Jeremiah 15
1 Hathnukkhu BAWIPA ni kai koevah, Mosi hoi Samuel teh ka hmalah ka ratoum roi nakunghai, hete taminaw koe lah ka lungthin kamlang pom mahoeh. Ka hmuhoehnae koe pâlei nateh koung kahmat naseh.
Then sayde the Lord vnto me, Though Moses and Samuel stoode before mee, yet mine affection coulde not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them depart.
2 Ahnimanaw ni vah, nâ lah maw ka cei awh han, tetpawiteh, BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, due hanlah kaawmnaw teh a due awh han, tahloi hanlah kaawmnaw hah teh tahloi hoi a due awh han, kamlum hanlah kaawmnaw teh a kamlum awh han, santoung hanlah kaawmnaw teh san a toung awh han.
And if they say vnto thee, Whither shall we depart? then tell them, Thus saith the Lord, Such as are appointed to death, vnto death: and such as are for the sworde, to the sworde: and such as are for the famine, to the famine: and such as are for the captiuitie, to the captiuitie.
3 Hote taminaw ka raphoe nahanlah hno pali touh ka patoun han telah BAWIPA ni ati. Ka thet hanelah tahloi, tami ka kei hanelah uinaw, ka cat hanelah kalvan e tavanaw hoi talai dawk e moimathengnaw hah doeh.
And I wil appoint ouer them foure kindes, sayth the Lord, the sworde to slay, and the dogs to teare in pieces, and the soules of the heauen, and the beastes of the earth to deuoure, and to destroy.
4 Judah siangpahrang Hezekiah capa Manasseh ni Jerusalem vah hno a sak e dawkvah, ahnimouh teh talai uknaeramnaw pueng ni a tarawk awh nahanelah a sak han.
I will scatter them also in all kingdomes of the earth, because of Manasseh the sonne of Hezekiah King of Iudah, for that which he did in Ierusalem.
5 Oe Jerusalem apinimaw nang hah na pahren han. Apinimaw nang lungmathoekhai han. Nang e kong pacei hanelah apinimaw cawp a kangdue han.
Who shall then haue pitie vpon thee, O Ierusalem? or who shalbe sorie for thee? or who shall go to pray for thy peace?
6 Nangmouh ni kai hah na pahnawt awh, telah BAWIPA ni a dei, hnuklah na ban awh. Hatdawkvah, na lathueng vah ka kut ka tha vaiteh, nang hah na raphoe han, ka lunghnonae ka hmawt toe.
Thou hast forsaken me, sayth the Lord, and gone backward: therefore wil I stretch out mine hand against thee, and destroy thee: for I am weary with repenting.
7 A lamthung dawk hoi a ban ngai awh hoeh dawkvah, ram kalupnae longkha koe ka pâsei vaiteh, a canaw hah ka thei pouh han.
And I wil scatter them with the fanne in the gates of the earth I haue wasted, and destroyed my people, yet they would not returne from their wayes.
8 Ahnimae lahmainaw hah tuipui teng e sadi patetlah kapap sak han. A manunaw kathetkung thoundounnaw hah kanîthun vah ka patoun han, dongdengca dawk ahnimouh van vah takitho lungpuennae hah ka pha sak han.
Their widdowes are increased by mee aboue the sande of the sea: I haue brought vpon them, and against the assembly of the yong men a destroyer at noone day: I haue caused him to fal vpon them, and the citie suddenly, and speedily.
9 Ca tongpa sari touh ka khe e a manu a thabaw teh a hringnae a thouk. Ahnie khosei teh khodai nah a loum, ahni teh yeirai hoi lungpout lah ao. A tarannaw hmalah kahloutnaw teh kai ni tahloi hoi ka thei han, telah BAWIPA ni ati.
Shee that hath borne seuen, hath bene made weake: her heart hath failed: the sunne hath failed her, whiles it was day: she hath bene confounded, and ashamed, and the residue of them will I deliuer vnto the sworde before their enemies, sayth the Lord.
10 Oe anu, ka yaw a thoe! talai van pueng kâyue e hoi kâtapoe hanelah vai kai heh na khe khe! Api koehai a ca hane lahoi laiba ka tawn hoeh, ayâ ni hai kai koe laiba tawn hoeh ei, tami pueng ni lawkthoeumkha na bap awh.
Wo is mee, my mother, that thou hast borne mee, a contentious man, and a man that striueth with the whole earth I haue neither lent on vsury, nor men haue lent vnto me on vsurie: yet euery one doeth curse me.
11 BAWIPA ni vah, atangcalah nang hah na hlout sak han. Runae tueng nah, rektapnae tueng nah, na tarannaw hah nang koevah, pahrennae ka kâhei sak han.
The Lord sayd, Surely thy remnant shall haue wealth: surely I will cause thine enemie to intreate thee in the time of trouble, and in the time of affliction.
12 Sum ni atunglae sum hoi stil a khoe thai han na maw.
Shall the yron breake the yron, and the brasse that commeth from the North?
13 Na ram thung pueng vah yonnae na sak e dawkvah, na bawinae hoi na tawnta e pueng aphu laipalah na lawp e patetlah ahnimae kut dawk ka poe han.
Thy substance and thy treasures wil I giue to be spoyled without gaine, and that for all thy sinnes euen in all thy borders.
14 Na panue hoeh e ram koe na tarannaw koevah san lah na ta han. Ka lungkhuek dawk nangmouh lathueng patawi hane hmai teh a kamtawi toe.
And I wil make thee to go with thine enemies into a land that thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burne you.
15 Oe! BAWIPA nang ni na panue. Kai hah pou na pouk teh, na pai sin hanelah na tho toteh, na karektapnaw kalan lah lawkceng haw. Ahnimanaw he na panguep teh kai na thet hanh loe. Kai ni nang hanlah dudamnae ka khang e heh na pahnim pouh hanh.
O Lord, thou knowest, remember me, and visite me, and reuenge me of my persecuters: take mee not away in the continuance of thine anger: know that for thy sake I haue suffered rebuke.
16 Na lawknaw hah a kamnue teh, ka ca! na lawk teh kai hanlah lunghawinae hoi lungthin phunepnae lah ao. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Oe ransahu BAWIPA na min lahoi na kaw e lah ka o.
Thy wordes were founde by me, and I did eate them, and thy worde was vnto me the ioy and reioycing of mine heart: for thy Name is called vpon me, O Lord God of hostes.
17 Pawito kamkhuengnaw koevah, ka tahung hoeh, ahnimouh hoi lunghawinae ka hmawng boihoeh, na kut ka van ao dawkvah kamadueng ka tahung, bangkongtetpawiteh, lunghawihoehnae hoi na kawi sak.
I sate not in the assembly of the mockers, neither did I reioyce, but sate alone because of thy plague: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
18 Bangkongmaw ka patawnae heh ahawi thai hoeh, ka hmâ heh hawi han ka ngaihoeh e patetlah hawi thai hoeh bo vaw, Kai hanlah kâuep han kamcuhoeh e tui tang ka hak e patetlah maw ao vaiyoe.
Why is mine heauines continuall? and my plague desperate and cannot be healed? why art thou vnto me as a lyar, and as waters that faile?
19 Hatdawkvah, BAWIPA ni hettelah a dei, bout na ban pawiteh, na bankhai vaiteh, ka hmalah bout na kangdue han. Cungkeihoehe thung hoi sungren e hno dueng na dei pawiteh, kaie lawk karingkung lah ao han. Ahnimouh ni nang koe lah kamlang boilah, nang teh ahnimouh koe lah na kamlang mahoeh.
Therefore thus saith the Lord, If thou returne, then wil I bring thee againe, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take away the precious from the vile, thou shalt be according to my worde: let them returne vnto thee, but returne not thou vnto them.
20 Hete taminaw thung vah rahum tapang na sak han, ahni ni nang hah na tuk awh han eiteh, nang rungngang hanelah, na teng ka o dawkvah, ahnimouh ni nang na tâ awh mahoeh, telah BAWIPA ni ati.
And I will make thee vnto this people a strong brasen wall, and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee to saue thee and to deliuer thee, saith ye Lord.
21 Tamikathoutnaw kut dawk hoi na rungngang vaiteh, takitho e taminaw e kut dawk hoi nang teh na ratang han.
And I will deliuer thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeeme thee out of the hand of the tyrants.
