco takhai.
They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses;
20 A lawk patoun lahoi a dam sak teh, a kahmanae koehoi a rungngang.
He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves.
21 Oe taminaw niyah BAWIPA hawinae hoi taminaw hanelah kângairu hno a sak e naw dawkvah, lunghawilawk dei awh haw boipawiteh khe.
Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
22 Lunghawilawkdeinae thuengnae poe laihoi a tawk e naw hah lunghawi lahoi pâpho naseh.
And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with singing.
23 Talîpui dawk long hoi kahlawng ka cet e, ka kaw e talîpui dawk hnopai kayawtnaw ni,
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters —
24 kadung poung e tui thung vah, kângairu hoi BAWIPA hno sak e hah ouk a hmu awh.
These saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep;
25 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ama ni kâ a poe teh kahlî a tho sak, hote kahlî ni tuicapa a thaw sak.
For He commanded, and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves thereof;
26 Kalvan totouh a luen teh, adungnae koe bout a bo awh teh, takithonae dawk a lung a pout awh.
They mounted up to the heaven, they went down to the deeps; their soul melted away because of trouble;
27 Yamu ka parui e tami patetlah rawrawcu awh teh, bangtelah o nahan panuek awh hoeh.
They reeled to and fro, and staggered like a drunken man, and all their wisdom was swallowed up —
28 Hottelah runae koehoi BAWIPA a kaw awh teh, ahni ni amamae rucatnae thung hoi a tâco takhai.
They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses.
29 Kahlî a roum sak teh, tuicapa hai a roum.
He made the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof were still.
30 Hottelah a roum dawkvah, a lunghawi teh, pha han ngaipoungnae hmuen koe a phakhai.
Then were they glad because they were quiet, and He led them unto their desired haven.
31 Oe taminaw niyah BAWIPA hawinae hoi taminaw hanelah kângairu hno a sak e naw dawkvah, lunghawilawk dei awh haw boipawiteh khe.
Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
32 Tamimaya a kamkhuengnae koehai ama teh tawm awh naseh. Kacuenaw hmalah hai pholen awh naseh.
Let them exalt Him also in the assembly of the people, and praise Him in the seat of the elders.
33 Ama ni palangpui hah ayawn lah a coung sak teh, tui hah talai kaphui e lah a coung sak.
He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and watersprings into a thirsty ground;
34 Bangtelah tet pawiteh, a thung kaawm e yonnae kecu dawk, ram kahawi teh palawi talai lah ouk a coung sak.
A fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35 Ayawn hah tuikamuemnae lah a coung sak teh, ramkenaw hah tui onae hmuen lah a coung sak.
He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, and a dry land into watersprings.
36 Khosaknae hmuen khopui lah a kangdue thai nahan, vonkahlamnaw hah ao sak.
And there He maketh the hungry to dwell, and they establish a city of habitation;
37 Moikapap a paw thai nahanelah, misur takha a sak awh.
And sow fields, and plant vineyards, which yield fruits of increase.
38 Yawhawi a poe teh moikapap a pung sak. A paca e saringnaw kahma hane pasoung hoeh.
He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly, and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39 Repcoungroenae hoi runae, pankângainae kecu dawk rahnoumnae hoi, raphoe lah ao navah,
Again, they are minished and dwindle away through oppression of evil and sorrow.
40 a tami bawinaw koe, pacekpahleknae a pha sak teh, lamthung ohoehnae kahrawngum vah, a kâva sak.
He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.
41 Hottelah hoi tami ka roedeng e hah runae tangkom dawk hoi hmuen rasangnae koe a tawm teh, saringhu patetlah imthung a sak pouh.
Yet setteth He the needy on high from affliction, and maketh his families like a flock.
42 Tamikalannaw ni a hmu awh navah, a lunghawi awh. Payonnae ka sak pueng teh pahni tabuem pouh lah ao.
The upright see it, and are glad; and all iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
43 A lungkaang pueng ni hete hnonaw heh a pâkuem awh vaiteh, BAWIPA lungpatawnae hah a thai panuek awh han.
Whoso is wise, let him observe these things, and let them consider the mercies of the LORD.
