1 Kum hlaikahni, thapa yung hlaikahni, hnin pasueknae dawk BAWIPA e lawk kai koe a pha teh,

“Son of man, take up a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him: ‘You are like a lion among the nations; you are like a monster in the seas. You thrash about in your rivers, churning up the waters with your feet and muddying the streams.’
3 Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei. Tamlawk hoi na man han, tami moikapap hoi ka tamlawk hoi na man roeroe han.
This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will spread My net over you with a company of many peoples, and they will draw you up in My net.

I will drench the land with the flow of your blood, all the way to the mountains— the ravines will be filled.
7 Na angnae hah ka padue toteh, kalvan ka ramuk vaiteh, âsi ka mom sak han. Kanî teh tâmai hoi be ka ngue vaiteh, thapa ni a angnae hah poe mahoeh toe.

I will cause many peoples to be appalled over you, and their kings will shudder in horror because of you when I brandish My sword before them. On the day of your downfall each of them will tremble every moment for his life.’
11 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei, Babilon siangpahrang tahloi hah na lathueng vah a pha han.
For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘The sword of the king of Babylon will come against you!

I will make your hordes fall by the swords of the mighty, the most ruthless of all nations. They will ravage the pride of Egypt and all her multitudes will be destroyed.
13 Moikapap e tui teng e saring hah ka raphoe han. Tami e a khok hoi saring e a khok ni tui bout pânut sak mahoeh toe.
I will slaughter all her cattle beside the abundant waters. No human foot will muddy them again, and no cattle hooves will disturb them.
14 Ahnimae tui hah ka pâcim sak vaiteh, palang tui hah satui patetlah ka lawng sak han, telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
Then I will let her waters settle and will make her rivers flow like oil,’

‘When I make the land of Egypt a desolation and empty it of all that filled it, when I strike down all who live there, then they will know that I am the LORD.’
This is the lament they will chant for her; the daughters of the nations will chant it. Over Egypt and all her multitudes they will chant it, declares the Lord GOD.”
17 Kum hlaikahni, thapa yung pasuek, hnin hlaipanga hnin BAWIPA e lawk teh kai koe a pha teh,
In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18 tami capa Izip tamihu hah puenghoi khui haw, ama hoi a min kamthang e, miphun canu tangkom dawk kakumnaw koevah, adungpoungnae dawk bawt awh naseh.
“Son of man, wail for the multitudes of Egypt, and consign her and the daughters of the mighty nations to the depths of the earth with those who descend to the Pit:
19 Nang teh ayâ alouke hlak na meihawi maw, vuensom ka a hoeh e taminaw hoi rei ip lawih.
Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down and be placed with the uncircumcised!
20 Talai hoi thei tangcoung e naw koevah, a rawp awh han, tahloi koe poe e lah ao toe, ama hoi a tami pueng hah he sawn lawih.
They will fall among those slain by the sword. The sword is appointed! Let them drag her away along with all her multitudes.
21 Athakaawme ni sheol thung hoi ahni hoi ahni kabawmkungnaw hah a pato awh han, tahloi hoi thei e vuensoma hoeh e naw a kum awh teh pou a yan awh. (Sheol h7585)
Mighty chiefs will speak from the midst of Sheol about Egypt and her allies: ‘They have come down and lie with the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.’ (Sheol h7585)
22 Hote hmuen dawk Assiria hoi a taminaw ao awh, a phuennaw ni a ma hah a kalup awh, abuemlahoi tahloi hoi a thei teh, kadoutnaw doeh.
Assyria is there with her whole company; her graves are all around her. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword.
23 Tangkom teh kadungpoung e a khu dawkvah ao teh, petkâkalup lah a taminaw hah ao. Abuemlahoi tahloi hoi thei e karawmnaw ka hring ram dawk takinae kaawmsakkungnaw doeh.
Her graves are set in the depths of the Pit, and her company is all around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword— those who once spread terror in the land of the living.
24 Hote hmuen dawk Elam hoi tangkom petkâkalup lah, a taminaw ao awh teh, abuemlahoi tahloi hoi thei e teh karawmnaw, vuensoma laipalah talai rahim ka kum e, kahring e ram dawk takinae kaawmsakkung, yeiraiponae tangkom thung kakumkhaikungnaw doeh.
Elam is there with all her multitudes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword— those who went down uncircumcised to the earth below, who once spread their terror in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit.
25 Thei e naw thung dawk ama hoi a taminaw inae a sak pouh teh, phuen hah ama petkâkalup lah ao. Abuemlahoi vuensom ka a hoeh e, tahloi hoi thei e naw doeh. Lungpuennae teh, ka hring e ram dawkvah, lungpuennae hah doeh. Hatei, tangkom thung kakumnaw hoi yerai a po awh teh thei e naw koe ao sak.
Among the slain they prepare a resting place for Elam with all her hordes, with her graves all around her. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, although their terror was once spread in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit. They are placed among the slain.
26 Hawvah, Meshek hoi Tubal naw hai ao awh. Phuennaw teh petkâkalup lah ao teh, abuemlahoi vuensoma hoeh, tahloi hoi thei e naw doeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, a hringnae ni ka hring e ram dawk lungpuen hah ouk a tho sak awh.
Meshech and Tubal are there with all their multitudes, with their graves all around them. All of them are uncircumcised, slain by the sword, because they spread their terror in the land of the living.
27 Vuensom a hoeh e tami athakaawme ka rawm e, tarantuknae puengcang hoi sheol dawk ka kum e, tahloi hah a lû rahim a hruek teh, a hrunaw dawk amamae yon ao, bangkongtetpawiteh, ahnimouh teh ka hring e ram dawk e tami thasai, lungpuennae kaawmsakkungnaw doeh. (Sheol h7585)
They do not lie down with the fallen warriors of old, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, whose swords were placed under their heads, whose shields rested on their bones, although the terror of the mighty was once in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)
28 Vuensom ka a hoeh e koevah, na rek vaiteh, tahloi hoi kadoutnaw koe na i han.
But you too will be shattered and lie down among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword.
29 Hawvah, Edom siangpahrangnaw hoi a bawi pueng, a thasai awh eiteh, tahloi hoi a thei e naw koevah a yan sak awh. Vuensom ka a hoeh e tangkom thung vah, kakumnaw koe a yan awh.
Edom is there, and all her kings and princes, who despite their might are laid among those slain by the sword. They lie down with the uncircumcised, with those who descend to the Pit.
30 Hawvah, a tung lae bawi pueng, Sidonnaw a thei awh e thung dawk ka kum e ao awh. A thasainae ni tami koe lungpuennae a tho sak eiteh, a kaya awh. Vuensom a laipalah, tahloi hoi a thei e naw koevah, a yan awh teh, tangkom thung kakumnaw hoi yeirai a po awh.
All the leaders of the north and all the Sidonians are there; they went down in disgrace with the slain, despite the terror of their might. They lie uncircumcised with those slain by the sword and bear their shame with those who descend to the Pit.
31 Faro ni a hmu vaiteh, a tamihu pueng a lungmawngsaknae dawk a hno awh han. Faro hoi a ransahu pueng tahloi hoi a thei e hai telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
Pharaoh will see them and be comforted over all his multitude— Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword,
32 Bangkongtetpawiteh, ka hring e ram dawk lungpuennae hah ka o sak teh, vuensom ka a hoeh e tahloi hoi a thei e naw koevah, Faro hoi a tamihunaw a yan awh han.
For I will spread My terror in the land of the living, so that Pharaoh and all his multitude will be laid to rest among the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword,
