< Isaiah 15 >
1 Hethateh, Moab hoi kâkuen e lawk doeh. Moab ram Ar kho teh tangmin buet touh hoi rawknae koe a pha. Moab ram teh khoeroe a rawk toe. Moab ram Kir kho teh tangmin buet touh hoi rawknae koe a pha. Moab ram teh khoeroe a rawk toe.
The burden of Moab. Because Ar of Moab has been destroyed by night, it is utterly silent. Because the wall of Moab has been destroyed by night, it is utterly silent.
2 Khocanaw teh Dibon kho, a rasangnae koe e bawkim koe a cei awh teh a khuika awh. Moab khocanaw teh, Nebo kho, Medeba kho hah a khuikakhai awh. Ahnimae lû dawk sam awm hoeh, ahnimae pâkhamuen pueng teh koung a ngaw awh.
The house has ascended with Dibon to the heights, in mourning over Nebo and over Medeba. Moab has wailed. There will be baldness on all of their heads, and every beard will be shaven.
3 Lamthung dawk buri a khohna awh teh, lemphu hai thoseh, lam dawk hai thoseh, kaawm e pueng ni a khuika awh teh, mitphi dawk a kâkaawk awh.
At their crossroads, they have been wrapped with sackcloth. On their rooftops and in their streets, everyone descends, wailing and weeping.
4 Heshbon kho hoi Elealeh kho vah a khuika awh teh, Jahaz kho totouh a kâthai. Moab ransanaw hai pâyaw laihoi a khuika awh.
Heshbon will cry out with Elealeh. Their voice has been heard as far as Jahaz. Over this, the well-equipped men of Moab wail; each soul will wail to itself.
5 Kaie ka lungthin hai Moab hanelah a kâ van. Ka yawng e taminaw teh kum thum touh e, maitola patetlah Zoar kho totouh a kâhêi awh. Luhith mon dawk mitphi bo laihoi a luen awh. Horonaim kho koelah ceinae lamthung dawk hai, rawk kahmanae khuika lawk hoi a hram awh.
My heart will cry out to Moab; its bars will cry out even to Zoar, like a three-year-old calf. For they will ascend weeping, by way of the ascent of Luhith. And along the way of Horonaim, they will lift up a cry of contrition.
6 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Nimrim tuinaw kingdi teh, phonaw teh a ke awh toe. Caticamu hai a due toe. Kahring e kung touh boehai awmhoeh.
For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate, because the plants have withered, and the seedling has failed, and all the greenery has passed away.
7 Hatdawkvah, ahnimouh teh, tawnta hnopainaw hah sumpa yawn koe a thokhai awh han.
This is in accord with the magnitude of their works and of their visitation. They will lead them to the torrent of the willows.
8 A khuika lawk ni Moab ram peng a katin. A cingou lawk teh Eglaim kho totouh, Beerelim kho totouh a pha.
For an outcry has circulated along the border of Moab; its wailing even to Eglaim, and its clamor even to the well of Elim.
9 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Dibon tui teh thi hoi akawi. Dibon kho dawk alouke lacik bout ka pha sak han rah. Ka hlout e Moab khocanaw hoi, kacawie khocanaw hanelah sendek hah ka patoun han.
Because the waters of Dibon have been filled with blood, I will place even more upon Dibon: those from Moab who flee the lion, and the survivors of the earth.
