Filippi 1
1 Kai Pawl hoi Timote, Jisuh Khrih e a san lah kaawm e ni Filippi kho kaawm e bishopnaw hoi hotunaw, Khrih Jisuh thung tami kathoungnaw pueng koe ca na patawn awh.
Paul and Timotheus the seruants of IESVS CHRIST, to all the Saintes in Christ Iesus which are at Philippi, with the Bishops, and Deacons:
2 Maimae Pa Cathut hoi Bawipa Jisuh Khrih koehoi e lungmanae hoi roumnae teh nangmouh koe awm lawiseh.
Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
3 Nangmouh na pouk nah tangkuem, Cathut koe lunghawinae lawk ouk ka dei.
I thanke my God, hauing you in perfect memorie,
4 Ka ratoum tangkuem nangmouh hanlah lunghawinae lungthin hoi pou ka ratoum.
(Alwayes in all my praiers for all you, praying with gladnesse)
5 Bangkongtetpawiteh, nangmouh teh apasueke hnin koehoi atu totouh a thaw kahawi dawk cungtalah rei ka tawk e lah na o awh.
Because of the fellowship which ye haue in the Gospel, from the first day vnto nowe.
6 Nangmouh koe hnokahawi ka kamtawng e Cathut ni Jisuh Khrih e hnin totouh thaw na cum sak a han doeh ti yuemnae ka tawn.
And I am persuaded of this same thing, that he that hath begunne this good worke in you, wil perfourme it vntill the day of Iesus Christ,
7 Nangmanaw hoi ka kâkuen lah hettelah pouknae ka tawn e heh kahawi e lah ao. Nangmanaw pueng ni kai thongim ka bo nah thoseh, kamthang kahawi deinae dawk thoseh, kai hoi a lungmanae cungtalah rei ka hmawng awh e lah na o awh dawkvah nangmouh teh ka lungthin dawk pou na o awh.
As it becommeth me so to iudge of you all, because I haue you in remembrance that both in my bands, and in my defence, and confirmation of the Gospell you all were partakers of my grace.
8 Nangmouh teh Jisuh Khrih e lungpatawnae lahoi na rabuipoung awh tie na kapanuekkhaikung teh Cathut doeh.
For God is my recorde, howe I long after you all from the very heart roote in Iesus Christ.
9 Nangmae lungpatawnae teh a tang e lungangnae hoi pouknae aphunphun dawk hoehoe kuep teh,
And this I pray, that your loue may abound, yet more and more in knowledge, and in all iudgement,
10 Ka lentoe e hno hah kapeknae na tawn thai awh nahan hoi Jisuh Khrih e hnin nah kathoung lahoi toun awm laipalah na o thai awh han.
That ye may alowe those things which are best, that ye may be pure, and without offence vntill the day of Christ,
11 Jisuh Khrih lahoi lannae apaw dawk na kuep thai awh teh Cathut lentoe kamnue thai nahane hoi a bawilennae na pholen thai awh nahan ka ratoum.
Filled with the fruites of righteousnesse, which are by Iesus Christ vnto the glorie and praise of God.
12 Hmaunawnghanaw kai dawk kaphate hnonaw ni kamthang kahawi hoe a kampai sak tie na panue thai awh nahanlah na ngai khai awh.
I would ye vnderstood, brethren, that the things which haue come vnto me, are turned rather to the furthering of the Gospell,
13 Hatdawkvah, Khrih kecu dawk kateknae ka khang e heh, siangpahrang im koe dueng laipalah, hmuen tangkuem a kamnue.
So that my bandes in Christ are famous throughout all the iudgement hall, and in all other places,
14 Kapap e hmaunawnghanaw ni kai ni kateknae ka khang kecu dawk Bawipa dawk yuemnae a cak awh teh, takinae tawn laipalah taranhawi laihoi kamthang lawk a dei awh.
In so much that many of the brethren in the Lord are boldened through my bandes, and dare more frankely speake the word.
15 Tangawn ni teh hmuhmanae lungthin hoi kâtaran hanlah Khrih kamthang a dei awh.
Some preache. Christ euen through enuie and strife, and some also of good will.
16 A lungpatawnae lungthin hoi ka dei e taminaw ni kahawi e kamthang heh Bawipa ni na poe e thaw doeh ti a panue dawk pahrennae lungthin katang hoi a pâpho awh.
The one part preacheth Christ of contention and not purely, supposing to adde more affliction to my bandes.
17 Alouknaw ni teh kai katek lah ka onae dawkvah, runae hoehoe kâhmo seh tie ngai lahoi yah, kâtânae lung hoi Khrih e kamthang kahawi teh a dei awh.
But the others of loue, knowing that I am set for the defence of the Gospell.
18 Telah pawiteh bangtelamaw dei awh han, kâsak laihoi nakunghai, lawkkatang lahoi nakunghai, Khrih kong dei lah ao dawk ka konawm. Hmalah hai ka ko bout a nawm han.
What then? yet Christ is preached all maner wayes, whether it be vnder a pretence, or syncerely: and I therein ioye: yea and will ioye.
19 Bangkongtetpawiteh, nangmae ratoumnae naw hoi Jisuh Khrih e Muitha koehoi kabawpnae naw hoi hetnaw teh, kai ka hloutnae lah ao han telah ka panue.
For I knowe that this shall turne to my saluation through your prayer, and by the helpe of the Spirit of Iesus Christ,
20 Kai teh bangpatet hno dawk hai kayayeirai takinae awm hoeh. Yampa e patetlah atu hai taranhawinae hoi ka kawi lahun, ka hring hai thoseh, ka due hai thoseh ka takthai dawk hoi Khrih teh pholen lah ao han tie ngaihawinae kalenpoung ka tawn.
As I feruently looke for, and hope, that in nothing I shalbe ashamed, but that with all confidence, as alwayes, so nowe Christ shalbe magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death.
21 Bangkongtetpawiteh, kai kahringnae teh Khrih doeh, ka due haiyah meknae lah ao.
For Christ is to me both in life, and in death aduantage.
22 Hahoi ka hring rah pawiteh aphu kaawm e thaw bout ka tawk thai nahanlah bangmaw ka rawi han ti ka panuek hoeh.
And whether to liue in the flesh were profitable for me, and what to chuse I knowe not.
23 Hatdawkvah kai teh hno kahni touh e rahak vah ka o. Kai teh talai hringnae ceitakhai vaiteh Khrih hoi o hanelah ka ngai toe, hot teh hoe kahawi e doeh.
For I am distressed betweene both, desiring to be loosed and to be with Christ, which is best of all.
24 Hateiteh, hete tak hoi kai roup kaawm rah pawiteh nangmouh hanlah hoe pankinae lah ao.
Neuerthelesse, to abide in the flesh, is more needefull for you.
25 Hatdawkvah yuemnae a roung nahan hoi lunghawi nahanlah kahring rah pawiteh nangmouh hoi cungtalah rei o han tie hah yuemnae lahoi ka panue.
And this am I sure of, that I shall abide, and with you all continue, for your furtherance and ioy of your faith,
26 Hat nah nangmouh koe bout ka tho toteh kai hoi Jisuh Khrih dawk na lunghawinae hoe apap han.
That ye may more aboundantly reioyce in IESVS CHRIST for me, by my comming to you againe.
27 Bangtelah nakunghai nangmouh teh Khrih e kamthang kahawi hoi kamcu lah khosak awh. Hottelah na hring awh pawiteh Muitha buet touh dawk kacaklah na kangdout e lah awm vaiteh, lungkânging lahoi Khrih e kamthang kahawi yuemnae dawk thaw rei ka tawk e lah na o awh han. Na ka taran e naw kong dawk, takinae banghai awmhoeh tie hah, nangmouh hoi ka kâhmo nakunghai, kamphei nakunghai ka panue thai han.
Onely let your conuersation be, as it becommeth the Gospel of Christ, that whether I come and see you, or els be absent, I may heare of your matters that ye continue in one Spirit, and in one mind, fighting together through the faith of the Gospel.
28 Hottelah takihoehnae teh ahnimouh hanlah rawk kahmanae lah ao. Nangmouh hanelah teh rungngangnae lah ao teh Cathut koehoi ka tho e lah ao.
And in nothing feare your aduersaries, which is to them a token of perdition, and to you of saluation, and that of God.
29 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Khrih thaw tawk e hateh ama yuem e dueng laipalah, ama hanelah runae khang sin hanelah hai na poe sin e a tho dawkvah,
For vnto you it is giuen for Christ, that not onely ye should beleeue in him, but also suffer for his sake,
30 kai ni ka kâhmo e hai na panue awh. Atu hai kai ni ka kâhmo e patet e hah nangmouh ni na kâhmo awh.
Hauing the same fight, which ye sawe in me, and nowe heare to be in me.
