1 Judah siangpahrang Jotham, Ahaz hoi Hezekiah, a bawinae kum dawk Morashtite tami Mikah koe ka tho e Cathut e Lawk Samaria hoi Jerusalem kong hoi kâkuen e teh,
The word of Yahweh which came unto Micah the Morashtite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, —of which he had vision concerning Samaria, and Jerusalem: —
2 Taminaw pueng thai awh haw, khocaramcanaw thai awh haw, Bawipa Jehovah kathounge bawkim hoi BAWIPA teh nangmouh na kapanuekkhaikung lah ao han.
Hear ye peoples, all of you, Hearken, O earth and the fulness thereof, —and let My Lord Yahweh be among you for a witness, My Lord out of his holy temple.
3 BAWIPA teh a onae hmuen koehoi a tâco a kum vaiteh, karasangnaw hah a coungroe han.
For lo! Yahweh, coming forth out of his place, —that he may descend, and march along upon the high places of the earth.
4 Hmai ni khoilai a daw teh atui lah a lawng e patetlah ravopui dawk hoi kalawng e tui patetlah ka hmalah monnaw ni a kamyawt awh han, ayawnnaw hai a kâraue han.
Then shall the mountains be melted beneath him, and, the valleys, be cleft, —as wax before the fire, as waters poured out in a steep place.
5 Hete hnonaw pueng heh Jakop lawk eknae kecu dawk hoi Isarel imthungnaw a yon awh dawk doeh. Jakop lawk eknae bangne, Samaria nahoehmaw. Judah hmuen karasangpoung e nâne ao. Jerusalem nahoehmaw.
For the transgression of Jacob, is all this, and for the sin of the house of Israel, —Whose is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria’s? And whose is the sin of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
6 Hatdawkvah, Samaria khopui teh laikawk dawk e talai pâpawp e patetlah ka o sak han, Misur takha patetlah ka o sak han. Rapan talungnaw ayawn dawk ka rabawk han. Rapan adu hah kamnue sak han.
Therefore will I make of Samaria a heap in a field, the plantings in a vineyard, —and I will pour down, into the valley, her stones, and, her foundations, will I lay bare;
7 Meikaphawk bawknae pueng reppasei lah ka hruek pouh han. A tawksaknae aphu pueng hmai ka sawi pouh han. Cathutkaphawk pueng be ka raphoe pouh han. Takkâyonae lahoi hnopai a tawn dawkvah, hote hnopainaw teh kâyawt e kut dawk bout a pha han.
And, all her images, shall be beaten in pieces, and, all her rewards for unchastity, shall be burned in the fire, and, all her idols, will I make a desolation, —for, out of the reward of unchastity, she gathered [them], and, unto the reward of unchastity, shall they return.
8 Hote kong dawk kai teh ka khui ka ka han. Caici lahoi ka cei ka o han. Kahrawnguinaw patetlah ka hram teh, Kalauk tava patetlah ka cai han.
For this cause, will I lament and howl, I will go stript and bare, —I will make a lamentation, like the wild dogs, and a mourning, like ostriches.
9 A hmâ teh dam thai hoeh, Judah ram totouh a kâkai awh vaiteh, ka miphun a onae hmuen Jerusalem khopui longkha totouh a pha toe.
For dangerous are her wounds, —for she hath come as far as Judah, she hath reached as far as the gate of my people, as far as Jerusalem.
10 Gath khopui dawk thaisak awh hanh, khoeroe kap awh hanh. Bet Aphrah vah vaiphu dawk kamlet awh.
In Gath, do not tell, in Accho, do not weep, —in Beth-l’aphrah, roll yourselves in dust.
11 Oe Saphir taminaw caici lah cet awh, Zaanan taminaw khuika laihoi tâcawt awh hanh. Bethezel khopui dawk na roe awh nahane kâ na poe awh mahoeh.
Pass thou over (for you), thou inhabitress of Shaphir, of disgraceful disclosure, —the inhabitress of Zaanan, hath not gone forth, at the lamentation of Beth-ezel, shall he take from you his station,
12 Maroth tami ni hai hnokahawi a doun teh a ring eiteh Cathut koehoi e rucatnae lah Jerusalem longkha totouh a pha toe.
Though the inhabitress of Maroth waited for blessing, —yet there came down calamity from Yahweh, to the gate of Jerusalem.
13 Oe, Lakhish canu karang poung e marang dawk rangleng hah thueng haw, nang ni Isarelnaw e yonnae hah na kamtu awh teh Zion canunaw hah na yon sak awh.
Bind the chariot to the steed, O inhabitress of Lachish, —the beginning of sin, was she to the daughter of Zion, for, in thee, have been found the transgressions of Israel.
14 Hatdawkvah, Gath ram Moreseth koe poehno na poe han. Akhazib khocanaw ni Isarel siangpahrangnaw hah a dumyen awh han.
Therefore, shalt thou give a dismission, against Moresheth-gath, —The houses of Achzib, served for a deception to the kings of Israel.
15 Oe, Mareshah kho kaawm e taminaw râw ka coe hane tami kai ni kakaw vaiteh, Isarel bawilennae Adullam kho dawk a pha han.
The time shall yet be when, the heir, I will bring unto thee, O inhabitress of Mareshah, —as far as Adullam, shall enter the glory of Israel.
16 Ngai kaawm e canu capanaw teh san lah na man awh toung dawk, lû luengpalueng lah ngaw awh. Langta patetlah luengpalueng lah awm awh.
Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair, for the children of thy pleasures, —enlarge thy baldness, like a vulture, for they are exiled from thee.
