And the snake was shrewd more than every animal of the field which he had made Yahweh God and he said to the woman indeed? that did he say God not you must eat from any tree of the garden.
2 Napui ni tahrun koevah, takha dawk kaawm e thingpawnaw teh na ca thai.
And she said the woman to the snake from [the] fruit of [the] tree[s] of the garden we will eat.
3 Hatei, takha lungui kaawm e thingpaw teh na cat mahoeh. Tek hai na tek mahoeh. Hoehpawiteh, na due han telah Cathut ni ati telah atipouh.
And from [the] fruit of the tree which [is] in [the] middle of the garden he said God not you must eat from it and not you will touch it lest you should die!
4 Tahrun ni napui koe, khoeroe na dout mahoeh.
And he said the snake to the woman not certainly you will die!
5 Bangkongtetpawiteh, a paw na ca hnin vah, na mit ang roi vaiteh, thoe hoi hawi na panue roi han. Cathut boiboe lah na o roi han tie ama Cathut ni a panue dawk doeh telah atipouh.
For [is] knowing God that on [the] day eat you from it and they will be opened eyes your and you will be like God [those who] know good and evil.
6 Hote thingkung teh cakawi kahawi e lah, mitkhet kantang e lah, tami lungkaangsakkung a paw lah a hmu dawkvah, a la teh a ca. Hahoi ateng kaawm e a vâ hai a poe teh a ca.
And she saw the woman that [was] good the tree for food and that [was] a delight it to the eyes and [it was] desirable the tree to make wise and she took some of fruit its and she ate and she gave [it] also to husband her with her and he ate.

And they heard [the] sound of Yahweh God walking about in the garden to [the] wind of the day and he hid himself the man and wife his from before Yahweh God in among [the] tree[s] of the garden.
9 Hatei, BAWIPA Cathut ni Adam a kaw teh, nâmaw na o atipouh.
And he called Yahweh God to the man and he said to him where [are]? you.
10 Tongpa ni, takha thung na lawk ka thai teh, caici lah ka o dawk ka taki teh ka kâhro telah atipouh.
And he said sound your I heard in the garden and I was afraid for [was] naked I and I hid myself.
11 BAWIPA ni, apinimaw nang caici lah na o e hah a dei. Cat hanh ka tie thingpaw hah na ca toung maw telah a pacei.
And he said who? did he tell to you that [were] naked you ¿ from the tree which I commanded you to not to eat from it have you eaten.
12 Tongpa ni nang ni na poe e napui ni thingpaw na poe teh ka ca atipouh.
And he said the man the woman whom you put with me she she gave to me from the tree and I ate.
13 BAWIPA Cathut ni, napui koevah, hete hno heh bangkong maw na sak telah a pacei navah, napui ni, tahrun ni na dum teh ka ca telah atipouh.
And he said Yahweh God to the woman what? this have you done and she said the woman the snake deceived me and I ate.
14 BAWIPA Cathut ni tahrun koevah, hete hno na sak dawkvah, saring hoi moithang pueng hlakvah, thoebo lah na o han. Na vonpui hoi na thawn vaiteh, na hring nathung vaiphu na ca han.
And he said Yahweh God - to the snake for you have done this [are] cursed you more than all livestock and more than every animal of the field on belly your you will go and dust you will eat all [the] days of life your.
15 Nang hoi napui rahak, nang e catoun hoi napui e catoun rahak kai ni kâtarannae ka hruek han. Ahni ni na lû a phawm vaiteh, nang ni ahnie a khokpaimai na phawm pouh han telah atipouh.
And enmity - I will put between you and between the woman and between offspring your and between offspring her he he will bruise you head and you you will bruise him heel.
16 Napui koevah, camo na vawn navah patawnae ka pung sak vaiteh, na khe nah patawnae na khang han. Na ngainae teh na vâ hanelah ao vaiteh, na vâ ni na uk han.
To the woman he said certainly I will increase pain your and pregnancy your with pain you will bear children and [will be] to husband your desire your and he he will rule over you.

And to Adam he said (for *LA(bh)*) you listened to [the] voice of wife your and you ate from the tree which I commanded you saying not you must eat from it [is] cursed the ground for sake of you in pain you will eat it all [the] days of life your.
18 Pâkhingnaw hoi pâkhingkungnaw ka pâw sak vaiteh, law dawk hoi ka tâcawt e apawhik na ca han.
And thorn[s] and thistle[s] will cause to sprout for you and you will eat [the] vegetation of the field.
19 Na tâconae talai lah bout na ban hoehroukrak, na minhmai dawk hoi lahuntui tâco laihoi na ca han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nang teh vaiphu e lah na o dawkvah, vaiphu lah bout na ban han telah atipouh.
By [the] sweat of face your you will eat food until return you to the ground for from it you were taken for [are] dust you and to dust you will return.
20 Hahoi, Adam ni amae yu hah Evi telah min a phung. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ahni teh kahring pueng e a manu lah ao dawk doeh.
And he called the man [the] name of wife his Eve for she she was [the] mother of every living [person].
21 BAWIPA Cathut ni Adam hoi a yu hanlah phaivuen angkidung a sak pouh teh, a khohna sak.
And he made Yahweh God for Adam and for wife his garments of skin and he clothed them.
22 Hahoi, BAWIPA Cathut ni tami teh, maimouh thung dawk e buetbuet touh hoi a kâvan toung dawkvah, thoe hoi hawi a panue toe. Atuteh, yungyoe hringnae coe hanelah a kut a kâyap vaiteh hringnae thingpaw khi vaiteh, a cakawi nahoeh toe telah ati.
And he said - Yahweh God here! the man he has become like one of us by knowing good and evil and therefore - lest he should stretch out hand his and he will take also from [the] tree of life and he will eat and he will live for ever.
23 Hatdawkvah, BAWIPA Cathut ni tami teh ama a tâconae talai dawk thaw tawk hanelah Eden takha thung hoi a pâlei.
And he sent out him Yahweh God from [the] garden of Eden to till the ground where he was taken from there.
24 Hottelah, tami hah a pâlei hnukkhu, avoivang kamrit thai e tahloi hoi Cherubim hah, hringnae thingkung lamthung ka ring hanelah, Eden takha kanîtholah a hruek.
And he drove out the man and he caused to dwell from east of [the] garden of Eden the cherubim and [the] flame of the sword whirling to guard [the] way of [the] tree of life.
