Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which Yhwh your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

That thou mightest fear Yhwh thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Oe Isarel miphun, mintoenaw e Cathut e lawkkam patetlah nang ni sanu tui, khoitui a lawngnae ram dawk na yawhawi awh teh, na pungdaw awh nahan thai awh, kâhruetcuet lahoi tarawi awh.
Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as Yhwh God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Oe Isarel miphun thai awh haw, maimae BAWIPA Cathut teh buet touh dueng e BAWIPA la doeh ao.
Hear, O Israel: Yhwh our God is one Yhwh:
5 Nange BAWIPA Cathut hah, na lungthin abuemlah, na hringnae abuemlah hoi thaonae abuemlahoi lungpataw haw.
And thou shalt love Yhwh thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 Hote lawk hah panki lahoi na canaw na cangkhai han. Im dawk tahung nahai thoseh, cei nahai thoseh, i nahai thoseh, thaw nahai thoseh, hote lawk hah na dei pouh awh han.
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 Hote lawk hai na kut dawk mitnout nahanelah thoseh, na mit rahak hai thoseh na bet han.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9 Im takhang, khopui longkha dawk hai na thut han.
And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
10 Na kangdue sak hoeh e khopuinaw hai thoseh, hnokahawi hoi kakawi e imnaw hai thoseh,
And it shall be, when Yhwh thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,

And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;
Then beware lest thou forget Yhwh, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
13 Na BAWIPA Cathut hah na taki awh han. Hote Cathut dueng na bawk awh han. A min lahoi thoe hai na kâbo awh hanh.
Thou shalt fear Yhwh thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
14 Alouke Cathut, na tengpam e miphunnaw e cathut hnuk na kâbang awh mahoeh.
Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
15 Nangmae Cathut teh nangmouh dawk dipma Cathut doeh. Nangmae BAWIPA Cathut teh nangmouh koe a lungkhuek vaiteh, talai van hoi na raphoe han tie taki hane ao.
( For Yhwh thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of Yhwh thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
Ye shall not tempt Yhwh your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.

Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of Yhwh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
18 Nang na hlout nahanelah,
And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of Yhwh: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which Yhwh sware unto thy fathers,

And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Yhwh our God hath commanded you?
21 Nang ni kaimanaw Izip ram dawk Faro siangpahrang e san lah ka o awh nah BAWIPA e a thaonae kut hoi kaimanaw hah Izip ram hoi na tâcokhai awh.
Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; And Yhwh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
22 BAWIPA nihai, lentoe kângairunae hah Izip ram hoi Faro imthungkhu lathueng hai thoseh, maimae hmaitung a sak hnukkhu,
And Yhwh shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.
24 BAWIPA ni sahnin totouh na lungma e patetlah hringnae na hlung pouh nahanelah, maimouh hawi nahanlah hete phunglawknaw pueng tarawi han. BAWIPA Cathut taki hanelah lawk na thui awh.
And Yhwh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yhwh our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yhwh our God, as he hath commanded us.
