Now if thou wilt hear the voice of the Lord thy God, to do and keep all his commandments, which I command thee this day, the Lord thy God will make thee higher than all the nations that are on the earth.
2 Na BAWIPA Cathut e lawk hah na tarawi pawiteh, nang koe ka tho hane yawhawinaw hateh:
And all these blessings shall come upon thee and overtake thee: yet so if thou hear his precepts,
3 Nang teh khothung vah yawhawi, kahrawngum hai yawhawi lah na o han.
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed in the field.
4 Canaw lahoi thoseh, talai a pawhik lahoi thoseh, saring ni a khe e a canaw lahoi thoseh, tu hoi maitonaw lahoi thoseh, yawhawi lah na o han.
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the droves of thy herds, and the folds of thy sheep.
5 Tangthung dawk thoseh, tavai kanawknae kawlung dawk thoseh, yawhawi ao han.
Blessed shall be thy barns and blessed thy stores.
6 Na im thung na kâen nah yawhawi ao han. Alawilah na tâco nah yawhawi ao han.
Blessed shalt thou be coming in and going out.
7 Nang na ka tuk hane tarannaw hah na hmalah BAWIPA ni a sung sak han. Ahnimouh teh lamthung buet touh hoi nang koe a tho awh eiteh, lamthung sari touh hoi a yawng awh han.
The Lord shall cause thy enemies, that rise up against thee, to fall down before thy face: one way shall they come out against thee, and seven ways shall they flee before thee.
8 Nange hnoim dawk thoseh, na tawksaknae tangkuem dawk thoseh, BAWIPA nang koe yawhawi pha sak hanelah a dei pouh awh han. BAWIPA Cathut ni na poe e ram dawk nang yawhawinae na poe han.
The Lord will send forth a blessing upon thy storehouses, and upon all the works of thy hands: and will bless thee in the land that thou shalt receive.
9 Nang teh na BAWIPA Cathut e kâpoelawk na tarawi teh, a lamthung dawk na dawn pawiteh, BAWIPA ni thoebo e patetlah nang hah BAWIPA hanlah, kathounge miphun lah pou na o sak han.
The Lord will raise thee up to be a holy people to himself, as he swore to thee: if thou keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
10 Nang teh, BAWIPA e min lahoi kaw lah na o tie miphun pueng ni a panue teh, na taki awh han.
And all the people of the earth shall see that the name of the Lord is invocated upon thee, and they shall fear thee.
11 BAWIPA ni nang koe na poe hanelah, mintoenaw koe thoebo e ram dawk hnopai, na canaw, saring pungdawnae hoi talai dawk a pawhik a pung sak han.
The Lord will make thee abound with all goods, with the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy cattle, with the fruit of thy land, which the Lord swore to thy fathers that he would give thee.
12 BAWIPA ni atueng a pha torei teh, nange ram dawk kho a rak sak hane thoseh, na sak nah tangkuem dawk yawhawi poe hane thoseh, kalvan hnoim a paawng han. Nang ni miphunnaw hah câwisaknae kâ ao han. Ahnimouh ni nang na cawi sak mahoeh.
The Lord will open his excellent treasure, the heaven, that it may give rain in due season: and he will bless all the works of thy hands. And thou shalt lend to many nations, and shalt not borrow of any one.
13 BAWIPA ni nang teh a mai lah na awm sak laipalah, a lû lah na o sak dawkvah, nang teh rahim lah na awm laipalah, lathueng lah onae kâ na tawn han.
And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail: and thou shalt be always above, and not beneath: yet so if thou wilt hear the commandments of the Lord thy God which I command thee this day, and keep and do them,
14 Sahnin kai ni kâ na poe e lawknaw thung hoi avoilah, aranglah phen laipalah, alouknaw e cathut bawk laipalah na awm awh pawiteh, hottelah e hawinae hah na coe awh han.
And turn not away from them neither to the right hand, nor to the left, nor follow strange gods, nor worship them.
15 Sahnin ka dei e BAWIPA Cathut ni lawk na poe e pueng na tarawi hanelah, lawk na ngâi hoehpawiteh, na lathueng ka phat hane thoebonae hateh:
But if thou wilt not hear the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep and to do all his commandments and ceremonies, which I command thee this day, all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.
16 Nang teh khothung hai thoseh, kahrawngum hai thoseh yawthoe lah na o awh han.
Cursed shalt thou be in the city, cursed in the field.
17 Tangthung dawk thoseh, tavai kanawknae kawlung dawk thoseh, thoebo lah ao han.
Cursed shall be thy barn, and cursed thy stores.
18 Canaw lahoi thoseh, talai a pawhik lahoi thoseh, saring ni a khe e a canaw lahoi thoseh, tu hoi maitonaw lahoi thoseh, thoebo lah na o han.
Cursed shall be the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, the herds of thy oxen, and the flocks of thy sheep.
19 Na im thung na kâen nah thoebo lah na o han. Alawilah na tâco nah thoebo lah ao han.
Cursed shalt thou be coming in, and cursed going out.
20 BAWIPA na pahnawt teh na sakpayon e yon kecu dawk, karang poung lah rawknae koe na pha hoehroukrak, na tawksak e pueng dawk rektapnae, tarawknae, pathoenae naw teh na lathueng vah a pha sak han.
The Lord shall send upon thee famine and hunger, and a rebuke upon all the works which thou shalt do: until he consume and destroy thee quickly, for thy most wicked inventions, by which thou hast forsaken me.
21 Na cei teh na coe hane ram dawk hoi be na raphoe hoehroukrak, lacik ka pha sak han.
May the Lord set the pestilence upon thee, until he consume thee out of the land, which thou shalt go in to possess.
22 BAWIPA ni laheipatawnae, vairoe, ekkhu, vuenpatawnae, tahloi hoi theinae, kahlî hoi thingthairompo due saknae, ahri ni ca e lahoi thingthairompo due saknae, khokangnae naw hoi na rawk totouh, hote laciknaw ni na pâlei han.
May the Lord afflict thee with miserable want, with the fever and with cold, with burning and with heat, and with corrupted air and with blasting, and pursue thee till thou perish.
23 Na lathueng e kalvan teh na lû dawk rahum patetlah thoseh, na rahim e talai hai sum patetlah ao han.
Be the heaven, that is over thee, of brass: and the ground thou treadest on, of iron.
24 BAWIPA ni na ram dawk ka rak e kho hah lailo hoi vaiphu lah ao sak dawkvah, na rawk hoehroukrak kalvan lahoi na van a bo sak han.
The Lord give thee dust for rain upon thy land, and let ashes come down from heaven upon thee, till thou be consumed.
25 Na tarannaw hmalah BAWIPA ni lacik na poe han. Lamthung buet touh dueng dawk hoi na cei sin ei, lamthung sari touh dawk hoi na yawng awh vaiteh, talai van kaawm e khoram tangkuem na kampuen awh han.
The Lord make thee to fall down before thy enemies, one way mayst thou go out against them, and flee seven ways, and be scattered throughout all the kingdoms of the earth.
26 Na ro teh tavanaw, kahrawng e moithangnaw ni ca hanelah ao han. Hote moithangnaw hah apinihai pâlei mahoeh.
And be thy carcass meat for all the Fowls of the air, and the beasts of the earth, and be there none to drive them away.
27 BAWIPA ni nang hah Izip ram e âhlut, baksa, takpatha e lahoi lacik na poe han.
The Lord strike thee with the ulcer of Egypt, and the part of thy body, by which the dung is cast out, with the scab and with the itch: so that thou canst not be healed.
28 Pathunae, mitdawnnae, lungpuennae lacik a pha sak vaiteh,
The Lord strike thee with madness and blindness and fury of mind.
29 mitdawn ni hmonae koe a payam e patetlah nang teh kanîthun vah thupthup na payam han. Na sak e hno dawk na cum laipalah, rektapnae, lawpnae na khang vaiteh, apinihai na rungngang mahoeh.
And mayst thou grope at midday as the blind is wont to grope in the dark, and not make straight thy ways. And mayst thou at all times suffer wrong, and be oppressed with violence, and mayst thou have no one to deliver thee.
30 Yu na paluen eiteh, ayânaw ni a ikhai han. Im na sak eiteh, na awm nah mahoeh. Misur na ung eiteh, a paw na khi mahoeh.
Mayst thou take a wife, and another sleep with her. Mayst thou build a house, and not dwell therein. Mayest thou plant a vineyard and not gather the vintage thereof.
31 Na maito hah na hmalah a thei awh eiteh, nama ni na cat mahoeh. Nange la hah na hmalah thama lahoi a ceikhai awh eiteh, bout na poe awh mahoeh toe. Nange tunaw hah taran kut dawk poe toteh, ka rungngang hane awm mahoeh.
May thy ox be slain before thee, and thou not eat thereof. May thy ass be taken away in thy sight, and not restored to thee. May thy sheep be given to thy enemies, and may there be none to help thee.
32 Na canaw teh ayâ kut dawk a pha teh, na mit ni kanîruirui a khet vaiteh, a tha a baw han. Na kut hai a tha awm mahoeh.
May thy sons and thy daughters be given to another people, thy eyes looking on, and languishing at the sight of them all the day, and may there be no strength in thy hand.
33 Na panuepaca hoeh e miphun ni na ram dawk e a pawhik hai thoseh, na tawk teh na hmu e hnonaw hai thoseh a ca awh han. Nang teh rektapnae dueng doeh pout laipalah na khang ti.
May a people which thou knowest not, eat the fruits of thy land, and all thy labours: and mayst thou always suffer oppression, and be crushed at all times.
34 Hottelah, ma ni khei kâhmo e dawkvah, nang teh na pathu han.
And be astonished at the terror of those things which thy eyes shall see:
35 BAWIPA ni na khokpakhu hoi na khok hloilah, na khoktabei koehoi kamtawng teh, na laduem koe totouh, kahmat thai hoeh e lacik a pha sak han.
May the Lord strike thee with a very sore ulcer in the knees and in the legs, and be thou incurable from the sole of the foot to the top of the head.
36 BAWIPA ni nang ni na tawm e siangpahrang hah, nang hoi na mintoenaw ni a panue boihoeh e miphun koe, na thak vaiteh, nang teh alouke cathut, thing cathut, talung cathutnaw hah na bawk han.
The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king, whom thou shalt have appointed over thee, into a nation which thou and thy fathers know not: and there thou shalt serve strange gods, wood and stone.
37 BAWIPA ni nang na thaknae ram tangkuem dawkvah, nang teh, kângairunae, bangnuebangta nahane, pathoe hanelah na o han.
And thou shalt be lost, as a proverb and a byword to all people, among whom the Lord shall bring thee in.
38 Nang ni cati moikapap laikawk koe na sin eiteh, awsinaw ni a ca dawkvah, cakang youn touh ca doeh na a ti.
Thou shalt cast much seed into the ground, and gather little: because the locusts shall consume all.
39 Misur takha na sak teh, misur ka ung nakunghai, ahri ni a ca dawkvah, nama ni misur paw na khi mahoeh. Misur tui hai na net mahoeh.
Thou shalt plant a vineyard, and dig it, and shalt not drink the wine, nor gather any thing thereof: because it shall be wasted with worms.
40 Na onae koe olivekung ao eiteh, a paw hmin hoehnahlan a sarut dawkvah, nang teh olive satui na kâhluk mahoeh.
Thou shalt have olive trees in all thy borders, and shalt not be anointed with the oil: for the olives shall fall off and perish.
41 Canu capa na khe eiteh, ahnimouh hoi na nawm mahoeh. Taran ni san lah a man han.
Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, and shalt not enjoy them: because they shall be led into captivity.
42 Na onae ram dawkvah, thing kaawm e pueng, talai a pawhik kaawm e pueng, awsi ni a ca han.
The blast shall consume all the trees and the fruits of thy ground.
43 Nang hoi rei kaawm e imyinnaw teh, rasang vaiteh, nang van a luen awh han. Nang law teh rahim lah na kum han.
The stranger that liveth with thee in the land, shall rise up over thee, and shall be higher: and thou shalt go down, and be lower.
44 Ahni ni nang na cawi sak vaiteh, nang ni ahni na cawi sak mahoeh. Ahni ni a lû lah awm vaiteh nang law teh a mai lah na o han.
He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him. He shall be as the head, and thou shalt be the tail.
45 Bawi ni na poe e kâpoelawknaw hoi BAWIPA e phunglawknaw hah tarawi nahanelah na BAWIPA Cathut e lawk na ngâi hoeh dawkvah, nang teh, na rawk totouh hete thoebonae teh nang lathueng phat vaiteh, na pâlei vaiteh rek na patawt han.
And all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue and overtake thee, till thou perish: because thou heardst not the voice of the Lord thy God, and didst not keep his commandments and ceremonies which he commanded thee.
46 Nang lathueng thoseh, na catounnaw lathueng thoseh, pout laipalah mitnoutnae kângairu hno lah ao han.
And they shall be as signs and wonders on thee, and on thy seed for ever.
47 Hnopai na tawn toteh, lunghawinae hoi BAWIPA Cathut e a thaw hah na tawk awh hoeh dawkvah,
Because thou didst not serve the Lord thy God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things:
48 BAWIPA ni a patoun e tarannaw e thaw hah vonhlam hoi, tui kahran hoi, caici lah onae hoi bangpueng dawk roedeng laihoi na tawk awh han. Na rawk awh hoehroukrak na lahuen dawk sumkahnam a bang awh han.
Thou shalt serve thy enemy, whom the Lord will send upon thee, in hunger, and thirst, and nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put an iron yoke upon thy neck, till he consume thee.

The Lord will bring upon thee a nation from afar, and from the uttermost ends of the earth, like an eagle that flyeth swiftly, whose tongue thou canst not understand,
50 A lawk na thai awh hoeh e miphun, kacuenaw hai ka bari hoeh e miphun, kanawnaw hai ka pahren hoeh e miphun, ka matheng e miphun lah ao awh han.
A most insolent nation, that will shew no regard to the ancients, nor have pity on the infant,

And will devour the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruits of thy land: until thou be destroyed, and will leave thee no wheat, nor wine, nor oil, nor herds of oxen, nor flocks of sheep: until he destroy thee.
52 Na ram dawk e na kâuep e khopui rapannaw pueng a tip awh hoehroukrak, na khoram kaawm e pueng a kalup awh han. Na BAWIPA Cathut ni na poe e na ram kaawm e pueng, na khoram kaawm e pueng dawk hai thoseh a kalup awh han.
And consume thee in all thy cities, and thy strong and high walls be brought down, wherein thou trustedst in all thy land. Thou shalt be besieged within thy gates in all thy land which the Lord thy God will give thee:
53 Na taran ni khik na kalup dawkvah, na BAWIPA Cathut ni na poe e canu capa camosennaw e moinaw hah na ca awh han.
And thou shalt eat the fruit of thy womb, and the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God shall give thee, in the distress and extremity wherewith thy enemy shall oppress thee.
54 Na onae kho hah taran ni khik a kalup toteh,
The man that is nice among you, and very delicate, shall envy his own brother, and his wife, that lieth in his bosom,
55 a nuen kahawi e tongpa ni a takang lawi vah, amae hmau, a pahren e a yu, hoi a pek e a canu capanaw patenghai yah, rei van laipalah a ca han.
So that he will not give them of the flesh of his children, which he shall eat: because he hath nothing else in the siege and the want, wherewith thy enemies shall distress thee within all thy gates.
56 Na onae kho hah taran ni khik a kalup teh runae na kâhmo toteh, a takthai a naw lawi vah, talai patenghai ka coungroe boihoeh e napui ni hai, a pahren e a vâ, a canu hoi a capa patenghai hmawt ngai mahoeh.
The tender and delicate woman, that could not go upon the ground, nor set down her foot for over much niceness and tenderness, will envy her husband who lieth in her bosom, the flesh of her son, and of her daughter,
57 A khe e camonaw hoi a thunnaw patenghai arulahoi a ca awh han.
And the filth of the afterbirths, that come forth from between her thighs, and the children that are born the same hour. For they shall eat them secretly for the want of all things, in the siege and distress, wherewith thy enemy shall oppress thee within thy gates.
58 Na BAWIPA Cathut, ka lentoe ni teh takikatho poung e min hah taki hanelah thoseh, hete kâlawk dawk thut lah kaawm e hete lawklungnaw pueng hah kâhruetcuet lahoi na tarawi hoeh pawiteh,
If thou wilt not keep, and fulfill all the words of this law, that are written in this volume, and fear his glorious and terrible name: that is, The Lord thy God:
59 nange lacik hoi na ca catounnaw koe ka phat hane lacik hah atueng ka saw sak vaiteh, dam thai hoeh e kângairu han kawi hah BAWIPA Cathut ni a tho sak han.
The Lord shall increase thy plagues, and the plagues of thy seed, plagues great and lasting, infirmities grievous and perpetual.
60 Hotnaw e hmalah, nang ni na taki e Izip ram e patawnae pueng hai BAWIPA ni nang dawk a pha sak han. Hotnaw teh nang dawk a kâbet awh han.
And he shall bring back on thee all the afflictions of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of, and they shall stick fast to thee.
61 Hothloilah, hete kâlawk cauk dawk thut lah kaawm hoeh e patawpanatnae lacik kaawm naw pueng hai, na rawk hoehroukrak BAWIPA ni nang dawk a pha sak han.
Moreover the Lord will bring upon thee all the diseases, and plagues, that are not written in the volume of this law till he consume thee:
62 Kalvan e âsi yit touh na kapap awh nakunghai, BAWIPA Cathut e lawk na ngâi awh hoeh dawkvah, kayounca lah na o awh han.
And you shall remain few in number, who before were as the stars of heaven for multitude, because thou heardst not the voice of the Lord thy God.
63 BAWIPA ni nangmouh hanlah hawinae sak e hoi pungdaw sak hanelah a ngai e patetlah nangmouh lathueng rawknae pha sak hane hoi nangmouh raphoe e dawk a lunghawi teh, coe hanelah na kâen sin awh e ram thung hoi phawk lah na o awh han.
And as the Lord rejoiced upon you before doing good to you, and multiplying you: so he shall rejoice destroying and bringing you to nought, so that you shall be taken away from the land which thou shalt go in to possess.
64 BAWIPA Cathut ni talai poutnae koehoi avanglah apoutnae koe totouh, miphun pueng koe na kâkahei sak han. Hawvah, na mintoenaw ni a panue awh hoeh e thing cathut, talung cathutnaw hah na bawk awh han.
The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof: and there thou shalt serve strange gods, which both thou art ignorant of and thy fathers, wood and stone.
65 Hote miphunnaw rahak vah, nang teh roumnae awm mahoeh. Na khok kâhatnae awm mahoeh. Lungtâsuenae, mit thayounnae, hoi lungthoengnae hah BAWIPA ni na poe han.
Neither shalt thou be quiet, even in those nations, nor shall there be any rest for the sole of thy foot. For the Lord will give thee a fearful heart, and languishing eyes, and a soul consumed with pensiveness:
66 Nang teh karum khodai pout laipalah, lungpuennae hoi, kadout han na ou, ka hlout han na ou tie panuek laipalah na o han.
And thy life shall be as it were hanging before thee. Thou shalt fear night and day, neither shalt thou trust thy life.
67 Na lungthung vah takinae, na mit hoi na hmu e hno dawkvah, nang ni amom vah tangmin a pha lei saw na ti vaiteh, tangmin vah, amom a pha lei saw na ti han.
In the morning thou shalt say: Who will grant me evening? and at evening: Who will grant me morning? for the fearfulness of thy heart, wherewith thou shalt be terrified, and for those things which thou shalt see with thy eyes.
68 Hote lam hah bout na hmawt awh mahoeh toe ka tie lam dawk hoi BAWIPA ni nang hah Izip ram lah lawng hoi bout na thak dawkvah, hote ram dawk sanpa sannu lah o hanelah, tarannaw koe na yo awh han. Hateiteh, apinihai nang hah na ran ngaihoeh telah Isarelnaw koe a dei awh han.
The Lord shall bring thee again with ships into Egypt, by the way whereof he said to thee that thou shouldst see it no more. There shalt thou be set to sale to thy enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
