And it was the war long between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and David [was] going and strong and [the] house of Saul [were] going and weak.
2 Devit ni Hebron kho vah capa a tawn. Camin Amnon, Jezreel tami Ahinoam koehoi e doeh.
(And they were born *Q(K)*) to David sons in Hebron and he was firstborn his Amnon of Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman].
3 Apâhni e teh, Khileab, Karmel tami Nabal e yu Abigail koehoi e doeh. Apâthum e teh Absalom, Geshur siangpahrang Talmai canu Maakah capa doeh.
And [was] second his Kileab (of Abigail *Q(k)*) [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite and [was] the third Absalom [the] son of Maacah [the] daughter of Talmai [the] king of Geshur.

And [was] the fourth Adonijah [the] son of Haggith and [was] the fifth Shephatiah [the] son of Abital.
5 Ataruk e teh, Ithream Devit e yu Eglah koehoi e doeh. Hetnaw teh Devit capanaw Hebron kho dawk a khe e naw doeh.
And [was] the sixth Ithream of Eglah [the] wife of David these they were born to David in Hebron.
6 Sawl imthung hoi Devit imthung a kâtuk awh navah, Abner teh Sawl imthung koe lah a tha pou a sai.
And it was when was war between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and Abner he was strengthening himself in [the] house of Saul.
7 Sawl ni ado a tawn, A min teh Rizpah, Aiah canu doeh. Ishbosheth ni Abner koevah bangkong apa e ado koe na kâen telah atipouh.
And [belonged] to Saul a concubine and name her [was] Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah and he said to Abner why? have you gone into [the] concubine of father my.
8 Ishbosheth lawk a dei e ni Abner hah a lung puenghoi a khuek sak. Judah taminaw e ui e lû namaw, sahnin ditouh na pa Sawl imthungnaw hoi a hmaunawngha hoi a huikonaw koe lungmanae kamnue sak e lahoi Devit e kut dawk ka poe awh hoeh. Nang ni hete napui kong dawk yonnae ka sak e patetlah na pouk.
And it burned to Abner exceedingly on [the] words of Ish-bosheth and he said ¿ [the] head of a dog [am] I which [belongs] to Judah this day I show loyalty with [the] house of - Saul father your to brothers his and to friend[s] his and not I have delivered you in [the] hand of David and you have visited on me [the] guilt of the woman this day.

Thus may he do God to Abner and thus may he add to him if just as he swore Yahweh to David that so I will do for him.

To take away the kingdom from [the] house of Saul and to establish [the] throne of David over Israel and over Judah from Dan and to Beer Sheba.
11 Abner hah a taki toung dawkvah Ishbosheth lawkkam touh boehai pathung hoeh.
And not he was able again to bring back Abner a word because feared he him.
12 Abner ni amae yueng lah Devit koe patounenaw a patoun teh hete ram heh apie maw kai koe lawkkamnae sak haw. Isarelnaw nang koe lah kampang hanelah, ka kut heh nang koe lah a kampang han telah a ti.
And he sent Abner messengers - to David (in place of himself *Q(K)*) saying [belongs] to whom? [the] land saying make! covenant your with me and here! hand my [will be] with you to bring round to you all Israel.
13 Devit ni ahawi nang koe lawkkamnae ka sak han. Hateiteh hno buet touh ka hei han. Kai na kâhmo hanelah na tho navah, Sawl canu Mikhal na thokhai hoehpawiteh, ka mei na hmawt mahoeh telah a ti.
And he said good I I will make with you a covenant only a thing one I [am] asking from with you saying not you will see face my for - except before bring you Michal [the] daughter of Saul when coming you to see face my.
14 Devit ni Sawl e capa Ishbosheth koevah Filistin tami vuensom 100 touh hoi ka ran e ka yu Mikhal hah na poe telah patounenaw a patoun.
And he sent David messengers to Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul saying give! wife my Michal whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of Philistines.
15 Ishbosheth ni tami a patoun teh, a vâ Laish capa Paltiel kut dawk e a thokhai.
And he sent Ish-bosheth and he took her from with a husband from with Paltiel [the] son of (Laish. *Q(K)*)
16 A vâ teh a kâ laihoi a cei teh, Bahurim kho totouh a kâbang. Abner ni ahni koe cet nateh ban lawih telah atipouh teh a ban.
And he went with her husband her going and weeping after her to Bahurim and he said to him Abner go return and he returned.
17 Abner ni Isarel kacuenaw a pâkhueng teh, ahnimouh koe, hah hoehnahlan teh Devit heh siangpahrang lah na ngai awh e doeh.
And [the] word of Abner it was with [the] elders of Israel saying both yesterday as well as [the] third day you were seeking David to king over you.
18 Atuvah tawmrasang awh leih. Bangkongtetpawiteh, BAWIPA ni Devit kong dawk ka san Devit kut dawk hoi ka tami Isarel hah Filistinnaw kut dawk hoi na rungngang han telah a dei atipouh.
And therefore act for Yahweh he has spoken to David saying by [the] hand of - David servant my to deliver people my Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines and from [the] hand of all enemies their.
19 Abner ni Benjamin taminaw a thainae koehai a dei. Hottelah Abner ni Isarel taminaw hoi Benjamin imthungnaw ni ahawi ati awh e pueng Hebron vah Devit koe dei pouh hanelah a cei awh.
And he spoke also Abner in [the] ears of Benjamin and he went also Abner to speak in [the] ears of David at Hebron all that it was good in [the] eyes of Israel and in [the] eyes of all [the] house of Benjamin.
20 Abner ni tami 20 touh hoi Devit aonae koe Hebron kho lah a cei teh, Devit ni roipu a sak teh, Abner hoi a taminaw a ca sak.
And he came Abner to David Hebron and [were] with him twenty men and he made David for Abner and for [the] men who [were] with him a feast.
21 Abner ni Devit koevah, kathâw vaiteh, nang koe lawkkamnae a sak thai awh nahane hoi na pouknae patetlah lawk ka ceng thai nahan, Isarelnaw pueng ka bawipa koe pâkhueng hanelah, ka cei han telah ati. Devit ni Abner a patoun teh duem a cei.
And he said Abner to David let me arise - and let me go and let me gather to lord my the king all Israel so they may make with you a covenant and you will reign over all that it desires self your and he sent away David Abner and he went in peace.
22 Hatnavah, Joab hoi Devit e a sannaw teh taran a pâleinae koehoi a ban awh teh, hnopai moi a sin awh. Abner teh Devit hoi Hebron kho dawk rei awm roi hoeh. Devit ni a patoun toung dawkvah karoumcalah a cei.
And there! [the] servants of David and Joab [was] coming from the raid and plunder much with them they had brought and Abner not he [was] with David in Hebron for he had sent away him and he had gone in peace.
23 Joab hoi ama koe kaawm e taminaw pha awh navah, Ner capa Abner hah, siangpahrang koe a tho teh, ahni ni a ban sak toung dawkvah karoumcalah a cei telah Joab koe a dei pouh han.
And Joab and all the army which [was] with him they came and people told to Joab saying he came Abner [the] son of Ner to the king and he has sent away him and he has gone in peace.
24 Joab teh Siangpahrang koe a kâen teh, bawipa, bangtelamaw na sak e hah khenhaw! Abner teh nang koe tho teh, bangkongmaw yout na cei sak.
And he went Joab to the king and he said what? have you done here! he came Abner to you why? this did you send away him and he has gone completely.
25 Ner capa Abner teh na panue, nang dum hanelah, na tâco na kâen, na sak e pueng panue han a ngai dawk ka tho e doeh telah a ti.
You know Abner [the] son of Ner that to deceive you he came and to know exit your and (entrance your *Q(K)*) and to know all that you [are] doing.
26 Devit koehoi Joab a tâco navah, Abner hah pâlei hanelah patounenaw a patoun. Sirah tuikhu koehoi bout a bankhai. Hatei teh Devit panuek hoeh.
And he went out Joab from with David and he sent messengers after Abner and they brought back him from [the] Cistern of Sirah and David not he knew.
27 Abner ni Hebron kho a pha navah, Joab ni rapan longkha koe arulahoi lawk kâpan hanelah a ceikhai teh a hmaunawngha Asahel thi a palawngnae koe a von dawk a thut teh a due.
And he returned Abner Hebron and he turned aside him Joab into [the] middle of the gate (to speak *LA(bh)*) with him in quietness and he struck him there the belly and he died for [the] blood Asah-el brother his.
28 Hathnukkhu, Devit ni a thai navah, Ner capa Abner thi palawngnae kong dawk kai hoi ka uknaeram teh, BAWIPA hmalah pou ka kamthoung han.
And he heard David from after thus and he said [am] innocent I and kingdom my from with Yahweh until perpetuity from [the] blood of Abner [the] son of Ner.
29 Joab hoi a na pa imthungnaw e lû dawk bawt na seh, Joab imthung dawk thihnaipatawnae, hrikbei, hnamkhun, tahloi hoi duenae, takangnae pout hanh naseh, telah a ti.
Let them whirl over [the] head of Joab and to all [the] house of father his and may not he be cut off from [the] house of Joab [one who] suffers a discharge and [one who] has a skin disease and [one who] takes hold on the spindle and [one who] falls by the sword and [one] lacking of bread.
30 Hottelah, Joab hoi a nawngha Abisai ni Abner hah a thei van, bangkongtetpawiteh, Asahel hah Gibeon kâtuknae koe a thei dawk vah.
And Joab and Abishai brother his they killed Abner on that he had killed Asahel brother their at Gibeon in the battle.
31 Devit ni hai Joab hoi ama koe kaawmnaw koe na hni hah ravek awh nateh Buri kâkhu awh. Abner hanelah khuikanae sak awh atipouh teh, Devit ni ro hah a kâbang sin.
And he said David to Joab and to all the people which [was] with him tear garments your and gird yourselves sackcloth and mourn before Abner and the king David [was] walking after the bier.
32 Abner teh Hebron vah a pakawp awh teh, siangpahrang hoi taminaw teh Abner phuen koe a ka awh.
And they buried Abner in Hebron and he lifted up the king voice his and he wept to [the] grave of Abner and they wept all the people.
33 Siangpahrang Abner a ka khai awh teh, Abner teh tamipathu due la maw a due han.
And he lamented the king because of Abner and he said ¿ like [the] death of a fool will he die Abner.
34 Na kut hai katek hoeh, na khok hai hlong buet hoeh. Tamikapo kut dawk hoi kadout e patetlah duenae na tawng toe telah ati. Taminaw hai bout a kâ awh.
Hand your not [were] bound and feet your not to bronze fetters they were brought near as falls before sons of injustice you have fallen and they repeated all the people to weep on him.
35 Khohmo hoehnahlan Devit teh rawca ca sak hanelah taminaw a tho awh. Hatei Devit ni kanî a khup hoehnahlan rawca thoseh, alouknaw hai thoseh ka cat pawiteh, Cathut ni a ngai e patetlah na tet naseh, hothlak kapap lahai na sak naseh telah thoe a kâbo.
And it came all the people to make to eat David bread while still day and he swore an oath David saying thus may he do to me God and thus may he add that except before goes the sun I will taste bread or all anything.
36 Hote hah taminaw ni a thai toteh, a lunghawi awh. Siangpahrang ni a sak e pueng taminaw ni a ngai awh teh a lunghawi sak awh.
And all the people they paid regard and it was good in view their like all that he did the king in [the] eyes of all the people it was good.
37 Bangkongtetpawiteh, tamihu hoi Isarelnaw pueng ni hat hnin vah Ner capa Abner thei e hah siangpahrang khokhangnae nahoeh tie a panue awh.
And they knew all the people and all Israel on the day that that not it was from the king to kill Abner [the] son of Ner.
38 Siangpahrang ni a taminaw koe sahnin vah Isarelnaw dawk bawi hoi tami kalen a due tie na panuek awh hoeh maw.
And he said the king to servants his ¿ not do you know that a leader and a great [man] he has fallen the day this in Israel.
39 Kai teh satui awi e lah ka o eiteh, sahnin ka tha ayoun. Zeruiah capa lah kaawm e hetnaw teh kai hlak a thao awh. Ka hawihoeh e patetlah BAWIPA ni pathung naseh telah a ti.
And I this day [am] weak and [am] anointed king and the men these [the] sons of Zeruiah [are too] hard for me may he repay Yahweh to [the] doer of the evil according to evil his.
