Joel 3
1 Hatnae tueng navah, yampa vah man lah kaawm e Judahnaw khocanaw hoi Jerusalem khocanaw bout ka thokhai toteh,
For behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall turn again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 miphun pueng ka pâkhueng vaiteh, Jehoshaphat yon koe ka kaw han. Ahnimouh ni ka ram heh a kârei awh teh, ram tangkuem dawk kâkayei e kaie râw tami Isarelnaw koe lah, ka kampangkhai vaiteh lawk ka ceng han.
I will also gather all the nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of my people and mine inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and they have parted my land;
3 Ka taminaw hah cungpam lah a rayu awh toe. Tongpa camonaw hah a tak kâyawtnaw hoi thoseh napui camonaw hah a nei awh hane misurtui hoi thoseh, athung awh toe.
and they have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, and have drunk [it].
4 Oe, Taire kho, Sidon kho, Filistin ram hoi kâhnai e ramnaw, kai hah na taran awh han namaw. Kai na taran awh pawiteh, hote taran hah nangmouh koe bout ka pha sak han.
Yea also, what have ye to do with me, O Tyre and Zidon, and all the districts of Philistia? Will ye render me a recompence? But if ye recompense me, swiftly [and] speedily will I bring your recompence upon your own head;
5 Nangmouh ni kaie sui ngun hah na la teh, ka ngai kawi e hnonaw hah namamae bawkim dawk na hruek awh dawk thoseh,
because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my beautiful pleasant things,
6 Judahnaw, Jerusalem khocanaw hah amamae kho thung hoi kho hlanae koe a kampuen awh nahanlah Jentelnaw koe na yo awh dawk thoseh,
and the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the children of the Greeks, that ye might remove them far from their border.
7 nangmouh ni na yonae hmuen koehoi ka kangdue vaiteh ahnimouh koe na sak awh e naw hah nangmae lû dawk ka pha sak han.
Behold, I will raise them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will bring your recompence upon your own head.
8 Nangmae canu capanaw hai Judahnaw koe ka yo vaiteh ahnimouh ni kho hlanae koe, Sheba ram lah na yo awh han. Hottelah BAWIPA ni a dei toe.
And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far off: for Jehovah hath spoken.
9 Hete hno heh alouke miphunnaw koe pathang loe. Taran tuk hanelah kârakueng awh nateh athakaawme taminaw hah pâhlaw awh leih. Ransanaw abuemlah pâkhueng nateh tho awh naseh.
Proclaim this among the nations: prepare war, arouse the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, let them come up.
10 Thenaw hah tahloi lah, tangkounnaw hah tahroe lah, dei awh. Tha kayoun e tami ni a thakasai poung e lah kâdei naseh.
Beat your ploughshares into swords, and your pruning-knives into spears; let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Tengpam kaawm e miphunnaw pueng kamkhueng awh nateh tho awh haw. Kâpâkhueng awh haw. Kamkhuengnae hmuen koe nangmae athakaawme taminaw hah BAWIPA ni rahimlah a pabo han.
Haste ye and come, all ye nations round about, and gather yourselves together. Thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Jehovah.
12 Alouke miphunnaw, Jehoshaphat yawn koe tho awh naseh. Tengpam kaawm e miphunnaw pueng lawkceng hanelah hote hmuen koe kai ka tahung han.
Let the nations rouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about.
13 Cang a hmin toung dawkvah, a nahanelah tangkoun lat leih. Misur katinnae a kawi teh, Maroi dawk misurtui a poum toung dawkvah, tho nateh kum awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ahnimae yonnae teh a len poung toe.
Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down, for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Lawkcengnae ayawn dawk taminaw teh a kamkhueng awh. Lawkcengnae ayawn dawk BAWIPA e hnin teh a hnai toe.
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Jehovah is at hand in the valley of decision.
15 Kanî hoi thapa a hmo han. Âsinaw hai ang laipalah ao awh han.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 BAWIPA ni Zion mon dawk hoi a huk toteh Jerusalem khothung hoi lawk a pathang toteh kalvan hoi talai ni a pâyaw han. Hatei BAWIPA teh a taminaw e kâuepnae, Isarelnaw hanlah thaonae lah ao han.
And Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: and Jehovah will be a shelter for his people, and the refuge of the children of Israel.
17 Kathounge Zion mon dawk kaawm e ka tamikathoungnaw e BAWIPA lah ka o e a panue awh han. Jerusalem khopui hai a thoung han. Hote khopui teh Jentelnaw ni bout coungroe awh mahoeh.
And ye shall know that I, Jehovah, [am] your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain; and Jerusalem shall be holy, and no strangers shall pass through her any more.
18 Hote atueng navah ka radip poung e misurtui mon dawk hoi a yu han. Monrui dawk hoi sanutui a tâco han. Judah tuipui pueng tui a lawng han. BAWIPA e Imthungkhu dawk hoi tuihnu a phuek vaiteh Shittim yawn a duk sak han.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the water-courses of Judah shall flow with waters; and a fountain shall come forth from the house of Jehovah, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Judah ram dawk, yon ka tawn hoeh e taminaw hah a thei awh teh, Judahnaw hah a rektap awh dawkvah, Izip ram teh tami kingkadi lah ao han. Edom ram haiyah kahrawng patetlah kingdi han.
Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, in that they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 Judah ram teh yungyoe e ram, Jerusalem khopui teh a yungyoe kangning e khopui lah ao han.
But Judah shall abide for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 BAWIPA teh Zion mon dawk ao dawkvah, hote khocanaw a thei awh dawkvah ka khang sak hoeh rae Judahnaw e thiphu hah bout ka pathung han.
And I will purge them from the blood from which I had not purged them: for Jehovah dwelleth in Zion.
