Ezekiel 26
1 A kum hlaibun, thapa yung pasuek, hnin pasuek dawkvah, hettelah doeh, BAWIPA e lawk kai koe a pha. Tami capa Taire ni Jerusalem taranlahoi haha! miphunnaw e takhang lah kaawm e a rawk toe khe, kai koe lah a kamlang teh, koung raphoe lah ao vaiteh, kai kama law teh, a cak han telah ati.
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Tami capa Taire ni Jerusalem taranlahoi haha! miphunnaw e takhang lah kaawm e a rawk toe khe, kai koe lah a kamlang teh, koung raphoe lah ao vaiteh, kai kama law teh, a cak han telah ati.
Son of man, because Tyre hath said concerning Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people; she is turned unto me; I shall be made full, now she is laid in ruins:
3 Hatdawkvah, Bawipa Jehovah ni telah a dei, khenhaw! Oe Taire, kai ni na taran, talî ni tuicapa a thaw sak e patetlah nang nama taranlahoi miphun moikapap nang koe ka tho sak han.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, and will bring up against thee many nations, as the sea causeth its waves to come up.
4 Taire rapan hah a raphoe awh vaiteh, imrasangnaw hah a raphoe awh han. Ama koehoi vaiphu hah kathoungcalah ka hui pou vaiteh, ka ke e lungsong lah ka coung sak han.
And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and pull down her towers: I will also flood away her earth from her, and I will change her into a naked rock.
5 Talî lungui e tamlawk yangda rumram nahanelah ao han, bangkongtetpawiteh, kai ni ka dei toe, telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei, hottelah miphunnaw hanelah lawphno lah ao awh han.
A place for the spreading out of nets shall she be in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal: and she shall become a spoil to the nations.
6 Kahrawngum kaawm e a canu hah tahloi hoi thei e lah ao han, hat toteh, BAWIPA lah ka o tie a panue awh han.
And her daughters that are in the field shall be slain with the sword: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei, khenhaw! Taire taranlahoi Babilon siangpahrang Nebukhadnezar, siangpahrangnaw e siangpahrang teh atunglae ram lahoi marang hoi marangransanaw hoi tami moikapap hoi ka thokhai han.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will bring against Tyre Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, from the north, the king of kings, with horses, and with chariot's, and with horsemen, and an assemblage, and a numerous people.
8 Na canu hah kahrawngum vah tahloi hoi a thei awh han. Nang na rungngang nahanelah rapan hah a sak awh vaiteh, nang na tuk nahanelah ravo a sak awh vaiteh, ahnimouh taranlahoi bahlingnaw a sin awh han.
Thy daughters in the field will he slay with the sword: and he shall place around thee works of attack, and cast up against thee a mound, and erect against thee a target-fence.
9 Nang e rapannaw avanglah takhang a raphoe nahanelah a sak awh vaiteh, cakâ hoi imrasang hah a raphoe awh han.
And his catapults shall he set against thy walls, and thy towers shall he break down with his axes.
10 Kapappoung e marang kecu dawk, vaiphu hoi muen ramuk e lah ao han, raphoe e khopui dawkvah, tami ouk a kâen e patetlah na takhang dawk a kâen awh han, na takhang dawk a kâen awh navah, marangransanaw e pawlawk hoi tarantuknae leng pawlawk dawk rapan rasang hah a kâhuet han.
By reason of the abundance of his horses shall the dust they raise cover thee: by reason of the noise of horsemen, and wheels, and chariots, shall thy walls quake, when he entereth into thy gates, as men enter into a city that is broken in.
11 Na lamthungnaw hah marang khoksamen hoi be a katin awh vaiteh, na taminaw hah tahloi hoi a thei awh han. Ka rasang e na rapan hah talai dawk be a rawp awh han.
With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: thy people will he slay with the sword, and the statues of thy strength shall come down to the ground.
12 Na tawntanae hah lawphno lah koung a la awh han, na hnopai pueng be a rawk han, na rapan hah a tip vaiteh, kahawipoung e na im hah a raphoe awh han, na thing, na talung hoi na talai kahawinaw hah tui dawk be a tâkhawng awh han.
And they shall plunder thy riches, and make a spoil of thy merchandise; and they shall break down thy walls, and thy pleasure-houses shall they pull down: and thy stones and thy timber and thy earth shall they throw into the midst of the water.
13 La na sak pawlawk hah ka roum sak vaiteh, na ratoung pawlawk thai e lah awm mahoeh toe.
And I will cause the sound of thy songs to cease: and the tones of thy harps shall not be heard any more.
14 Ka ke e lungsong lah ka coung sak han, tamlawk yangda hanelah ka coung sak vaiteh, na kangdout sak mahoeh toe. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kai BAWIPA ni ka dei toe telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
And I will change thee into a naked rock; a place to spread out nets upon shalt thou be; thou shalt not be rebuilt any more; for I the Lord have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.
15 Bawipa Jehovah ni Taire koevah, hettelah a dei, nangmouh koevah kâtheinae ao. A hmâ ka cat e a hram toteh, na rawpnae a pawlawk dawk ramlouknaw hah a kâhuen mahoeh namaw.
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal to Tyre, Truly at the noise of thy fall, when the deadly wounded whine, when the slaughter taketh place in the midst of thee, shall the islands quake.
16 Talî dawk e kahrawikungnaw pueng ni a tungkhung dawk hoi a kum awh han, ka sungren poung e a hnicunaw hah a hruek awh vaiteh, a kamthoupnae be a rading awh han. Pâyawnae hah kamthoup awh vaiteh, talai dawk tahung laihoi pou a pâyaw awh han, kângairupoung awh han.
Then shall all the princes of the sea come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes, and their broidered garments shall they put off: with trembling shall they clothe themselves; upon the ground shall they sit, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished concerning thee.
17 Nang khuinae la a phueng awh vaiteh, nang koevah, talai van e a tha ka sai e khopui a min kamthang, tuikathoumnaw khosaknae hah ama hoi a thung kho ka sak pueng, ka cet kaawm e naw ni a bari e khocanaw hoi kakuep e kho, nang teh na rawknae a pataw poung.
And they shall lift up over thee a lamentation, and say to thee, How art thou lost, that wast inhabited [safely] by reason of the seas: O renowned city, which was strong on the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all that dwelt around her!
18 Na rawpnae ni tuilum pueng koung a kâhuet sak, na kahma hnin vah, talîpui teng e ramnaw be yawng awh han, ati awh han telah ati.
Now shall the isles tremble on the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy end.
19 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei, tami a ohoehnae khopui ka rawk e kingdi e khopui lah na coung sak toteh, kadungpoung e tui dawk na bo sak vaiteh, tui moikapap ni na ramuk han.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When I render thee a ruined city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I bring up over thee the deep, and when the great waters cover thee:
20 Ayan e tami kadungpoung e tangkom dawk ka cet tangcoung e koevah, na ceisak awh han, talai thung vah, ayan hoi kingdi e kadungpoung e tangkom thung ka cet tangcoung e koevah, kho na sak han, apihai nangmouh thung vah kho a sak hoeh nahan hoi, taminaw koehoi bawilennae hah na hmu hoeh nahanelah,
Then will I bring thee down with those that descend into the pit, unto the people of olden time, and I will cause thee to dwell in the land of the nether world, among ruins of ancient days, with those that go down to the pit, in order that thou mayest not be inhabited; but I will bestow glory in the land of life.
21 He na pâmit han, na awm mahoeh toe, tami ni na ka tawng nakunghai, na hmawt awh mahoeh toe telah Bawipa Jehovah ni ati.
As though thou hadst not been will I render thee, and thou shalt be no more: and thou shalt be sought for, but thou shalt never be found any more to eternity, saith the Lord Eternal.
