< 2 Thesalon 3 >
1 Ahnoungpoung lah, hmaunawnghanaw, Bawipa e lawkkatang teh, nangmouh koe a kâkahei teh Bawilennae a kamnue e patetlah hmuen tangkuem koehai a kamnue thai nahanelah,
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also [it is] with you;
and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for all have not faith.
3 Hatei, Bawipa teh yuemkamcu e lah ao. Nangmouh na caksak awh vaiteh kahawihoehe hno pueng dawk hoi hlout nahanelah na kabawp awh han.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and guard you from the evil [one].
And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command.
5 Cathut lungpataw sak nahanelah thoseh, Khrih patetlah hring sak nahanelah thoseh, Bawipa ni nangmae lung hah hroecoe lawiseh.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.
6 Hmaunawnghanaw kaimouh koe na kamtu awh e patetlah tarawi laipalah hno kamsoumhoeh lah ka sak e hmaunawnghanaw pueng hah roun awh tie hah maimae Bawipa Jisuh Khrih min lahoi kâ na poe awh.
Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received of us.
For yourselves know how ye ought to imitate us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
8 Apie rawca hai ka cat rumram awh hoeh. Nangmouh thung dawk buet touh boehai na tarawk awh hoeh nahanlah patangpalai laihoi kâyawm awh teh karum khodai thaw ka tawk awh.
neither did we eat bread for nought at any man’s hand, but in labour and travail, working night and day, that we might not burden any of you:
9 Hottelah ka saknae teh hmu han ka ngai awh dawk nahoeh. Nangmanaw ni kamtu hanelah ka tawksak awh e doeh.
not because we have not the right, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you, that ye should imitate us.
10 Bangkongtetpawiteh nangmouh hoi rei ka o navah ka pangak e teh rawca hai cat nahanh seh telah kâ na poe awh.
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, If any will not work, neither let him eat.
11 Hno kamsoumhoeh lah ka sak niteh banghai tawk laipalah, ma hoi kâkuen hoeh e dawk ka kambawng e tami tangawn na o awh tie ka thai awh.
For we hear of some that walk among you disorderly, that work not at all, but are busybodies.
12 Hot patet e taminaw koe mae rawca, ca thai nahanelah lungmawng lahoi thaw na tawk thai nahan, Bawipa Jisuh Khrih ni kâ na poe e patetlah tha na poe awh,
Now them that are such we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 Hmaunawnghanaw hnokahawi na sak awh navah lungpoutnae tawn hanh awh.
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well-doing.
And if any man obeyeth not our word by this epistle, note that man, that ye have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
15 Hatei hote tami hah taran telah pouk a hanh awh. Hmaunawngha patetlah pouk awh, hroecoe awh.
And [yet] count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
Bawipa teh nangmouh abuemlah koe awm lawiseh.
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
Hathateh, ca kathut e pueng dawk e mitnout e lah ao. Kai ni hettelah ouk ka thut.
The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
18 Maimae Bawipa Jisuh Khrih e lungmanae teh nangmouh pueng koe awm lawiseh. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
