Ezra 1
1 Persia Siangpahrang Sairus a bawi kum pasuek nah, profet Jeremiah e pahni hno lahoi BAWIPA e lawk akuep nahanelah, a uknaeramnaw pueng dawk pathang hanelah, BAWIPA ni Sairus e lungthung a tahrue pouh.
Nowe in the first yere of Cyrus King of Persia (that the worde of the Lord, spoken by the mouth of Ieremiah, might be accomplished) the Lord stirred vp the spirite of Cyrus King of Persia, and hee made a Proclamation thorowe all his Kingdome, and also by writing, saying,
2 Persia siangpahrang Sairas ni a dei e teh, talai uknaeramnaw pueng teh, kalvan kaawm e BAWIPA Cathut ni kai koe na poe toe. Hatdawkvah, Judah ram Jerusalem vah im sak pouh hanelah kâ na poe.
Thus saith Cyrus King of Persia, The Lord God of heauen hath giuen me all the kingdomes of the earth, and he hath commanded me to builde him an house in Ierusalem, which is in Iudah.
3 Nangmouh thung dawk apimaw amae tami lah na kaawm awh. Ahni koe Cathut ni rei awm khai naseh. Judah ram Jerusalem vah cei vaiteh, Isarelnaw e BAWIPA Cathut e im hah sak naseh. Jerusalem vah kaawm e teh BAWIPA doeh.
Who is he among you of all his people with whome his God is? let him goe vp to Ierusalem which is in Iudah, and buylde the house of the Lord God of Israel: he is the God, which is in Ierusalem.
4 Hmuen alouklouk lah kho kasaknaw ni, amamouh aonae koehoi Jerusalem e Cathut im hanelah a lungtho laihoi poe awh e hloilah ngun, tangka hoi sui, hnopai hoi saringnaw hoi kabawm awh naseh atipouh.
And euery one that remayneth in any place (where he soiourneth) let the men of his place relieue him with siluer and with golde, and with substance, and with cattel, and with a willing offring, for the house of God that is in Ierusalem.
5 Hahoi teh, Judah hoi Benjamin miphun imthung kahrawikungnaw hoi vaihmanaw, Levihnaw ni Jerusalem e BAWIPA im sak hanelah Cathut ni lungthin dawk thaw tawk pouh e taminaw pueng hoi a kamthaw awh.
Then the chiefe fathers of Iudah and Beniamin, and the Priests and Leuites rose vp, with al them whose spirit God had raysed to goe vp, to builde the house of the Lord which is in Ierusalem.
6 Amamouh lungtho lahoi poe e dei laipalah, atengpam kaawmnaw ni hai ngun hnopai, sui, saringnaw hoi aphu kaawm poung e hnonaw hoi kabawp awh.
And all they that were about them, strengthened their handes with vessels of siluer, with golde, with substance and with cattell, and with precious thinges, besides all that was willingly offred.
7 Siangpahrang Sairus hoi Nebukhadnezar ni BAWIPA e im dawk e hnopai Jerusalem hoi a sin teh, Cathut e im dawk a ta e naw, hah he a la pouh.
Also the King Cyrus brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of Ierusalem, and had put them in the house of his god.
8 Hote hnopainaw teh, Persia siangpahrang Sairus ni hno karingkung Mithredath kut dawk hoi a la sak teh Judah kahrawikung Sheshbazzar koevah be a parei hnukkhu vah a poe.
Euen them did Cyrus King of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them vnto Sheshbazzar the Prince of Iudah.
9 Hote hno kaawmnaw teh, sui 30, ngun 1,000, sarai 29.
And this is the nomber of them, thirtie basins of golde, a thousand basins of siluer, nine and twentie kniues,
10 Suimanang 30, a phunlouk e ngun 410, alouke hno 1000 touh hoi.
Thirtie boules of gold, and of siluer boules of the second sort, foure hundreth and tenne, and of other vessels, a thousand.
11 Sui hoi ngun hnopai abuemlah 5400 touh a pha. Sannaw teh Babilon hoi Jerusalem lah a cei kh ai navah Sheshbazzar ni hete hnonaw a sin awh.
All the vessels of golde and siluer were fiue thousand and foure hundreth. Sheshbazzar brought vp all with them of the captiuitie that came vp from Babel to Ierusalem.
