And Jehovah said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years, a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,
4 Siria siangpahrang ni Izipnaw hoi Kushnaw kacue kanaw pueng teh, khohna hnat laipalah, khokkhawm khawm laipalah, laheibaw boehai ramuk laipalah, a hrawi awh han. Hethateh, Izip ram e yeiraiponae doeh.
so shall the king of Assyria lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, [to] the shame of Egypt.
5 Hatnavah, Ashdod khocanaw ni a taki awh han. Ahnimouh ni a kâuep awh e Kush ram hai thoseh, a kâoupkhai awh e Izip ram hai thoseh yeiraipo hoi ao awh han.
And they shall be terrified and ashamed of Ethiopia their confidence, and of Egypt their boast.
6 Hot hnin vah, hote palang rai kaawm e naw ni hai, khenhaw! Assiria siangpahrang e kut dawk hoi hlout nahanelah, maimouh ni ngaihawi teh kângue e naw koe, hettelah bo ao aw. Hat pawiteh, maimouh teh bangtelah hoi maw hlout thai awh han toung vaw, ati awh han a ti.
And the inhabitants of this coast shall say in that day, Behold, such is our confidence, whither we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and how shall we escape?
