< Filippi 2 >

1 Hatdawkvah Khrih dawk thapoenae, lungpatawnae, Muitha hoi kâhuikonae, kâpahrennae tie buetbuet touh awm pawiteh,
If, then, any exhortation [is] in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 nangmouh ni buet touh hoi buet touh lungkâpataw awh nateh, lungthin kâkapeknae tawn laipalah lungthin cungtalah pouknae lahoi ka lunghawinae kuep sak awh.
fulfil ye my joy, that ye may mind the same thing — having the same love — of one soul — minding the one thing,
3 Kâtaran ngainae lungthin, kâoupkapawinae lungthin tawn laihoi bangpatet e hno hai sak awh hanh. Ayânaw kai hlak ahawi telah buet touh hoi buet touh kârahnoumnae lungthin hoi khosak awh.
nothing in rivalry or vain-glory, but in humility of mind one another counting more excellent than yourselves —
4 Ma hane ahawinae dueng pouk laipalah ayâ louk hane hai pouk pouh van awh.
each not to your own look ye, but each also to the things of others.
5 Khrih Jisuh thung kaawm e lungthin hah nangmouh koehai awm sak van awh.
For, let this mind be in you that [is] also in Christ Jesus,
6 Hote Bawipa teh Cathut coungnae hoi a kuep ei teh Cathut hoi kâvannae thama lahoi lawp hanelah pouknae tawn hoeh.
who, being in the form of God, thought [it] not robbery to be equal to God,
7 Amae a reng a ceitakhai teh san coungnae a kâmahrawk teh tami patetlah a khe.
but did empty himself, the form of a servant having taken, in the likeness of men having been made,
8 Hottelah tami coungnae hoi a kuep teh thingpalam dawk duenae totouh a khang teh amahoima a kârahnoum.
and in fashion having been found as a man, he humbled himself, having become obedient unto death — death even of a cross,
9 Hatdawkvah Pa Cathut ni Bawipa teh a lathueng poung lah a tawm teh min pueng hlak ka talue poung e min a poe.
wherefore, also, God did highly exalt him, and gave to him a name that [is] above every name,
10 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Jisuh min barinae lah kalvan kaawm e, talai dawk kaawm e, talai thung kaawm e kâroe tako pueng ni khok a cuengkhuem vaiteh,
that in the name of Jesus every knee may bow — of heavenlies, and earthlies, and what are under the earth —
11 Jisuh Khrih teh Bawipa doeh telah pahni hoi a kampangkhai teh, Pa Cathut a bawilennae a kamnue sak nahane doeh.
and every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Hatdawkvah ka pahren e naw, lawk pou na ngâi awh e patetlah nangmouh teh ka mithmu lawk na ngâi e dueng laipalah, kai hoi na kâhla nahai lawk na ngâi awh teh, takinae lung hoi nangmae rungngangnae hah kamnuek sak awh.
So that, my beloved, as ye always obey, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, with fear and trembling your own salvation work out,
13 Bangkongtetpawiteh, nangmouh teh ngainae tawn sak han e, tawk sak han e, nangmae thung lungthocalah hoi thawtawkkung teh Cathut doeh.
for God it is who is working in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
14 Bang patet e thaw dawk hai phuenangnae tawn laipalah tawk awh.
All things do without murmurings and reasonings,
15 Hottelah na tetpawiteh tami kadumyennaw hmalah nangmouh teh tounhoehe hoi ayâ runae ka poe hoeh e Cathut e ca lah na o awh han. Hringnae lawkkatang hah kacaklah na patuep awh vaiteh, kalvan lah kaawm e hmaiangnaw patetlah ahnimae thung pheng a tue pouh han.
that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God, unblemished in the midst of a generation crooked and perverse, among whom ye do appear as luminaries in the world,
16 Hottelah hoiyah kai teh ayawmyin lah ka yawng hoeh tie hoi ayawmyin lah ka kâyawm e nahoeh tie hah Khrih e hnin a pha toteh ka konawm han.
the word of life holding forth, for rejoicing to me in regard to a day of Christ, that not in vain did I run, nor in vain did I labour;
17 Hot dueng laipalah nangmae yuemnae hoi kâkuen e bawknae, hoi thuengnae naw dawk kai na thueng awh han ati awh nakunghai, ka lunghawi vaiteh nangmouh pueng hoi cungtalah ka konawm han.
but if also I am poured forth upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and joy with you all,
18 Hot patetvanlah nangmouh hai na lunghawi awh, kai hoi cungtalah konawm awh.
because of this do ye also rejoice and joy with me.
19 Nangmae akongnaw ka thai navah ka tha hoe ao. Nangmouh koe Timote tang ka patoun thai nahanelah, Jisuh Khrih dawk ngaihawinae ka tawn.
And I hope, in the Lord Jesus, Timotheus to send quickly to you, that I also may be of good spirit, having known the things concerning you,
20 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Timote patetlah kai hoi lungkânging niteh, nangmae hawi nahanelah, ka pouk katang e tami buet touh hai kai koe awmhoeh.
for I have no one like-minded, who sincerely for the things concerning you will care,
21 Taminaw pueng teh Khrih Jisuh ahawi nahan tawng awh hoeh, ma hawi nahan dueng doeh a tawng awh.
for the whole seek their own things, not the things of the Christ Jesus,
22 Hatei Timote teh kai hoi cungtalah, a capa hoi a na pa patetlah kamthang kahawi hanelah thaw ka tawk roi katang doeh tie ahni ni a kamnue sak e nangmouh ni na panue awh.
and the proof of him ye know, that as a child [serveth] a father, with me he did serve in regard to the good news;
23 Hatdawkvah kai dawk bangtelah ao han tie ka panue nah ahni teh nangmouh na o koe tang ka patoun han telah pouknae ka tawn.
him, indeed, therefore, I hope to send, when I may see through the things concerning me — immediately;
24 Kama roeroe hai palang ka tho thai han doeh telah Bawipa dawk yuemnae ka tawn.
and I trust in the Lord that I myself also shall quickly come.
25 Ka nawngha Epaphroditus teh nangmouh koe atu patoune hane a panki telah ka pouk. Ahni teh kai hoi thaw tawk hui, ransa hui lah ao.
And I thought [it] necessary Epaphroditus — my brother, and fellow-workman, and fellow-soldier, and your apostle and servant to my need — to send unto you,
26 Bangkongtetpawiteh ahni patounnae a kong nangmouh ni na thai a dawk doeh. Ahni ni nangmanaw pueng na rabui lawi vah a lung nawm hoeh.
seeing he was longing after you all, and in heaviness, because ye heard that he ailed,
27 Ahni teh meimei kadout lah a pataw, hatnavah Cathut ni ahni teh a pahren, ahni dueng a pahren e nahoeh, kai ka lung boutbout a mathoe hoeh nahanelah, kai hai na pahren e lah ao.
for he also ailed nigh to death, but God did deal kindly with him, and not with him only, but also with me, that sorrow upon sorrow I might not have.
28 Hatdawkvah nangmouh teh ahni hah bout na hmu awh nah konawm sak nahan, kai hai ka lung tha a dam nahan, ahni teh hoe a kâyawm dawkvah ka patoun.
The more eagerly, therefore, I did send him, that having seen him again ye may rejoice, and I may be the less sorrowful;
29 Hatdawkvah Bawipa khet lahoi lunghawinae lahoi ahni teh dâw awh. Hot patetlah e taminaw bari awh.
receive him, therefore, in the Lord, with all joy, and hold such in honour,
30 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ahnimouh ni kai na khetyawt awh, ka kuep hoeh rae thaw hah ahni ni a kuep sak hanelah ka hringnae kâhmoun teh Khrih e a thaw kecu dawk duenae koe meimei ka pha toe.
because on account of the work of the Christ he drew near to death, having hazarded the life that he might fill up your deficiency of service unto me.
