1 Ramke hoi ka ke e talai teh a lunghawi awh han. Ayawn hai a lunghawi vaiteh, a kamhlawng han.
The wilderness and the parched land shall be glad, And the desert rejoice and blossom as the rose;
2 Puenghoi kamhlawng vaiteh, lunghawinae hoi la saknae hoi a lunghawi awh han. Ahni ni Lebanon mon e bawilennae hai thoseh, Karmel mon hoi Sharon hmuen meihawinae hai thoseh, poe lah ao han. Ahni teh BAWIPA e lentoenae, maimae Cathut e bawilennae hah a hmu awh han.
It shall blossom abundantly, and exult with joy and singing; The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it; The beauty of Carmel and Sharon; They shall behold the glory of Jehovah, The majesty of our God;
3 Tha ka baw e kutnaw hah tha awm sak awh. Pouk ka ca e khokpakhu hah caksak awh.
Strengthen ye the weak hands, And confirm the tottering knees!
4 Lung ka tâsue e naw na lung tha awm sak awh. Taket awh hanh awh telah tet awh. Khenhaw! Nangmae Cathut teh moipathungnae, Cathut e runae poenae hoi a tho han, nangmouh na rungngang han.
Say ye to the faint-hearted, “Be ye strong; fear ye not; Behold your God! Vengeance cometh, the retribution of God; He will come and save you!”
5 Hat toteh, mitdawnnaw ni mit bout hmawt awh vaiteh, hnâpangnaw ni hnâ bout a thai awh han.
Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened, And the ears of the deaf be unstopped.
6 Khokkhemnaw ni sayuk patetlah a doukcouk awh han. Lawkanaw ni hai la a sak awh han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ramke um vah tui puk tâcawt vaiteh, thingyeiyawn dawk tui a lawng han.
Then shall the lame leap like the hart, And the tongue of the dumb shall sing; For in the wilderness shall waters break forth, And streams in the desert.
7 Kâan poung e thingyei teh, tuikamuem lah ao awh han. Ka ke e talai teh tuiphuek lah ao han. Kahrawnguinaw a inae lungpum yueng lah marangpho a paw han.
The glowing sands shall become a pool, And the thirsty ground springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where they lie, Shall be a place for reeds and rushes.
8 Hote hmuen koe lamthungpui awm vaiteh, thoungnae lamthung telah a phung awh han. Kathounghoehe naw teh, hote lamthung dawk dawn awh mahoeh. Hote lamthung teh, hote lamthung dawk ka dawn naw e lah ao teh, a pathu awh nakunghai lam phen a mahoeh toe.
And a path shall be there, and a highway, And it shall be called the holy way; No unclean person shall pass over it; it shall be for them alone; He that therein goeth in this way, though a fool, shall not err therein.
9 Hote hmuen dawk bangpatet e sendek hai awm mahoeh. Ka matheng e sarang buet touh boehai hote lamthung dawk luen awh mahoeh. Ratang e naw ni duengdoeh hote lamthung teh a dawn awh han.
No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up thereon; It shall not be found there; But the redeemed shall walk there.
10 BAWIPA ni a ratang e naw teh bout tho awh vaiteh, la sak laihoi Zion kho dawk a kâen awh han. A yungyoe lunghawinae teh ahnimae lû dawk ao han. Ahnimouh teh lunghawinae hoi lungnawmnae tawn awh vaiteh, lungmathoenae hoi cingounae teh a yawng awh han toe.
Yea, the ransomed of Jehovah shall return; They shall come to Zion with songs: Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
