< 2 Siangpahrang 21 >

1 Manasseh teh siangpahrang lah ao nah, kum 12 touh a pha. Jerusalem vah kum 55 siangpahrang lah ao. A manu min teh Hephzibah doeh.
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hephzi–bah.
2 Isarel catounnaw hmalah BAWIPA ni a pâlei e miphunnaw ni panuettho e hnokahawi hoeh e ouk a sak awh e naw hah BAWIPA mithmu vah ouk a sak awh.
And he did that which was evil in the sight of Yhwh, after the abominations of the heathen, whom Yhwh cast out before the children of Israel.
3 Bangtelane tetpawiteh, A na pa Hezekiah ni a raphoe e hmuenrasang hah bout a sak dawkvah, Isarel siangpahrang Ahab ni ouk a sak e Baal bawknae khoungroe lah bout kangdue teh thingmeikaphawk a sak awh, kalvan kaawmnaw pueng hah a bawk awh teh a thaw hah a tawk pouh awh.
For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 BAWIPA ni Jerusalem vah ka min ka o sak han ati e patetlah BAWIPA im vah thuengnae khoungroe a sak awh.
And he built altars in the house of Yhwh, of which Yhwh said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 BAWIPA bawknae im thongma kahni touh dawkvah, kalvan âsinaw bawk nahanelah thuengnae khouengroe a sak awh.
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of Yhwh.
6 Amae a ca hah, hmaisawi thuengnae lah a sak teh kutkhetkathoumnaw a khet sak teh, sueânnae hah a hno awh. Hmaui hoi kahrainaw hah a kambawngkhai awh. Cathut e lungkhueknae hoe a kâan sak awh teh, BAWIPA hmalah yonnae kalen a sak awh.
And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of Yhwh, to provoke him to anger.
7 BAWIPA ni, Devit hoi a capa Solomon koevah hete im hoi Jerusalem, Isarel miphunnaw pueng thung hoi ka rawi e dawkvah, ka min teh yungyoe ka o sak vaiteh,
And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which Yhwh said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 Kâ na poe e pueng hoi ka san Mosi koe kâ ka poe e naw pueng patetlah na tarawi awh pawiteh, na mintoenaw koe ka poe tangcoung e, ram thungup hai Isarelnaw teh nâtuek hai a khok paheng sak mahoeh atipouh e imthung vah, thingmeikaphawk a sak awh e hah a ta awh.
Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9 Hatei banglahai noutna awh hoeh teh, BAWIPA ni Isarel catounnaw hmalah a pâlei awh e miphunnaw ni a sak awh e hlak hai ka mathout lah sak hanlah, Manasseh ni ayânaw a pasawt.
But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom Yhwh destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 Hatdawkvah, BAWIPA ni a san profet hno lahoi a dei e teh,
And Yhwh spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 Judah siangpahrang Manasseh ni, het hloi e panuettho e hno hah ayan vah Amornaw hlak hai hoe ka nut lah a sak awh teh Judahnaw hah meikaphawk hno lahoi yonnae a saksak.
Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 Hatdawkvah Isarel BAWIPA Cathut ni, hettelah a dei, khenhaw! Jerusalem hoi Judahnaw koe kamthang ka thai tangkuem koe a hnâ kahni touh hoi hoe ka tâdeng sak han.
Therefore thus saith Yhwh God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13 Jerusalem khopui koe Samaria bangnuenae rui hoi Ahab imthungnaw ka bangnue e patetlah, Jerusalem ka bangnue han. Ailo pâle hnukkhu det pakhup e patetlah ka ta han.
And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
14 Kacawie hnonaw teh ka tâkhawng vaiteh a taran kut dawk ka poe pouh han. Hottelah, a na mintoenaw Izip ram hoi a tâco hnin hoi sahnin totouh ka mithmu vah, hnokathout a sak awh teh ka lungkhueknae na pahrue awh toe telah ati.
And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 Hatdawkvah, mintoenaw ni, Izip ram hoi na tâconae hnin hoi sahnin totouh nangmae catounnaw ni kai ka hmalah, yonnae doeh pou na sak awh.
Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
16 Hothloilah BAWIPA mithmu vah, hawihoehnae hah a sak awh teh Judahnaw pueng yonnae a saksak hloilah, Jerusalem avangvanglah totouh, Manasseh ni yon ka tawn hoeh naw e thi moi a palawng.
Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of Yhwh.
17 Hahoi Manasseh tawksaknae hoi kaawm rae, yon a sak e naw teh Judah siangpahrangnaw setouknae cauk dawk thut e lah ao nahoehmaw.
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
18 Manasseh teh a na mintoenaw koe a kâhat teh, Uzziah takha amae imteng vah a pakawp awh. Hahoi a capa Amon ni a yueng lah a uk.
And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
19 Amon teh siangpahrang lah ao nah kum 22 touh a pha. Jerusalem vah kum 2 touh a bawi, a manu min teh Meshullemeth, Jotbah kho e Haruz canu doeh.
Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
20 A na pa Manasseh ni, ouk a sak e patetlah BAWIPA mithmu vah thoenae a sak.
And he did that which was evil in the sight of Yhwh, as his father Manasseh did.
21 A na pa ni a dawn e lamnaw hah a dawn van teh, a na pa ni meikaphawk thaw a tawk e hah a tawk teh a bawk.
And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
22 A na mintoenaw e BAWIPA Cathut a ceitakhai teh BAWIPA lamthung dawn hoeh.
And he forsook Yhwh God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of Yhwh.
23 Amon e a taminaw ni pouk a youk awh teh, siangpahrang teh ama im vah a thei awh.
And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
24 Hatei hote ram e taminaw ni pouk ka youk e Amon e taminaw pueng hah be a thei awh. Hahoi teh hote ram e taminaw ni a capa Josiah teh a yueng lah siangpahrang a tawk sak awh.
And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 Amon tawksaknae dawk hoi kaawm rae teh, Judah siangpahrangnaw setouknae cauk dawk be thut lah ao toung nahoehmaw.
Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
26 Hahoi Uzzah e takha thung, amae tangkom dawkvah a pakawp awh teh a capa Josiah ni a yueng lah a uk.
And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
