Isaiah 12

1 Hate hnin dawkvah nang ni na dei hane teh, Oe BAWIPA, nang koe ka lung ahawi. Kai koe na lungkhuek ei nakunghai, na lung bout a roum teh, kai hah lung na pahawi toe.

And thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

2 Khenhaw! Cathut teh na kaie rungngangnae doeh. Takinae tawn laipalah, ka taran ahawi han. Jehovah teh ka tha hoi ka la doeh. Kaie rungngangnae lah ao.

Behold, God is my saviour, I will deal confidently, and will not fear: O because the Lord is my strength, and my praise, and he is become my salvation.

3 Nangmouh teh lunghawinae lungthin hoi rungngangnae tuiphuek tui hah na do awh han.

You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour’s fountains:

4 Hate hnin dawkvah, BAWIPA teh pholen awh. A min hah kaw awh. A thaw tawknae hah taminaw koe panuek sak awh. A min lentoenae hah pathang awh.

And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.

5 BAWIPA koe pholen la sak awh. Lentoenae lahoi thaw a tawk toe. Hete heh, talai tami pueng ni panuek awh naseh.

Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.

6 Oe Zion vah kaawm e naw pueng, hram awh nateh, lunghawi la sak awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Isarelnaw e kathoungpounge Cathut teh, nangmae lungui vah a lentoe poung.

Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.
