< Hebru 10 >
1 Bangkongtetpawiteh, kâlawk teh ka tho hane hno kahawinaw e a tâhlip lah ao teh, a katang e lah awmhoeh. Hatdawkvah, kum tangkuem sathei thuengnae lahoi Ama koevah thuengnae kasaknaw teh kuepnae koe phat thai awh hoeh.
For the law, having a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of the things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually yearly, perfect those who approach.
2 Hottelah hoehpawiteh, kabawkkungnaw hah vai touh hoi a yon thoungsak toung vaiteh, yonpennae awm hoeh toung vaiteh sathei thuengnae laipalah awm awh mahoeh namaw.
Since, would they not indeed have ceased being offered, on account of the worshippers once purged having no longer any conscience of sins?
3 Hatei, hottelah thuengnae lahoi a kum tangkuem yonnae boutbout a pouk awh.
But in these [there is] a calling to mind of sins yearly.
4 Bangkongtetpawiteh Maito hoi hmae e a thi ni yonnae hah thoungsak thai hoeh.
For blood of bulls and goats [is] incapable of taking away sins.
Wherefore coming into the world he says, Sacrifice and offering thou willedst not; but thou hast prepared me a body.
6 Bawipa ni hmaisawi thuengnae hoi yon thuengnae hah a ngai e nahoeh.
Thou tookest no pleasure in burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin.
Then I said, Lo, I come (in [the] roll of the book it is written of me) to do, O God, thy will.
8 Ahmaloe vah, kâlawk patetlah thuengnae sak e naw, sathei hoi hno poe e naw, hmaisawi e sathei hoi yonthanae satheinaw hah ka ngai hoeh, hotnaw dawkvah lungkuepnae haiyah ka tawn hoeh, telah a ti.
Above, saying Sacrifices and offerings and burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin thou willedst not, neither tookest pleasure in (which are offered according to the law);
9 Hathnukkhu, Bawipa e ngainae tawk hanelah ka tho, telah ati. Hettelah hoi Bawipa ni apâhni thuengnae hah acak sak teh, apasueke thuengnae hah a takhoe.
then he said, Lo, I come to do thy will. He takes away the first that he may establish the second;
10 Hote ngainae lahoi, Jisuh Khrih ni a tak hah vai touh hoi kakhoutlah a thueng e lahoi maimouh teh yon thoungsak lah o awh.
by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 Vaihmanaw pueng ni hnintangkuem a kangdue awh teh thuengnae hoi yon katha thai hoeh e sathei hah atu hoi atu thuengnae a sak awh.
And every priest stands daily ministering, and offering often the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
12 Hatei, Khrih ni yonnae hanelah vai touh dueng thuengnae lahoi a yungyoe han kakhoutlah a sak hnukkhu, Cathut e aranglah a yungyoe a tahung.
But he, having offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down in perpetuity at [the] right hand of God,
13 Ama e a tarannaw khok toungnae lah ao hoehroukrak ngaihawi laihoi a ring.
waiting from henceforth until his enemies be set [for the] footstool of his feet.
14 Bangkongtetpawiteh Bawipa ni vai touh dueng thuengnae lahoi thoungsak lah kaawm e naw hah yungyoe akuep sak.
For by one offering he has perfected in perpetuity the sanctified.
15 Kathoung Muitha nihaiyah maimouh koe na kampangkhai.
And the Holy Spirit also bears us witness [of it]; for after what was said:
16 Cathut ni atotovah ahnimouh koe ka poe hane lawkkam teh, Kai Cathut ni kâlawknaw hah ahnimae a lungthin dawk ka pakhum pouh han. A lungthin muitha dawk ka thut pouh han, telah a ti.
This [is] the covenant which I will establish towards them after those days, saith [the] Lord: Giving my laws into their hearts, I will write them also in their understandings;
17 Hahoi, Kai ni ahnimae a yonnae hoi kâlawk a tapoenae hah ka pâkuem pouh mahoeh toe telah a ti.
and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will never remember any more.
18 Hottelah yonthanae a onae hmuen koe teh yon hanlah thuengnae bout panki hoeh toe.
But where there [is] remission of these, [there is] no longer a sacrifice for sin.
19 Hatdawkvah, hmaunawnghanaw, maimouh teh Jisuh e thipaling pawlawk dawk hoi hmuen kathoung poung koe kâen hanlah taranhawinae tawn awh.
Having therefore, brethren, boldness for entering into the [holy of] holies by the blood of Jesus,
20 Hote a thi lahoi, Bawipa ni amae tak lah kaawm e lukkarei yap e koehoi hringnae lamthung katha hah na rasoun pouh awh.
the new and living way which he has dedicated for us through the veil, that is, his flesh,
21 Hot dueng tho laipalah, maimouh koevah Cathut imthungkhu ka uk e kalenpounge Vaihma tawn awh dawkvah,
and [having] a great priest over the house of God,
22 maimae lungthin dawk e thoehawi panuenae kahawihoehe teh thoungsak lah o toe, maimae tak hai tui kathoung hoi pâsu lah ao toung dawkvah yuemnae kakuep tawn hoi lungthin katang hoi Cathut hnai awh sei.
let us approach with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, sprinkled as to our hearts from a wicked conscience, and washed as to our body with pure water.
23 Lawkkamnae kapoekung teh lawkkam acak dawkvah pâpho awh e ngaihawinae hah kâhuen sak laipalah caksak awh sei.
Let us hold fast the confession of the hope unwavering, (for he [is] faithful who has promised; )
24 Hahoi, lungpatawnae tawn thai nahan hoi hnokahawi sak thai nahanlah buet touh hoi buet touh tha kâpoe awh nateh kâkhen awh.
and let us consider one another for provoking to love and good works;
25 Tami tangawn ni a sak e patetlah kamkhuengnae pahnawt laipalah, buet touh hoi buet touh kâhruetcuet awh sei. A tue hoehoe a hnai toung dawkvah, hottelah hoe sak awh sei.
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom [is] with some; but encouraging [one another], and by so much the more as ye see the day drawing near.
26 Bangkongtetpawiteh, lawkkatang panue awh hnukkhu, ma ngai lahoi yonnae bout sak awh pawiteh, yonnae tha nahanelah thuengnae bout awmhoeh toe.
For where we sin wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains any sacrifice for sins,
27 Lawkcengnae thoseh, ama ka taran e taminaw raphoe nahane a lungkhueknae hmai thoseh, kak hane taki laihoi ring hane dueng doeh kaawm toe
but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and heat of fire about to devour the adversaries.
Any one that has disregarded Moses' law dies without mercy on [the testimony of] two or three witnesses:
29 Hothloilah, Cathut Capa khok hoi ka coungroe niteh, ama thoungnae lawkkam thipaling hah hno kathoung hoeh lah ka pouk e naw hoi lungmanae hoi ka kâkuen e Muitha ka dudam e naw teh banghloi kalen e reknae maw a khang hanlah a kamcu telah na pouk awh.
of how much worse punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and esteemed the blood of the covenant, whereby he has been sanctified, common, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
For we know him that said, To me [belongs] vengeance; I will recompense, saith the Lord: and again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 Kahring Cathut e kut dawk pha e teh taki a tho poung e hno doeh.
[It is] a fearful thing falling into [the] hands of [the] living God.
But call to mind the earlier days in which, having been enlightened, ye endured much conflict of sufferings;
on the one hand, when ye were made a spectacle both in reproaches and afflictions; and on the other, when ye became partakers with those who were passing through them.
For ye both sympathised with prisoners and accepted with joy the plunder of your goods, knowing that ye have for yourselves a better substance, and an abiding one.
35 Hatdawkvah, tawkphu kalenpoung lah ka awm e na yuemnae kacakpounge hah tâkhawng awh hanh.
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense.
36 Cathut ngainae sak hnukkhu, lawkkam e coe nahanlah nangmouh dawk a panki e hno teh panguepnae doeh.
For ye have need of endurance in order that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.
37 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka tho hane Ahni teh nâsittouh awm mahoeh toe, palang a tho han toe.
For yet a very little while he that comes will come, and will not delay.
38 Tami kalan teh yuemnae lahoi a hring han.
But the just shall live by faith; and, if he draw back, my soul does not take pleasure in him.
39 Hatei, maimanaw teh kamkonae dawk pha hanlah hnuk kâhnawn e tami lah awm awh hoeh, rungngang lah o awh nahanlah ka yuem e tami lah o awh.
But we are not drawers back to perdition, but of faith to saving [the] soul.
