Jeremiah 31
1 Hatnavah, kai teh Isarel imthungnaw pueng hanlah Cathut lah ka o vaiteh, ahnimouh hai ka tami lah o awh han, telah BAWIPA ni a dei.
At the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh I will become God for all [the] clans of Israel and they they will become for me a people.
2 BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, Isarel hah kâhatnae poe hanlah ka cei navah, tahloi dawk hoi kahloutnaw ni kahrawng vah pahrennae a hmu awh.
Thus he says Yahweh it found favor in the wilderness [the] people of [the] survivors of [the] sword I will go to give rest it Israel.
3 Ahlanae koehoi kai koe kamnuek e BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, ka poutthaihoeh e lungpatawnae hoi lung na pataw, hatdawkvah lungmanae dawk na kâenkhai.
From a distance Yahweh he appeared to me and a love of perpetuity I have loved you there-fore I have prolonged to you covenant loyalty.
4 Na kangdue sak vaiteh kangdue e lah na o han, oe tanglakacuem Isarel, kacakcalah kangdue lah na o han. Tâbaw hoi na kamthoup vaiteh a lungkahawinaw lamnae koe na bawk van han.
Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt O virgin of Israel again you will ornament yourself tambourines your and you will go forth in [the] dancing of merry makers.
5 Misur takha hah Samaria mon dawk na sak vaiteh hot van kho kasaknaw ni amamouh ngai patetlah a ca awh han.
Again you will plant vineyards on [the] hills of Samaria they will plant planters and they will put [them] to use.
6 Ephraim mon dawk khokasaknaw ni, thaw awh haw, maimae BAWIPA Cathut onae koe Zion mon koe cet awh sei telah hramnae tueng a pha han, telah a ti.
For there [will be] a day [when] they will call out watchmen in [the] hill country of Ephraim arise so we may go up Zion to Yahweh God our.
7 Bangkongtetpawiteh, BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, Jakop hanlah lunghawi laihoi la sak awh haw, kalenpounge miphun hanlah hram awh, pathang laihoi pholen awh, oe BAWIPA, kacawirae na tami Isarelnaw rungngang haw, telah dei awh.
For thus - he says Yahweh cry out of Jacob gladness and shout for joy on [the] chief of the nations make a proclamation praise and say save O Yahweh people your [the] remnant of Israel.
8 Khenhaw! atunglae ram dawk hoi ka thokhai vaiteh, talai poutnae koehoi ka pâkhueng awh vaiteh mitdawn, khokkhem, camo ka vawn e napui hoi ka pataw e taminaw moikapap kamkhueng awh han.
Here I [am] about to bring them from a land of [the] north and I will gather them from [the] remotest parts of [the] earth [will be] among them [the] blind and [the] lame [the] pregnant and [one] giving birth alike a company great they will return hither.
9 Mitphi hoi tho awh vaiteh ngaithoumnae hoi ka hrawi awh han, ka lawng e tui koe, kamthuinae kaawm hoeh e lam kalan dawk ka hrawi han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kai teh Isarel e a na pa lah ka o teh, Ephraim teh ka camin lah ao.
With weeping they will come and with supplications I will bring them I will lead them to torrents of water on a path straight not they will stumble in it for I have become of Israel a father and Ephraim [is] firstborn my he.
10 Oe miphunnaw, BAWIPA e lawk thai awh haw, a hlanae ram dawk pâpho awh, Isarel kâkapek sakkung ni bout a pâkhueng han, tukhoumkung ni tuhu a khetyawt e patetlah a khetyawt han.
Hear [the] word of Yahweh O nations and declare in the islands from a distance and say [the] [one who] scattered of Israel he will gather it and he will keep it like a shepherd flock his.
11 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Jakop teh BAWIPA ni a ratang teh, ahni hlak thakaawme kut dawk hoi a rungngang.
For he has ransomed Yahweh Jacob and he has redeemed it from [the] hand of [one too] strong for it.
12 Zion monsom vah la sak laihoi tho awh vaiteh BAWIPA hawinae dawk lunghawi awh han, cakang, misur hoi satui, tu hoi saringnaw dawk a lunghawi awh han, ahnimae hringnae teh tui awi e takha patetlah ao vaiteh a yungyoe lungmathoenae awm mahoeh toe.
And they will come and they will cry out for joy on [the] height of Zion and they will be radiant because of [the] good thing[s] of Yahweh on grain and on new wine and on fresh oil and on [the] young of [the] flock and herd and it will be life their like a garden watered and not they will repeat to languish again.
13 Tanglakacuem teh lam laihoi a lunghawi vaiteh, thoundoun, hoi minpui, mintawngpanaw hoi a lunghawi awh han. Ahnimae cingounae teh lunghawinae lah coungsak laihoi lung ka mawng sak vaiteh a lungmathoenae dawk hoi lung kahawi sak han.
Then she will rejoice a virgin with dancing and young men and old [men] alike and I will turn mourning their into joy and I will comfort them and I will make glad them from sorrow their.
14 Vaihmanaw teh kathâw e moi hoi kaboumcalah ka paca vaiteh, ka hawinae dawk ka taminaw a lungkuep awh han telah BAWIPA ni a dei.
And I will satisfy [the] appetite of the priests fatness and people my good thing[s] my they will be satisfied [the] utterance of Yahweh.
15 BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, Ramah kho dawk kamthang ka thai, tamikadout rabui laihoi kanae kamthang doeh. Rachel ni a canaw a khui teh a canaw o hoeh toung dawkvah lungpahawi thai kawi lah awm hoeh toe.
Thus - he says Yahweh a voice in Ramah [is] heard a mourning song weeping of bitterness Rachel [is] weeping on children her she has refused to be comforted on children her for there not [is] he.
16 BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, ka hoeh nahanlah na lawk kâpanguep leih, na mitphi hai hui leih, bangkongtetpawiteh, na tawksak e dawk tawkphu a hmu vaiteh, tarannaw e ram dawk hoi bout ban awh han telah BAWIPA ni a dei.
Thus - he says Yahweh restrain voice your from weeping and eyes your from tear[s] for there [will be] a reward for work your [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will return from [the] land of [the] enemy.
17 Nang e tueng poutnae dawk ngaihawinae ao. Na canaw teh bout a ban awh han telah, BAWIPA ni a dei.
And there [is] hope for future your [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will return children to own territory their.
18 Ephraim na khuikanae lawk ka thai doeh, nang nama ni na yue teh kacuete Maitotan patetlah bout na katha sak haw, bout ka ban han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nang teh ka BAWIPA Cathut lah na o.
Certainly I have heard Ephraim bemoaning itself you have disciplined me and I was disciplined like a calf [which] not it had been trained restore me so let me return for you [are] Yahweh God my.
19 Bout ka ban hnukkhu pankângai katang, na yue hnukkhu ka phai ka tabawng teh ka kaya, ka naw nah min mathoenae dawk kaya laihoi duem ka o.
For after turned away I I repented and after was instructed I I slapped on a thigh I was ashamed and also I was humiliated for I bore [the] reproach of youth my.
20 Ephraim teh ka lungpataw e capa, ka kâuep e camo nahoehmaw. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ahni taranlahoi lawk ka dei eiteh ahni khoeroe ka pahnim thai hoeh. Hatdawkvah ka lungthin ni a rabui teh ka lungma roeroe han telah, BAWIPA ni a dei.
¿ A son dear of me [is] Ephraim or? a child of delight for as often as speak I in him certainly I remember him still there-fore they are in a tumult inward parts my for him surely I will have compassion on him [the] utterance of Yahweh.
21 Mitnoutnae a vo nateh, ram mitnoutnae hah sak haw. Na cei tangcoungnae lamthungpui dawk na lungthin hrueng haw. Bout ban, oe tanglakacuem Isarel na khopui koe bout ban leih.
Set up for yourself signposts place for yourself guideposts set heart your to the highway [the] way ([which] you went *Q(K)*) return O virgin of Israel return to cities your these.
22 Oe, nang hnuklah ka ban e canu, bangkongmaw na kâva han rah. Bangkongtetpawiteh BAWIPA ni talai dawk hno katha a sak toe. Napui ni tongpa a kalup han telah, a ti.
Until when? will you vacillate! O daughter apostate for he has created Yahweh a new [thing] on the earth a female she will surround a man.
23 Isarel Cathut, ransahu BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, santoungnae thung hoi ka bankhai torei teh, Judah ram hoi khopui dawk hete lawk bout a hno awh han, oe lannae khosaknae hmuen, oe mon kathoung BAWIPA ni yawhawinae poe seh, telah a ti.
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel again people will say the word this in [the] land of Judah and in cities its when turn back I captivity their may he bless you Yahweh O abode of righteousness O mountain of holiness.
24 Hote Judah taminaw hoi a khopui thung e taminaw pueng hah, hmuen touh koe takhakatawkkungnaw hoi saring ka pacanaw hoi kho rei ka sak awh han.
And they will dwell in it Judah and all cities its together farmers and they will journey with flock.
25 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka voutthoupnaw ka kawk vaiteh, lung ka mathoutnaw hai ka kawk han telah a ti.
For I give water to [the] throat of [the] weary and every person [who] it has become faint I fill.
26 Hahoi, ka kâhlaw teh, kahawipoung e mang lah doeh a la o.
On this I awoke and I looked and sleep my it was pleasing to me.
27 Khenhaw! a tueng kuep tawmlei, Isarel imthung hoi Judah imthung dawk tami e cati hoi saring e cati ka tu han telah, BAWIPA ni a dei.
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will sow [the] house of Israel and [the] house of Judah [the] seed of humankind and [the] seed of animal[s].
28 Kai ni ahnimouh ka phawk, ka pakhup pathan, ouk ka rektap e patetlah, ahnimouh bout ka kangdue sak han telah a ti.
And it will be just as I kept watch over them to pluck up and to pull down and to tear down and to destroy and to do harm so I will keep watch over them to build and to plant [the] utterance of Yahweh.
29 Hatnae tueng dawk a napanaw ni ka thut e misur a nei awh vaiteh a capanaw a hâ kayâ, tet awh mahoeh toe.
In the days those not people will say again fathers they have eaten sour grape[s] and [the] teeth of children they will be blunt.
30 Hatei taminaw pueng mae sak payonnae dawk a due awh vaiteh, kathut e misurtui ka net e hânaw dueng doeh a kayâ han toe.
That except everyone for own iniquity his he will die every person who eats the sour grape[s] they will be blunt teeth his.
31 Khenhaw! atueng kuep tawmlei telah, BAWIPA ni a dei, Isarel imthung hoi Judah imthung koe lawkkam katha ka sak toteh,
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will make with [the] house of Israel and with [the] house of Judah a covenant new.
32 Izip ram dawk hoi tâcokhai hanlah ahnimae kut ka kuet hnin vah a na mintoenaw koe, ahnimae vâ lah ka o eiteh a rapha awh e ka lawkkam patetlah laipalah, telah BAWIPA ni a dei.
Not like the covenant which I made with ancestors their on [the] day took hold I on hand their to bring out them from [the] land of Egypt who they they broke covenant my and I I was a husband over them [the] utterance of Yahweh.
33 Hatei hetheh, Isarel imthungnaw koe lawkkamnae ka sak han e doeh, telah BAWIPA ni a dei. Ahnimouh koe ka kâlawk ka hruek vaiteh a lungthin dawk ka thut han, kai ahnimae Cathut lah ka o vaiteh, ahnimouh teh ka tami lah o awh han.
That this [is] the covenant which I will make with [the] house of Israel after the days those [the] utterance of Yahweh I will put law my in inner being their and on heart their I will write it and I will become for them God and they they will become for me a people.
34 Apipatet nihai, BAWIPA teh panuek telah ma hoi imri hoi hmaunawngha cangkhai mahoeh toe. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kathoengca koehoi kalenpoung totouh abuemlahoi kai na panue awh han toe, telah BAWIPA ni a dei. Kâtapoenae naw ka ngaithoum vaiteh yonnae naw hai ka pâkuem pouh mahoeh toe.
And not they will teach again each neighbor his and each brother his saying know Yahweh for all of them they will know me from little their and unto great their [the] utterance of Yahweh that I will forgive iniquity their and sin their not I will remember again.
35 Hettelah BAWIPA teh khodai ang sak hanlah kanî kapoekung, karum angnae ka poe hanlah thapa hoi âsi hanlah phunglam kapoukpouhkung, tuicapa pawlawk kathosakkung ni a dei. A min teh ransahu BAWIPA doeh.
Thus - he says Yahweh [who] gives [the] sun for light by day [the] fixed order of [the] moon and [the] stars for light night [who] stirs up the sea and they roared waves its [is] Yahweh of hosts name his.
36 Hete phunglamnaw heh, ka mithmu hoi kahmat pawiteh Isarel catounnaw hai ka mithmu vah miphun buet touh a coungnae dawk hoi a kahma awh han, telah BAWIPA ni a dei.
If they will depart the fixed order these from to before me [the] utterance of Yahweh also [the] offspring of Israel they will cease from being a nation before me all the days.
37 BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, lathueng e kalvan bangnue thai teh, talaidu pâlei thai pawiteh, Isarel catounnaw pueng a tawksak payonnae naw dawk ka raphoe van han telah BAWIPA ni a dei.
Thus - he says Yahweh if they will be measured [the] heavens from to above so they may be explored [the] foundations of [the] earth downwards also I I will reject all [the] offspring of Israel on all that they have done [the] utterance of Yahweh.
38 Khenhaw! atu a pha tawmlei, Hananel imrasang hoi kamtawng teh khopui takin longkha totouh, khopui hah BAWIPA hanlah sak lah ao han, telah BAWIPA ni a dei.
Here! (days [are] coming *Q(K)*) [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will be rebuilt the city for Yahweh from [the] tower of Hananel [the] gate of the corner.
39 A bangnuenae teh Gereb mon dawk kalancalah a cei vaiteh Goah lah a kalup han.
And it will go out again ([the] line of *Q(K)*) measurement before itself to [the] hill of Gareb and it will turn Goah towards.
40 Tami ro hoi hraba rabawknae tanghlingnaw hoi kahrawngnaw pueng, Kidron palang tanghling totouh. Kanîtholah hoi marang longkha takin totouh BAWIPA hanlah kathounge lah ao han. Hothateh nâtuek hai kapek e hoi raphoe e lah awm mahoeh toe.
And all the valley of the corpses - and the fatty ash and all (the terraced fields *Q(K)*) to [the] wadi of Kidron to [the] corner of [the] gate of the horses east-ward [will be] holy to Yahweh not it will be plucked up and not it will be torn down again for ever.
