The Lord God seith these thingis. A! thou Jerusalem, thi rote and thi generacioun is of the lond of Canaan; thi fadir is Amorrei, and thi moder is Cetei.
4 Na tâco nah apinihai na thunrui a awh hoeh. Thoung sak hanelah tui dawk hai na pâhluk awh hoeh. Palawi hai na hluk awh hoeh. Kabethueplah hni hoi hoi hai na kayo e hai nahoeh.
And whanne thou were borun, thi nawle was not kit awei in the dai of thi birthe, and thou were not waischun in watir in to helthe, nethir saltid with salt, nether wlappid in clothis.
5 Pahren hanelah na lathueng hete hnonaw ka sak hanelah, apie mit ni hai na pahren hoeh, vaipuen vah tâkhawng e lah na o. Bangkongtetpawiteh, na khe na hnin hoi panuet e lah na o.
An iye sparide not on thee, that it hauynge merci on thee, dide to thee oon of these thingis; but thou were cast forth on the face of erthe, in the castynge out of thi soule, in the dai in which thou were borun.

Forsothe Y passide bi thee, and Y siy thee defoulid in thi blood; and Y seide to thee, whanne thou were in thi blood, Lyue thou; sotheli Y seide to thee in thi blood, Lyue thou.
7 Phokung patetlah na roung sak teh, nang teh pou na len sak e, kamcu meikahawi e hoi na kawi. Na sanu a roung teh na tak dawk hai a muen a tho. Hateiteh khohna tawn laipalah caici lah na o.
Y yaf thee multiplied as the seed of a feeld, and thou were multiplied, and maad greet; and thou entridist, and camest fulli to wymmens ournyng; thi tetis wexiden greet, and thin heer wexide; and thou were nakid, and ful of schenschipe.
8 Nang koe ka tho nah na khet toteh, nange na tueng teh pahrennae tueng lah ao teh, kaie hni ka kadai teh caici lah na onae hah ka ramuk. Thoe hai na bo teh nang hoi lawkkamnae ka sak e lahoi, nang teh kaie ka yu lah na o telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
And Y passide bi thee, and Y siy thee, and lo! thi tyme, the tyme of louyeris; and Y spredde abrood my clothing on thee, and Y hilide thi schenschipe. And Y swoor to thee, and Y made a couenaunt with thee, seith the Lord God, and thou were maad a wijf to me.

And Y waischide thee in water, and Y clenside awei thi blood fro thee, and Y anoyntide thee with oile.
10 Pathoupnae hni hoi na pathoup teh, a pho phukaawm hoi na khokkhawm na khawm sak, loukloukkaang e hni na kâkhu sak.
And Y clothide thee with clothis of dyuerse colours, and Y schodde thee in iacynct, and Y girde thee with biys;
11 Pathoupnae hoi na pathoup teh na kut dawk kuthrawt, na lahuen dawkvah sui dingyin,
and Y clothide thee with sutil thingis, and Y ournede thee with ournement.
12 na hnawng dawk hnongpacap, na hnâ dawk hnâpacap, na lû dawk kahawipoung e suilukhung na kâmuk sak.
And Y yaf bies in thin hondis, and a wrethe aboute thi necke; and Y yaf a ryng on thi mouth, and cerclis to thin eeris, and a coroun of fairnesse in thin heed.
13 Hottelah sui hoi ngun hoi pathoup e lah na o. Na khohna hai loukloukkaang e hni kahawipoung e carouk e hninaw doeh. Na ca hane bu teh tavai kanui hoi khoitui hoi satui doeh. Na kamcu, mei na hawi poung, siangpahrangnu lahoi na kuep doeh.
And thou were ourned with gold and siluer, and thou were clothid with biys and ray cloth with rounde ymagis, and many colours. Thou etist cleene flour of wheete, and hony, and oile, and thou were maad fair ful greetli; and thou encreessidist in to a rewme,
14 Na meihawinae na miphunnaw koe a kamthang, ka bawilen nahanelah pathoup e lahoi kuepcingnae na tawn telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
and thi name yede out in to hethene men for thi fairnesse; for thou were perfit in my fairnesse which Y hadde sett on thee, seith the Lord God.
15 Hateiteh, na meihawinae ekvoi na kâoup dawkvah, na min kamthangnae teh na kâyonae lah na hno. Ka cet kaawm e naw koe na kâyonae na pâpho teh, tongpa pueng ni tha a kâla awh.
And thou haddist trist in thi fairnesse, and didist fornicacioun in thi name; and thou settidist forth thi fornicacioun to ech that passide forth, that thou schuldist be maad his.
16 Na khohna na rading teh hmuenrasang hah nama hanelah na pathoup. Hawvah, na kâyo. Het patetlae heh bout awm boi mahoeh toe.
And thou tokist of my clothis, and madist to thee hiy thingis set aboute on ech side; and thou didist fornycacioun on tho, as it was not don, nether schal be don.

And thou tokist the vessels of thi fairnesse, of my gold and of my siluer, which Y yaf to thee; and thou madist to thee ymagis of men, and didist fornycacioun in tho.

And thou tokist thi clothis of many colours, and thou were clothid in tho; and thou settidist myn oile and myn encence in the siyt of tho.
19 Kai ni na poe e vaiyei hoi tavai kahawi e hoi satui hoi khoitui ouk na kawknae hah, hmuitui hanelah a hmalah na pâhung pouh teh, hettelah na toung vai yaw khe, telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei.
And thou settidist my breed, which Y yaf to thee, flour of wheete, and oile, and hony, bi whiche Y nurschide thee, in the siyt of tho, in to odour of swetnesse; and it was don, seith the Lord God.

And thou tokist thi sones and thi douytris, whiche thou gendridist to me, and offridist to tho, for to be deuourid. Whether thi fornicacioun is litil?
21 Ka canaw na thei teh, hmai hoi thueng hanelah ahnimouh koe na poe e naw hah,
Thou offridist my sones, and yauest hem, and halewidist to tho.
22 panuet na thonae hoi na kâyonae naw pueng dawk na lung a mathoe lahun nae, caici lah na onae, thi puk na kâkaawk lahun nae hah na naw nah hoi na panuek hoeh mue toe.
And aftir alle thin abhomynaciouns and fornicaciouns, thou bithouytist not on the daies of thi yong wexynge age, whanne thou were nakid, and ful of schenschipe, and were defoulid in thi blood.
23 Na hawihoehnae naw a hnukkhu hettelah doeh. Lungmathoe hanlah ao telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a ti.
And after al thi malice, wo, wo bifelle to thee, seith the Lord God.
24 Lamthung tangkuem meikaphawk bawknae hmuen na sak, nama na kâyo nahane im na sak.
And thou bildidist to thee a bordel hous, and madist to thee a place of hordom in alle stretis.
25 Lamthung kâracutnae koe pueng vah, kâyonae im na sak, na meihawinae teh panuettho lah na coung sak. Ka cet kaawm pueng koe na kâpoe teh na kâyonae teh hoe a pap.
At ech heed of the weie thou bildidist a signe of thin hordom, and madist thi fairnesse abhomynable; and thou departidist thi feet to ech man passynge forth, and multepliedist thi fornicaciouns.
26 Izip tami na imri koevah, na kâyo teh, ka lungkhuek nahanelah na kâyonae na nut sak.
And thou didist fornicacioun with the sones of Egipt, thi neiyboris of grete fleischis, and thou multepliedist thi fornicacioun, to terre me to wraththe.
27 Hatdawkvah, khenhaw! na lathueng vah ka kut ka dâw teh, ouk na ca boi e bu ka youn sak teh, nang ka maithoe e Filistin tami napui na kâyonae na kayakkhai e poung koe, a ngaithaithue na sak hanelah na poe.
Lo! Y schal stretch forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal take awei thi iustifiyng; and Y schal yyue thee in to the soulis of hem that haten thee, of the douytris of Palestyns, that ben aschamed in thi weie ful of greet trespas.
28 Assirianaw koehai na kâyo teh, a khout toe tie hai na panuek hoeh.
And thou didist fornicacioun with the sones of Assiriens, for thou were not fillid yit; and after that thou didist fornicacioun, nether so thou were fillid.
29 Kanaan ram Khaldeannaw koe vah na kâyonae bout na nut sak teh, na khout kalawn hoeh.
And thou multipliedist thi fornycacioun in the lond of Canaan with Caldeis, and nether so thou were fillid.
30 Na lungthin banghloimaw a kamko. Na kâroekâkhawinae dawk a lung ka patak e napui patetlah hno na kâyo telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a ti.
In what thing schal Y clense thin herte, seith the Lord God, whanne thou doist alle these werkis of a womman an hoore, and gredi axere?
31 Lam a kâcunae koe pueng tami pawpnae rim hah na sak teh, lamsalun tangkuem koe e kâkaawknae hmuen na sak e naw dawkvah aphu na hei hoeh dawkvah, kâyawt e lah na awm hoeh toe.
For thou madist thi bordel hous in `the heed of ech weie, and thou madist thin hiy place in ech street; and thou were not maad as an hoore ful of anoiyng,
32 Thoundoun alouke hoi ka ip e napui, vanaw hlak tami alouke ka ngaihnawn e napuinaw,
encreessynge prijs, but as a womman auowtresse, that bryngith in aliens on hir hosebonde.
33 tongpa ni kâyawt e napui koe aphu ouk a poe awh. Nang ni teh na ka ngai e koe doeh letlang na poe. Ram tangkuem hoi a tho awh teh, na ikhai nahanelah nama ni ouk na pasawt.
Hiris ben youun to alle hooris, but thou hast youe hire to alle thi louyeris; and thou yauest to hem, that thei schulden entre to thee on ech side, to do fornycacioun with thee.
34 Na kâyonae dawk apinihai na pâtam hoeh e hah, kâyawt e alouke hoi na kâvanhoehnae doeh. Apinihai aphu na poe awh hoeh niteh, nang ni law dai na poe e hah kâvanhoehnae doeh.
And it was don in thee ayens the custom of wymmen in thi fornycaciouns, and fornicacioun schal not be after thee; for in that that thou yauest hiris, and tokist not hiris, the contrarie was don in thee.
35 Hatdawkvah Oe kâyawt e napui, BAWIPA e lawk hah thai haw.
Therfor, thou hoore, here the word of the Lord.
36 Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei, panuet na thonae teh, meikaphawknaw hoi, na kâyonae hoi, caici lah na onae kamnue sak e lahoi, ahnimouh koe na poe e na canaw e thipaling kecu dawkvah,
The Lord God seith these thingis, For thi riches is sched out, and thi schenschipe is schewid in thi fornicaciouns on thi louyeris, and on the idols of thin abhomynaciouns, in the blood of thi sones, whiche thou yauest to hem; lo!
37 Khenhaw! na ka ipkhai e hoi na ka pahren e tami pueng, na ka maithoe e pueng hah ka pâkhueng han, nang koe ka thokhai vaiteh, caici lah na onae a hmu awh thai nahan, ahnimouh koe caici lah na onae hah kamnue sak han.
Y schal gadere to gidere alle thi louyeris, with whiche thou were meddlid, and alle men whiche thou louedist, with alle men whiche thou hatidist; and Y schal gadere hem on thee on ech side, and Y schal make nakid thi schenschipe bifore hem, and thei schulen se al thi filthe.
38 Hahoi napui a vâ a kapek teh, mae canaw thipaling palawngnae kong dawk lawk ouk ceng e patetlah nange kong heh lawkceng awh han, lungkhueknae hoi ka patawpoung e lungphuennae ka pha sak han.
And Y schal deme thee bi the domes of auoutressis, and schedinge out blood;
39 Ahnimae kut dawk na poe vaiteh, na kâkaawknae ka raphoe han. Na hmuenrasangnaw ka rawp sak han. Na khohnanaw hah a rading awh vaiteh, a phukaawm e painapaitunnaw a la awh han, hni laipalah tak caici lah na hruek awh han.
and Y schal yyue thee in to the blood of strong veniaunce, and of feruour. And Y schal yyue thee in to the hondis of hem, and thei schulen destrie thi bordel hous, and thei schulen destrie the place of thin hordom; and thei schulen make thee nakid of thi clothis, and thei schulen take awei the vessels of thi fairnesse, and thei schulen forsake thee nakid, and ful of schenschipe.

And thei schulen bringe on thee a multitude, and thei schulen stoon thee with stoonys, and thei schulen sle thee with her swerdis.
41 Nange im hah hmai hoi a sawi awh han. Napui moikapap a hmunae koe nange lathueng lawkcengnae a pha sak han. Na kâyonae teh ka pout sak vaiteh, nang teh ayânaw na hlai mahoeh toe.
And thei schulen brenne thin housis with fier, and thei schulen make domes in thee, bifor the iyen of ful many wymmen; and thou schalt ceese to do fornicacioun, and thou schalt no more yyue hiris.
42 Hottelah hoi ka lungkhueknae hah na lathueng vah ka kuepcalah ka kamnue sak han. Na dipmanae hai nangmouh koe hoi ka takhoe vaiteh, muengmueng ka o han, ka lungkhuek mahoeh toe.
And myn indignacioun schal reste in thee, and my feruent loue schal be takun awei fro thee; and Y schal reste, and Y schal no more be wrooth,
43 Na nawnae hnin hah na pahnim teh, hete hnonaw dawk rucatnae na poe dawkvah, khenhaw! na kâroenae patetlah na lathueng ka pha sak han, telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei. Hahoi panuet na thonae pueng thap sin hanelah, hete na kâyonae na sak mahoeh toe.
for thou haddist not mynde on the daies of thi yong wexynge age, and thou terridist me to ire in alle these thingis. Wherfor and Y yaf thi weies in thin heed, seith the Lord God, and Y dide not aftir thi grete trespassis, in alle these thin abhomynaciouns.
44 Khenhaw! cingthuilawk kaduemca ka hno e pueng ni hete cingthuilawk hah a hno awh han, a canu ni a manu phek a la, tie hah.
Lo! ech man that seith a prouerbe comynli, schal take it in thee,
45 Na manu mae vâcanaw patenghai kapanuetkung, canu lah na o, hmaunawngha coungnae koe lah mae vâ hoi canaw kapanuetkung hmaunawngha lah na o. Na manu Hit tami doeh, napanaw hah Amornaw doeh.
and schal seie, As the modir, so and the douytir of hir. Thou art the douyter of thi modir, that castide awey hir hosebonde and hir sones; and thou art the sister of thi sistris, that castiden a wei her hosebondis and her sones. Thi modir is Cetei, and thi fadir is Ammorrei;
46 Na tawncanu teh Samaria, nange avoilah kho ouk ka sak e hah ama hoi a canunaw hoi doeh. Na hmau na nawngha hoi aranglah kho ouk ka sak e hah teh Sodom hoi a canunaw doeh.
and thi gretter sister is Samarie, sche and hir douytris, that dwellen at thi left side; but thi sistir lesse than thou, that dwellith at thi riyt side, is Sodom, and hir douytris.
47 A hring nuencang hah na tarawi hoeh eiteh, panuet a tho awh e patetlah na sak hoeh ei, na hring nathung e na payonpakainae naw pouk toteh, hothateh, dei hane kamcu hoeh.
But thou yedist not in the weies of hem, nethir thou didist aftir the grete trespassis of hem; hast thou do almest a litil lesse cursidere dedis than thei, in alle thi weies?
48 Kai ka hring e patetlah Bawipa Jehovah ni a dei, nang nama hoi na canaw ni a sak awh e heh, a hmaunawngha Sodom hoi a canu ni hai sak awh hoeh.
Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for Sodom, thi sister, did not, sche and hir douytris, as thou didist, and thi douytris.
49 Na hmaunawngha Sodom a yonnae teh, hetnaw hah doeh, kâoupnae hoi king ka boum lah canae ama hoi a canunaw a nawmnae lah ao teh, tami ka roedeng hoi voutthoup e taminaw hah kabawm awh hoeh.
Lo! this was the wickidnesse of Sodom, thi sister, pride, fulnesse of breed, and habundaunce, and idilnesse of hir, and of hir douytris; and thei puttiden not hond to a nedi man and pore.

And thei weren enhaunsid, and diden other abhominaciouns bifore me; and Y took hem awei, as thou hast seyn.
51 Samaria nihai, nang ni na sak e yonnae a tangen boehai sak hoeh. Ahnimanaw hlak panuet ka thoe e hno hah na sak dawkvah, na hmaunawnghanaw e yon hah na kamnuek sak hoeh.
And Samarie synnede not the half of thi synnes, but thou hast ouercome hem in thi grete trespassis; and thou hast iustified thi sistris in alle thin abhomynaciouns, whiche thou wrouytist.
52 Na hmaunawnghanaw kalanhnawn lah na kamnue sak dawkvah, nang nama roeroe ni na yeiraiponae teh na phu hanelah ao. Ahnimanaw hlak panuetthopounge hno hah hoe kapap lah na sak teh, na hawihoehnae kecu dawk, ahnimouh teh nangmanaw hlak vah a lan hnawn. Na hmaunawngha kalanhnawn lah na kamnuesaknae dawkvah, kayak poung e hoi yeiraiponae hah na coe han.
Therfor and thou bere thi schenschipe, that hast ouercome thi sistris with thi synnes, and didist more cursidli than thei; for thei ben iustified of thee. Therfor and be thou schent, and bere thi schenschipe, which hast iustified thi sistris.
53 Hahoi, Sodom hoi a canu e hringnuen hoi ahnimouh hoi nangmae hringnuen hai ka thung han.
And Y schal conuerte and restore hem by the conuersioun of Sodom with hir douytris, and bi the conuersioun of Samarie and of hir douytris; and Y schal conuerte thi turnyng ayen in the myddis of hem,
54 Ahnimouh han roumnae lah ouk na onae dawkvah, na sak e hnopueng kecu dawk na kayayeirai lah na o thai nahan,
that thou bere thi schenschipe, and be aschamed in alle thingis whiche thou didist, coumfortynge hem.
55 Na hmaunawngha Sodom hoi a canunaw hoi Samaria hoi a canunaw hah, a hringnuen hmaloe e patetlah bout a hring awh vaiteh, nang hoi na canunaw hai, ahmaloe e na hringnae dawkvah, bout na hring awh han.
And thi sister Sodom and hir doytris schulen turne ayen to her eldnesse; and Samarie and hir douytris shulen turne ayen to her eeldnesse; and thou and thi douytris turne ayen to youre eldnesse.
56 Na hawihoehnae hmu hoehnahlan e, na bawilennae hnin dawkvah, na hmaunawngha Sodom teh a min kuekluek dei mahoeh namaw.
Forsothe Sodom, thi sister, was not herd in thi mouth, in the dai of thi pride,
57 Atuteh, Siria canu hoi atengpam e tami pueng Filistin canunaw nang teng e na ka panuikhainaw hoi puenghoi na kapathoenaw,
bifore that thi malice was schewid, as in this tyme, in to schenschipe of the douytris of Sirie, and of alle douytris in thi cumpas, of the douytris of Palestyn that ben aboute thee bi cumpas.
58 na kâyonae hoi panuet na thonae hah pou na kampu telah BAWIPA ni a ti.
Thou hast bore thi greet trespas, and thi schenschipe, seith the Lord God.
59 Bawipa Jehovah ni hettelah a dei. Lawkkam e hah tapuet teh, lawkkam e banglahai na noutna hoeh e patetlah na lathueng ka sak van han.
For the Lord God seith these thingis, And Y schal do to thee as thou dispisidist the ooth, that thou schuldist make voide the couenaunt;
60 Hateiteh, na camo nah nang koe ka lawkkam e hah ka pahnim mahoeh, nang koe vah a yungyoe kangning e lawkkamnae ka sak han.
and Y schal haue mynde on my couenaunt with thee in the daies of thi yongthe, and Y schal reise to thee a couenaunt euerlastynge.
61 Hottelah hmaunawnghanaw hah na coe awh navah, na lung a ang vaiteh, na kayakhai han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, nang koe lawk ka kam kecu dawk nahoeh niteh, ahnimouh teh a canu hanelah na poe han.
And thou schalt haue mynde on thi weies, and schalt be aschamed, whanne thou schalt resseyue thi sistris grettere than thou, with thi lesse sistris; and Y schal yyue hem in to douytris to thee, but not of thi couenaunt.
62 Nang koe ka lawkkam e ka cak sak vaiteh, BAWIPA lah ka o tie hah na panue awh han.
And Y schal reise my couenaunt with thee, and thou schalt wite, that Y am the Lord, that thou haue mynde, and be aschamed;
63 Nang ni ouk na sak boi e pueng yontha lah ao han. Ka lung a roum toteh, kai ni na pahnim mahoeh. Kayanae takinae hoi minhmai mathoe kecu dawk lawk ka dei laipalah, ka o han telah Bawipa Jehovah ni a ti.
and that it be no more to thee to opene the mouth for thi schame, whanne Y schal be plesid to thee in alle thingis whiche thou didist, seith the Lord God.
