1 Oe, tui kahran pueng, tui aonae koe tho awh. Tangka ka tawn hoeh naw tho awh. Ran awh nateh net awh. Tangka hoi aphu poe laipalah tho awh nateh misurtui hoi sanutui ran awh haw.
Ho, every thirsty one, come ye to the waters, And he who hath no money, Come ye, buy and eat, yea, come, buy Without money and without price, wine and milk.
2 Rawca lah kaawm hoeh e dawk nangmouh ni na tangka thoseh, von ka paha thai hoeh e dawk na hnopai thoseh bangkongmaw na pâbaw awh. Ka lawk thai awh haw. Kahawie rawca hah cat awh. Na hringnae a nawm han.
Why do ye weigh money for that which is not bread? And your labour for that which is not for satiety? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat good, And your soul doth delight itself in fatness.
3 Na hnâpakeng awh nateh, thai awh haw. Hottelah na tet awh pawiteh, nangmae muitha teh a hring han. Kai ni hai, nangmouh hoi a yungyoe lawkkamnae ka sak vaiteh, Devit dawk lungmanae ka caksak han.
Incline your ear, and come unto me, Hear, and your soul doth live, And I make for you a covenant age-during, The kind acts of David — that are stedfast.
4 Khenhaw! ahni teh, tami pueng hanelah, kapanuekkhaikung lah ka o sak hane thoseh, taminaw hanelah kahrawikung kacue lah thoseh, miphunnaw koe ka poe toe.
Lo, a witness to peoples I have given him, A leader and commander to peoples.
5 BAWIPA Cathut hoi Isarel Tami Kathoung kecu dawk, na panue boihoeh e miphun hah na kaw han. Nang na ka panuek boihoeh e miphun hah, nang koe a yawng han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, a bawilennae caksak toe telah ati.
Lo, a nation thou knowest not, thou callest, And a nation who know thee not unto thee do run, For the sake of Jehovah thy God, And for the Holy One of Israel, Because He hath beautified thee.
6 Hmu thai lahun nah BAWIPA hah tawng awh, a hnai lahun nah ama hah kaw awh.
Seek ye Jehovah, while He is found, Call ye Him, while He is near,
7 Tamikathout ni a lamthung cettakhai naseh. Tamikalan hoeh e ni a pouknae thoseh, a pahnawt vaiteh, BAWIPA koe ban naseh. Hottelah tetpawiteh, a pahren han. Maimae Cathut koe kâthung naseh, hottelah tetpawiteh, a ngaithoum han.
Forsake doth the wicked his way, And the man of iniquity his thoughts, And he returneth to Jehovah, and He pitieth him, And unto our God for He multiplieth to pardon.
8 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka pouknae heh, nangmae pouknae hoi kâvan hoeh. Ka lamthung hai na lamthung hoi kâvan hoeh telah BAWIPA ni ati.
For not My thoughts [are] your thoughts, Nor your ways My ways, — an affirmation of Jehovah,
9 Kalvan heh talai hlak a rasang e patetlah ka lamthung hai na lamthung hlak a rasang teh, ka pouknae hai na pouknae hlak a rasang.
For high have the heavens been above the earth, So high have been My ways above your ways, And My thoughts above your thoughts.
10 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ratui hoi tadamtui teh, kalvan hoi a rak teh bout ban toung laipalah, cati kahei koe cati hah a poe teh, rawca ka cat hane koe rawca hah a poe thai nahan, talai a duk sak teh, a kung a pâw sak teh, a paw a paw sak e patetlah,
For, as come down doth the shower, And the snow from the heavens, And thither returneth not, But hath watered the earth, And hath caused it to yield, and to spring up, And hath given seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,
11 Ka kâko hoi ka tâcawt e ka lawk teh ao han. Ayawmlah kama koe bout ban mahoeh. Ka ngainae a kuep sak vaiteh, ka patoun ngainae dawk kuepcingnae a hmu han.
So is My word that goeth out of My mouth, It turneth not back unto Me empty, But hath done that which I desired, And prosperously effected that [for] which I sent it.
12 Bangkongtetpawiteh, lunghawi laihoi na tâco awh vaiteh, karoumcalah na ceikhai awh han. Montang monruinaw ni nangmae hmalah la a sak awh han. Kahrawng e thingnaw pueng ni a kuttabawng awh han.
For with joy ye go forth, And with peace ye are brought in, The mountains and the hills Break forth before you [with] singing, And all trees of the field clap the hand.
13 Pâkhing yueng lah hmaica, pho yueng lah tuihannaw a pâw han. Hote hno teh BAWIPA hanelah minhawinae hoi, kahmat thai hoeh e a yungyoe mitnout lah ao han.
Instead of the thorn come up doth fir, Instead of the brier come up doth myrtle, And it hath been to Jehovah for a name, For a sign age-during — it is not cut off!
