But, Saul, yet breathing threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, going unto the High-priest,
2 Damaskas kho e sinakoknaw koe poe hanelah panue nahane ca a hei. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Bawipa lamthung ka dawn e naw tongpa hoi napui thoseh, a hmu e pueng katek vaiteh Jerusalem lah hrawi thai na hanelah doeh.
asked from him letters for Damascus, unto the synagogues; to the end that, if he should find, any, who were of The Way, whether men or women, he might bring them, bound, unto Jerusalem.
3 Hottelah ahni ni a cei teh Damaskas khopui teng a pha navah, kalvan lahoi angnae ni pheng a tue.
But, as he was journeying, it came to pass that he was drawing near unto Damascus, and, suddenly, there flashed around him a light out of heaven;
4 Talai dawk a rawp teh, Sawl, Sawl bangkong kai na rektap telah ahni koe dei e lawk a thai.
And, falling unto the earth, he heard a voice saying unto him—Saul! Saul! why, me, art thou persecuting?
5 Bawipa nang apimaw, telah a pacei navah Bawipa ni kai teh nang ni na rektap e Jisuh doeh.
And he said—Who art thou, Lord? And, he, [said] —I, am Jesus, whom, thou, art persecuting!
6 Thaw nateh kho thung kâen lah, na sak hane thaw na dei pouh han, telah atipouh.
But rise up, and enter into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 Ahni hoi kahlawng rei kacetnaw ni lawk teh a thai awh ei apihai a hmu awh hoeh dawkvah muen a ka ngai awh teh lawkkamuem lahoi hawvah a kangdue awh.
But, the men who were accompanying him, stood speechless, —hearing, indeed, the voice, but beholding no one.
8 Sawl teh hluet a thaw ei banghai a hmu thai hoeh dawkvah, taminaw ni a kut dawk hoi a hrawi teh, Damaskas khopui lah a ceikhai awh.
And Saul arose from the earth, and, his eyes being opened, he could see nothing; and, taking him by the hand, they led him into Damascus, —
9 Ahni teh hnin thum touh thung a mit a dawn teh rawca cat laipalah ao.
And he was three days without seeing, and did neither eat nor drink.
10 Damaskas kho dawk Ananias tie a hnukkâbang buet touh ao. Kamnuenae lahoi, Bawipa ni, Ananias telah a kaw. Ahni ni, kai hivah ka o, Bawipa, telah atipouh.
Now there was a certain disciple in Damascus, by name Ananias; and, the Lord, said unto him in a vision—Ananias! And, he, said—Lo! I, [am here], Lord!

And the Lord [said] unto him—Rise! go into the street which is called Straight, and seek, in the house of Judas, one Saul, by name, of Tarsus. For lo! he is praying, —

And hath seen a man [in a vision], Ananias by name, coming in and laying on him his hands, to the intent he should see.
13 Ananias ni, Bawipa, ahni ni Jerusalem kho e na tami kathoungnaw koe hno kahawihoehe moi a sak tie tami moikapap ni a dei e ka thai.
And Ananias, answered—Lord! I have heard from many concerning this man, how many evil things unto thy saints he hath done in Jerusalem;
14 Vaihma bawinaw koehoi kâtawnnae hoi hivah a tho. Na min kakawnaw pueng man thainae kâ a tawn, telah atipouh.
And, here, he hath authority from the High-priests to bind all them that call upon thy name.
15 Hateiteh, Bawipa ni cet haw ahni teh Jentelnaw, siangpahrangnaw hoi Isarelnaw hmalah ka min ka sin hanelah ka rawi toe.
But the Lord said unto him—Be going thy way; for, a choice vessel unto me, is this man, to bear my name before both [the] nations and kings, and the sons of Israel;
16 Ahni teh ka min kecu dawk rucatnae a khang hane naw ka panue sak han, telah a ti.
For, I, will let him understand how many things he must needs, for my name, suffer.
17 Hahoi, Ananias ni a cei teh, imthungkhu vah a kâen. Sawl van vah a kut a toung teh, ka nawngha, Sawl na tho nah lam vah nang koe ka kamnuek e Bawipa Jisuh ni na mit bout ang sak teh, Kathoung Muitha hoi na kawi thai nahan kai na patoun, telah atipouh.
And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and, laying upon him his hands, said—Saul, brother! The Lord, hath sent me, —Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way by which thou wast coming, —that thou mayest recover sight, and be filled with Holy Spirit.

And, straightway, there fell from him—from his eyes, —as it were scales; he recovered sight also, and, arising, was immersed:

And, receiving food, gained strength. And he came to be with the disciples who were in Damascus certain days;
20 Sawl ni Khrih teh Cathut e ca doeh telah sinakoknaw dawk tang a pâpho.
And, straightway, in the synagogues, he began proclaiming Jesus, that, This, is the Son of God.
21 Hote lawk ka thai e naw abuemlah ni kângairu awh teh, hete tami teh Jerusalem kho e Bawipa min kakawnaw raphoe hanlah ka kâyawm e tami nahoehmaw, Ahnimanaw katek vaiteh vaihma bawinaw koevah hrawi hanelah hivah ka tho e nahoehmaw telah ati awh.
And all who were hearing were astonished, and began to say—is not, this, he who destroyed, in Jerusalem, them that invoke this name; and, here, for this purpose, had come, in order that he might lead them, bound, unto the High-priests?
22 Hatei, Sawl teh a tha hoe ao. Jisuh teh Khrih doeh ati teh kampangkhai dawkvah Damaskas kho kaawm e Judahnaw hah a kângairu sak.
But, Saul, was the more gaining power; and was confounding the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, shewing, by comparison, that—This, is the Christ.
23 A hnin moi ao toteh, Judahnaw ni Sawl hah thei hanlah kho a khang awh.
Now, when a considerable number of days were being fulfilled, the Jews took counsel together to kill him;
24 Hatei, Sawl ni a khokhang awh e a panue. Sawl thei hanelah kho a khang awh dawkvah tangmin tangtho longkha hah a ring awh.
But their plot was made known unto Saul, —and they were even narrowly watching the gates, both day and night, that they might kill him;
25 Hatnavah, a hnukkâbangnaw ni Sawl hah a hrawi awh teh, tangmin vah tapawm dawk hoi kho kalupnae rapan hloilah a pabo awh.
But the disciples, taking him by night, through the wall, let him down, lowering him in a basket.
26 Sawl ni Jerusalem a pha navah, a hnukkâbangnaw koe huiko hanlah a panki eiteh a yuem awh hoeh dawkvah a taki awh.
And, when he had arrived in Jerusalem, he made attempts to join himself unto the disciples; and all were afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
27 Hatei Barnabas koevah bangtelamaw, Bawipa a hmu teh, Bawipa ni Sawl koe bangtelamaw lawk a dei tie naw hoi Damaskas kho dawk Jisuh min taranhawi lahoi a pâpho e kongnaw kacaicalah a dei pouh.
But, Barnabas, taking him, brought him unto the apostles, and related unto them, —how, in the way, he had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken unto him; and how, in Damascus, he had spoken boldly in the name of Jesus.
28 Sawl teh Jerusalem vah gunceinaw hoi rei a ceio navah, Bawipa min lahoi taranhawi laihoi a pâpho awh.
And he was with them, coming in and going out in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord;
29 Sawl teh Grik lawk ka dei e Judahnaw hoi a kâoun awh teh ahnimouh ni Sawl teh thei hanlah a kâcai awh.
And was both speaking and discussing with the Grecian Jews, —but, they, were setting to work to kill him.
30 Hote kong hah a hmaunawnghanaw ni a thai awh navah, Kaisarea kho lah a ceikhai awh teh, Tarshish kho lah a patoun awh.
And the brethren, discovering it, brought him down into Caesarea, and sent him away unto Tarsus.
31 Hatnavah Judah kho, Galilee kho, Samaria kho kaawm e kawhmoun pueng ni teh karoumcalah ao awh. Ahnimanaw ni Bawipa takinae dawk thoseh, Kathoung Muitha e thapoenae dawk hai thoseh, a hring awh teh tami hoe a pung awh.
So then, the assembly throughout the whole of Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, had peace, building itself up, and going on its way in the fear of the Lord; and, by the advocacy of the Holy Spirit, was being multiplied.
32 Piter ni hnintangkuem kahlawng a cei teh Lidda khovah a pha. Hote kho dawk kaawm e tami kathoungnaw koe a pai.
And it came to pass that, Peter, going through all [quarters] went down unto the saints also dwelling in Lydda.
33 Hote kho dawkvah Aeneas tie tami teh kum taroe touh thung a kamkhuen teh ikhun dawk sut ayan e hah a hmu.
And he found there a certain man, by name Aeneas, who, for eight years, had been lying prostrate upon a bed, for he was paralysed.
34 Hatnavah Piter ni Aeneas koe Jisuh ni nang teh na dam sak toe, thaw nateh na iphah kalawng leih, atipouh navah ahni teh hluet tang a thaw.
And Peter said unto him—Aeneas! Jesus Christ healeth thee! Arise, and smooth thy bed for thyself. And, straightway, he arose.
35 Lidda kho hoi Sharon kho e kaawm e naw ni ahni a hmu awh navah Cathut koe lah a lungkâthung awh.
And all who dwelt in Lydda and Saron, saw him, —and, they, turned unto the Lord.
36 Joppa kho kaawm e Dawka tie Tabitha teh a hnukkâbang e napui buet touh lah ao. Ahni teh hnokahawi pou ka sak ni teh poenae lahoi thaw ka tawk e lah ao.
Now, in Joppa, there was a certain female disciple, by name Tabitha, which, being translated, means Dorcas [a Gazelle]. The same, was full of good works and alms which she was doing.
37 Hatnae hnin navah ahni teh a pataw dawk a due. Taminaw ni a ro teh tui a pâhluk awh hnukkhu imvan e irakhan dawk a ta awh.
And it came to pass in those days, that she, sickening, died; and, bathing her, they laid her in an upper room.
38 Joppa kho pui teh Lidda khopui hoi a hnai dawkvah Lidda khothung vah Piter ao tie a hnukkâbangnaw ni a thai toteh ahni koe tami kahni touh a patoun awh. Kaimanaw koevah karang tho ei telah ati pouh.
Now, Lydda being nigh unto Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was therein, sent off two men unto him, beseeching him—Do not delay to come through unto us!
39 Hatdawkvah, Piter ni hluet a thaw teh ahnimouh hoi imvan e rakhan thung cungtalah a kâen. Piter a pha toteh lahmainunaw ni Piter e a teng a kangdue awh teh a kâ awh. Ahnimanaw ni Dawka a hring nah a khui e khohnanaw a pâtue awh.
And Peter, arising, went with them, —whom, when he arrived, they brought up into the upper room; and there stood by him all the widows, weeping, and showing the tunics and mantles—whatsoever things Dorcas was making while she was with them.
40 Piter ni ahnimanaw alawilah a tâco sak hnukkhu, a khokcuengkhuem teh a ratoum. Hahoi a ro koe lah a kamlang teh Tabitha thaw leih atipouh navah ahni teh a mit a padai teh Piter hah a hmu toteh a thaw teh a tahung.
But Peter, putting them all outside, knelt down and prayed; and, turning towards the body, said—Tabitha, arise! And she, opening her eyes and seeing Peter, sat up.
41 Hahoi Piter ni Dawka hah a kut dawk hoi a pathaw teh a kangdue sak. Tami kathoungnaw hoi lahmainunaw a kaw teh bout a hring toe telah ahnimouh koe a patue.
And, giving her his hand, he raised her up; and, calling the saints and the widows, presented her, living.
42 Hote kamthang teh Joppa kho thung pueng dawk a kamthang teh tami moikapap ni Bawipa a yuem awh.
And it became known throughout the whole of Joppa, and many believed upon the Lord.
43 Hot hnukkhu hoi Piter teh Joppa kho dawk phaivuen ka sak e Simon im vah hnin ka saw lah ao.
And it came to pass that, for a considerable number of days, he abode in Joppa, with one Simon, a tanner.
