Isaiah 62
1 Zion khopui tie Jerusalem khopui e lannae hah angnae patetlah rungngangnae hah ka ang e hmaiim patetlah a kamnue hoehroukrak kai teh duem kaawm mahoeh.
For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her triumph go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a torch that burneth.
2 Jentelnaw ni a lannae a hmu vaiteh, siangpahrangnaw ni na bawilennae a hmu awh han. BAWIPA pahni dawk hoi ka tâcawt e min katha lahoi nang na kaw awh han.
And the nations shall see thy triumph, and all kings thy glory; and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall mark out.
3 BAWIPA kut dawk e bawilennae bawilukhung hoi na Cathut kut dawk e bawinaw e bawilukhung lah na o han.
Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the open hand of thy God.
4 Nang teh pahnawt e tami tet mahoeh toe. Na ram hai tami kingdinae telah tet mahoeh toe. Hatei, ngai kaawm e telah ati awh vaiteh, BAWIPA teh nangmouh dawk a lunghawi vaiteh, na ram hai vâ a tawn han toe.
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate; but thou shalt be called, My delight is in her, and thy land, Espoused; for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.
5 Thoundoun ni tanglakacuem a paluen e patetlah na capanaw ni a yu lah a paluen han. Yu ka paluen e thoundoun ni a ham e tanglakacuem dawk a lunghawi e patetlah na Cathut hai nang dawk a lunghawi han.
For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 Oe, Jerusalem, rapan kalupnae hah ramvengnaw ka ring sak teh, karum khodai nâtuek hai duem awm awh mahoeh.
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, they shall never hold their peace day nor night: 'Ye that are the LORD'S remembrancers, take ye no rest,
7 Jerusalem kho a caksak teh, pholennae lah ao hoehnahlan totouh BAWIPA hah duem kâhat sak awh hanh.
And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.'
8 BAWIPA ni a rang lae kut a tha kaawm pounge a kutbuembue noe lahoi, lawk a kam teh, na tarannaw koe nangmae na tawk tangcoung e misurtui net awh mahoeh toe.
The LORD hath sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength: Surely I will no more give thy corn to be food for thine enemies; and strangers shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured;
9 Hatei, katawkkungnaw ni a ca awh vaiteh, BAWIPA hah a pholen awh han. Cungtalah ka thokhai e naw ni, ka hmuen kathoung thongma dawk misurtui a nei awh han.
But they that have garnered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD, and they that have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.
10 Longkha dawk hoi tâcawt awh, tâcawt awh. Taminaw cei nahan lam rakueng awh. Talai paten awh. Talungnaw takhoe awh. Taminaw hanelah mitnoutnae vo awh.
Go through, go through the gates, clear ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway, gather out the stones; lift up an ensign over the peoples.
11 BAWIPA ni talai apout totouh hanelah a pâpho toe. Zion canu koe hettelah dei pouh awh. Rungngangnae teh a pha roeroe han. Khenhaw! tawkphu teh ama koe ao teh, a sak e hai a hmalah ao.
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth: say ye to the daughter of Zion: 'Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.'
12 Ahnimanaw teh BAWIPA ni ratang e tami, kathounge taminaw, ati awh han. Nang teh pâphawng e, ceitakhai hoeh e khopui ati awh han telah a ti.
And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and thou shalt be called Sought out, a city not forsaken.
