< Kâboutpoenae 3 >
1 Hatnavah kaimouh kamlang awh teh Bashan lam lah ka cei awh. Bashan siangpahrang Og hai a taminaw hoi Edrei vah kaimouh na tuk hanlah a tho awh.
“And we turn and go up the way to Bashan, and Og king of Bashan comes out to meet us, he and all his people, to the battle [at] Edrei.
2 BAWIPA Cathut ni ahni hah taket awh hanh. Ama hoi a taminaw hai thoseh, a talai hai thoseh, nangmae kut dawk na poe awh han. Heshbon khopui dawk kaawm e Amor siangpahrang Sihon koe na sak e patetlah hete Siangpahrang koehai na sak han telah kai koe a dei.
And YHWH says to me, Do not fear him, for I have given him, and all his people, and his land into your hand, and you have done to him as you have done to Sihon king of the Amorite who is dwelling in Heshbon.
3 Hottelah maimae BAWIPA Cathut ni Bashan Siangpahrang Og hoi a taminaw pueng hah maimae kut dawk na poe vaiteh, buet touh hai hlout laipalah, ka thei awh.
And our God YHWH indeed gives Og king of Bashan and all his people into our hands, and we strike him until there has been no remnant left to him;
4 Hatnavah kaimouh ni khopui 60, Argob ram, Bashan ram, Og siangpahrang e uknaeram, khopui buet touh boehai hlung laipalah ka tuk awh.
and we capture all his cities at that time; there has not been a city which we have not taken from them—sixty cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5 Hote khopuinaw teh, ka rasang poung e rapan, longkhanaw hoi kacakpounge khopui lah ao. Alouk lae kho moikapap hai ka la awh, ka tuk awh teh koung ka raphoe awh.
All these [are] cities fortified with high walls, double gates, and bar, apart from very many cities of the open place;
6 Heshbon siangpahrang Sihon koe ka sak awh e patetlah napui camo pueng koung ka thei awh.
and we devote them, as we have done to Sihon king of Heshbon, devoting [the] men, the women, and the infants of every city;
7 Saringnaw hoi kho thung e hnopainaw teh kamamouh hanlah ka la awh.
and all the livestock, and the spoil of the cities, we have spoiled for ourselves.
And at that time we take the land out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorite, which is beyond the Jordan, from the Brook of Arnon to Mount Hermon
9 Hermon mon hah Sidonnaw ni Sirion telah thoseh, Amornaw ni Senir telah thoseh a kaw awh.
(Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir),

For only Og king of Bashan had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; behold, his bedstead [is] a bedstead of iron. Is it not in Rabbath of the sons of Ammon? Its length [is] nine cubits and its breadth [is] four cubits, by the cubit of a man.
12 Hatnavah kaimouh ni la pouh e talai hah Arnon palang teng kaawm e Aroer khopui hoi kamtawng teh, Gilead mon a tangawn totouh khopuinaw hoi Reuben miphun hoi Gad miphunnaw ka poe toe.
And this land, [which] we had possessed at that time, from Aroer, which [is] by the Brook of Arnon, and the half of Mount Gilead and its cities, I have given to the Reubenite and to the Gadite;

and the rest of Gilead and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I have given to the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan—it is called the land of [the] Rephaim.
14 Manasseh miphun Jair ni Argob ram pueng Geshur kho Maakath kho totouh a la pouh hnukkhu, Sahnin totouh amamae a min a ceisak e lahoi Havvoth- Jair ram telah a kaw awh.
Jair son of Manasseh has taken all the region of Argob, as far as the border of Geshuri and Maachathi ([namely] Bashan), and calls them by his own name, Havoth-Jair, to this day.
15 Gilead khopui teh Makhir miphunnaw ka poe toe.
And I have given Gilead to Machir.
16 Reuben miphun, Gad miphunnaw teh, Gilead khopui hoi Arnon palangpui, alungui totouh Arnon ram khori Arabah palang pui totouh hai thoseh.
And to the Reubenite and to the Gadite I have given from Gilead even to the Brook of Arnon, the middle of the valley and the border, even to the Brook of Jabbok, the border of the sons of Ammon,
17 Jordan palang teng Kinnereth hoi Sodom talî e kanîtholah kaawm e Arabah Pisgah khopui totouh e hai thoseh ka poe toe.
and the plain, and the Jordan, and the border, from Chinnereth even to the Sea of the Plain (the Salt Sea), under the Springs of Pisgah, at the [sun]-rising.
18 Hatnavah, kai ni, nangmae BAWIPA Cathut ni hete ram heh namamouh han roup na poe toe.
And at that time I command you, saying, Your God YHWH has given this land to you to possess it; you pass over armed before your brothers the sons of Israel, all the sons of might.

Only your wives, and your infants, and your livestock—I have known that you have much livestock—dwell in your cities which I have given to you,

until YHWH gives rest to your brothers like yourselves, and they also have possessed the land which your God YHWH is giving to them beyond the Jordan; then you have each turned back to his possession which I have given to you.

22 Nangmae Cathut ni nanfmouh koe lah kampangkhai dawkvah, ahnimanaw hah taket awh hanh.
do not fear them, for your God YHWH—He is fighting for you.
23 Hatnavah Cathut koe ka kâhei e teh,
And to YHWH I beg for grace at that time, saying,
24 Oe Bawipa Jehovah, na san kai koe lentoe e hai thoseh, thaonae kut hai thoseh, sak na kamtawng toe. Nang e thaonae na kamnue sak e patetlah kalvan hoi talai dawk bang patet e cathut ni maw a sak thai han.
Lord YHWH, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand; for who [is] a god in the heavens or in earth who does according to Your works and according to Your might?
25 Kai teh Jordan palang namran lah ka raka teh, kahawipoung e ram hoi Lebanon mon koehoi kamtawng teh kahawi e monnaw na hmawt sak haw telah ka kâhei nakunghai,

And YHWH shows Himself angry with me for your sake, and has not listened to me, and YHWH says to me, Enough of you; do not add to speak to Me about this thing anymore;
27 Pisgah mon som dawkvah luen nateh, kanîtho, kanîloum, atung, aka lah kangvawi nateh ram hah khenhaw! Jordan tui rakat hanh.
go up [to] the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and see with your eyes, for you do not pass over this Jordan;

and charge Joshua, and strengthen him, and harden him, for he passes over before this people, and he causes them to inherit the land which you see.
29 Hottelah kaimouh teh Bethpeor namran lah kaawm e tanghling dawk ka o awh.
And we dwell in a valley opposite Beth-Peor.”
