< Isaiah 6 >

1 Uzziah siangpahrang a duenae kum dawkvah, tawm lah kaawm e BAWIPA teh bawitungkhung van a tahung e hah ka hmu. A khohna ni bawkim dawk muen akawi.
In the year that king Uzziah died, I also saw the LORD sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.
2 Tungkhung e avoivang lah, Seraphimnaw teh a kangdue awh. Hote Seraphimnaw teh, rathei taruk touh rip a tawn awh. Rathei kahni touh hoi a minhmai, kahni touh hoi a khoknaw hah a ramuk awh teh, kahni touh hoi a kamleng awh.
Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.
3 Buet touh ni buet touh koe, Rasahu BAWIPA teh a thoung, a thoung, a thoung, talai van pueng teh a bawilennae hoi akawi telah a hramkhai awh.
One called to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts. The whole earth is full of his glory."
4 Hottelah hram e lawk ni longkha e khomdunaw a kâhuet sak teh, hmaikhu hoi im teh akawi.
The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
Then I said, "Woe is me. For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts."
6 Hattoteh Seraphim buet touh ni, thuengnae khoungroe dawk e paitei hoi a sin e hmaisaan hah a kut hoi a kuet teh kai ka onae koe kamleng laihoi a tho teh,
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
7 ka pahni hah a nep teh, hete hmaisaan ni na pahni a kânep toe. Na payonnae teh takhoe lah ao toe. Na yon hai thoungsak lah ao toe ati.
He touched my mouth with it, and said, "Look, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sins forgiven."
8 Hahoi, BAWIPA ni dei e lawk bout ka thai. Kai ni apimaw ka patoun han. Kai hanelah apimaw ka cet han, ati navah, kai ni kai ka o, kai na patoun loe ka ti pouh.
I heard the LORD's voice, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here I am. Send me."
9 BAWIPA ni, hote miphunnaw onae koe cet nateh, na thai awh eiteh, na thai panuek awh hoeh. Na hmu awh eiteh, na nout awh hoeh tet pouh.
And he said, "Go, and tell this people, 'In hearing you hear, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not perceive.'
10 A mit hmawt awh hoeh, a hna thai awh hoeh, a nuen kâthung awh hoeh, a patawnae karoumsak hoeh nahan totouh, a lungthin mom sak, a hnâpang sak, a mitdawn sak pouh ati.
The heart of this people has grown dull, and their ears sluggish, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn back, and I would heal them."
11 Hatnavah, kai ni, Oe BAWIPA nâtotouh maw telah ka pacei navah, kho thung khoca o hoeh nahanelah, im thung imkung o hoeh nahanelah, koung raphoe vaiteh, ram thung tami kingkadi lah ao totouh thoseh,
Then I said, "LORD, how long?" He answered, "Until cities are waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land becomes utterly waste,
12 BAWIPA ni taminaw hah ahlanae koe a thak vaiteh, ram teh kingkadi lah ao totouh thoseh a saw han ati.
and the LORD has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
13 Hote ram dawk hra touh dawk buet touh ka cawi rah nakunghai, hote ka cawi e hah boutbout raphoe lah ao han. Hatei, hmaica thing hoi bengkeng thingnaw tâtueng teh, a thongmui a cawi e patetlah kathounge catoun teh hote ram dawk thongmui lah ao han.
If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remains when they are felled. The holy seed is its stock."
